    Raspberry Ripple smoothie
    Gemma S.

Good place to stop by for a quick bite for lunch! I always enjoy coming here for a sandwich and smoothie when I'm craving something on the healthier side. I love the raspberry ripple smoothie, as you can taste the actual fruit in it and it's not super sugary. This was my mom's pick when she was visiting me one time at college, and thought it sounded good. It was a great choice that I now stick to! I always go for the "Not Yo Mama's Ham and Cheese" sandwich with it as well. I really enjoy the spicy garlic pepenero ham they use with this one, as it gives it a nice kick. Since it's in a college town, it can be really busy at times, especially during parents' weekends for sororities/fraternities or during other big weekends at Miami University. Usually when that happens, there is a bit of a wait, but it's never too bad. The staff will usually let you know the wait time for food as well. The tables are always clean, and the inside is maintained well. I do think it is a bit on the pricier side for what you get, but I'd still recommend to drop in if you're looking for a healthier brunch/lunch alternative in the Oxford area!

I came here for the first time and already can't wait to come back! This place has such a cute inside and a market with a few grocery items in addition to serving fresh food. I got the teriyaki quinoa bowl and it was so fresh and delicious and full of flavor. I already can't wait to come back to try more! (@goodeatswithsarah on Instagram)

Good place for a lunch or breakfast. I feel super healthy when I eat here for some reason. Good service overall and the environment inside is nice. I get togo orders all the time and it's just as good as eating it there. Highly recommend if you're in Oxford.

Fridge and pantry has some unique and yummy food options. Its good for breakfast and lunch. It's a little pricy, but I've enjoyed everything I've ordered there. It's also a nice environment with some packaged items available in the market section which is interesting. You can also order drinks at the bar, or purchase closed containers of many types of alcohol to consume elsewhere.

First time at fridge and pantry and I have to say. I wasn't a big fan. For a college town I thought that the food was very over priced, and the quality wasn't all that great. I ordered a a turkey apple sandwich ( I was the only on in there and it took close to 15 minutes to make my sandwich. Which to me makes no sense since all that in the baguette was turkey, lettuce mustard and apples. Not a complicated sandwich at all. Then the price got me. The sandwich cost $8.99. Which is kinda ridiculously high for such a simple sandwich.

A great new full-deli addition to Uptown Oxford! I went for lunch today, and my meal was delicious! I had the Turkey Apple sandwich--fresh Boar's Head turkey with sharp cheddar, Granny Smith apple slices, honey mustard, and spinach. It was a really filling sandwich! The real treat was the dill potato salad I ordered on the side. Tasty and unique for sure! The interior of the location is really comfortable. I wish they had a bit more seating, including outdoor tables (I think there was only one). The staff were extremely friendly, and they were doing a tremendous job with a big rush. My meal was a bit pricey ($13.50 with a drink), and I hope they add combos with sides and a drink to drive the price down. Nonetheless, this is a winner and I'll definitely be back!

Usually love this place but this was the size of my salad when I ordered it through DoorDash. At least it tasted good.

They offer $12 flights so you can try a few. Today we shared sauerkraut balls which are crispy out, soft and tangy in, complemented by a very tasty creamy mustard sauce. You get eight in the order and they are plenty big. My husband got the avocado bacon burger which was a delight for the eyes as well as the palate. It must have been a half pound and done to perfect medium as requested. I was in a bratwurst and potato pancake mood and after the app I was craving more sauerkraut, so I went for the King Ludwig. This is listed under Sandwiches but believe me, this is knife and fork, and you might also need a ladder. This dish could feed three people. Big thick brat sausage patties and huge potato pancakes. Delicious! Pro tip: ask for some sour cream and some of that mustard aioli. The beer cheese that it comes with is good but didn't seem to go with this particular dish. I dipped some chips in it instead. This was our second visit. Glad to finally return. It can be an adventure getting here, not the least of which is the parking nightmare of Oxford. The descent of the iron railed stairs is kind of fun. There is a handicapped access at the rear of the building, leading to an elevator, but it's designed for wheelchairs or scooters because the ramp is very long. For a person with mobility difficulty who can still walk, this would be a very long walk and they'd probably do better with the stairs. My husband has this issue and he concurred. The wait staff is young and enthusiastic, neatly attired, and so very kind and helpful. The German decor is delightful. What a treasure! Get down here, you'll be glad you did.

I pictured a toasted roll- you know, a dinner roll, maybe with butter on top. Something nostalgic for her but pretty basic. Well, that's not quite what these are. Located in the Armstrong Student Center, Pulley Diner is a basic diner, but also serves the rolls. And they are unique. Picture a big, big dinner roll, but very airy (and yet sturdy too- I broke one of their compostable "plastic" knives trying to cut mine.) It's cut in half, then buttered and toasted while you wait. Then, they add sugary frosting, cinnamon sugar, and powdered sugar. The result is almost big enough for a full meal. It's hot, and sweet but not cloying, and crunchy outside with a soft inside. It's damn good, and I can see why she remembers them fondly. Not haute cuisine, and not something you should eat every day, but as a late night treat or even breakfast with coffee, it's amazing. There are apparently other locations to get this- maybe all the dining halls, or at least one in the Shriver Center- but this one is open 24 hours, and does a booming business in these and in typical diner meals. We didn't have anything else, but the sandwiches we saw looked pretty good. Service was friendly and efficient. I'm sure we'll be back.
