Outside Pizza absolutely delivered. The setup here is such a great one-two punch with Cerebral Brewing which has some stellar beer, then incredible pizza from the separate Outside Pizza counter inside the building. We ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and the Kale Caesar salad to split, which ended up being the perfect amount of food for two people who were hungry. The pizza was outstanding, easily some of the best I've had since moving to Denver. The pepperonis were beautifully cupped with crispy edges, and the crust was next level -- perfectly crisp on the outside while still having that chewy, airy texture inside. The 12-inch size would definitely fill up one hungry person on its own. The Kale Caesar was also surprisingly memorable. The miso Caesar dressing gave it a unique twist that worked really well and made it feel a little more elevated than your standard Caesar salad. Not pictured, but I also tried both ranches. The spicy ranch has a legit kick and was super flavorful, while the buttermilk ranch is very buttermilk forward in the best way possible -- perfect for dipping crusts. Someone in our group ordered the sourdough focaccia, and when they say the slices are thick, they mean THICK. Two giant slices that were fluffy, hearty, and really satisfying. This has become my go-to/favorite pizza spot in Denver - the sourdough crust is airy with the perfect amount of char. My favorites are The Lloyd (sausage + cherry peppers), and The Shroom and Chive. If you are a pickle fan, you must get the pickle pie. I tried it once and it was fun but because I am not a pickle fanatic, it was a one-time thing for me. Both my friend and I solidly ate half the pickle pizza each - it's not just a novelty flavor, it's definitely something you can eat for a full meal (assuming you like pickles). The Market Pie was delicious, from the chewy dough, to the flavorful cheese and pesto, to the vegan sausage topping. I would have certainly liked to have been able to add a little salt, something that is often lacking in the greater midwest, but it's hard to complain when everything is done so well. I can't recommend Outside Pizza enough!! We hired them to cater our campground wedding and we had the best pizza and salad for dinner- everyone was raving about it!!! To start, Ashley and Ryan are just cool people- you just want to be friends with them and those are the types of people you want working your event! Before we hired them, we went to a brewery they were slinging pies at as a little "tasting". My now husband and I are both chefs- and we have some high standards for pizza! My husband took one bite and immediately nodded his head in approval- there is no question about the quality and tastiness of their product. I am particularly a fan of their yeasty, flavorful crust with plenty of char. They were easily able to navigate the dietary restrictions and allergies of all our guests. I did not have to worry about them once on the day of the wedding which is so important. I find their prices to be extremely reasonable. And of course, their shasta trailer brings the VIBES. (I even heard a story about how a "pizza man" helped our friend to his camper after drinking too much tequila and falling flat on his face- I mean, talk about going above and beyond.)
