If your going to have one local coffee shop in town they better bring it! Well in this case Kofenya Coffee does a good, not great job in my single experience. Located in Uptown Oxford with off street parking by meter. The area was mostly debris free. My visit on a Sunday during brunch and Miami University move in late August. A line was out the door. The set up is similar to other coffee houses where you walk up and order and a case of bakery items are in a case. The space is large with lots of tables allowing for students to study, because make no mistake this is a huge Miami haunt. Service was friendly and efficient from the young female staff. Cappuccinos were ordered with a few bakery items and breakfast sandwich. The prices seem similar to other coffee houses. Payment is at the counter. My coffee was pretty good, the avocado toast was meh. My breakfast sandwich with bacon & egg above average. A banana pudding was meh. It was gluten free. A gluten free chocolate donut was good. Others at my table enjoyed what we shared a bit better than I did. A 3.5 seems to fit best and rounding up with strong customer service and above average coffee. Also don't miss the merch.

A cute college town coffee shop. The baristas were so sweet! There was a lot of seating inside as well as outside. Also very close to a picnic area!

Our barista was a sweetheart! The inside of the coffee shop was a little busy, with finals week, but it was super cute and inviting. Coffee was amazing & so were the overnight oats!

I've got a big bone to pick with Kofenya. Been a long time fan of this place for its drinks, food, and vibes. Over the years though, the breakfast wraps in specific have continued to get smaller and smaller. I paid $7.50 for this wrap that was tiny. Total sham. Total waste of money.

Great selection of hot and cold drinks. Several options you wouldn't see or find at your typical coffee shop. I ended up just getting an iced mocha but still loved it. Prices were very reasonable and didn't make me go broke. They also had several local artist merchandise for purchase and various pastries from surrounding shops. I got a vegan pumpkin chocolate chip donut that was absolutely incredible. Would definitely stop back on my next visit to oxford.

I would probably say this coffee shop is a must stop for coffee lovers. From the minute you walk through the door a lovely coffee aroma fills the air. The ambiance, good coffee (they also offer adult beverages) and food menu all provide a colorful coffeehouse vibe.

I moved to Dayton from Oakland, CA in July '22 and this was by far the best latte I've had since I've been out here. I dedicated years of my life to the coffee world (barista, roasting, and managing) and it was like drinking a latte I made myself. I got a hot caramel oat latte and the milk was steamed perfectly. Perfect temp. Perfect micro foam (especially for a non dairy milk.) Espresso was pulled beautifully it was sweet and nutty. I should have asked for the baristas name but the guy with the beard is an absolute treasure I hope he's paid well. It's so hard to find someone who treats espresso like that (3/22 around 3:45pm)

Kofenya is the perfect college coffee shop. All the employees I've talked to are super nice and chatty, and the aesthetic in there is wonderful! I really like the cute dishes they present the food on as well. Although the avocado toast I bought was a little overpriced, (but let's be honest, when is avocado toast ever NOT overpriced in a hip coffee shop?) I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Seating is pretty limited which is a bit of a bummer, but it's understandable due to COVID and social distance guidelines.

I found it to be a bright spot of my visit to Oxford. Parking is off street by meter. Local vendors had everything to flowers, plants, bakery items and even custom made jewelry. The market is dog friendly on a leash and there were a lot of them enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. If I'm in Oxford on a Saturday morning find me at the Farmers Market in Uptown by the city square.

Everyone there is always super nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about their products and clearly love what they are doing. I went last Saturday I think. They have stayed open during this and have been doing a great job with social distancing and still having an enjoyable market. It helps that it is an outside event. We got a couple tomato starts from Stoney Hedgerow Farm. Craig knows his stuff!!! They have these wonderful laminated sheets that breakdown each of the tomato starts they have. My dad was looking for a yellow tomato so we got the Persimmon. Craig sold us on his Sun Sugars. I'd never heard of them before. They are a yellow cherry tomato that are apparently incredibly sweet. We were told that they are something like candy disguised as fruit. I am very much looking forward to these getting fruit. Can't wait. I also got a Sweet Almond Ring and chocolate chip cookies baked by James. I don't remember his last name. I've had his stuff before and it is all delicious. He offers a variety of breads and sweets. Yum yum. The sweet almond ring was amazing. Baked perfectly. So were the cookies. I love me a soft cookie and James knows how to bake them perfectly. They are also the best ratio of chocolate chips/chunks and dough. I also grabbed a bottle of Sangria from Swine City Brewing. I haven't unfortunately popped the top yet but I am very excited about it. First I didn't know they made wine!!! Second I have been wanting to go to the Brewery for a while then this craziness happened. I was excited to see them there. Their bottles look like beer bottles but they are wine. Definitely stop and see what they have don't pass them up thinking it's beer.
