There are only a few specialized bike shops around this area so someone is bound to have that one part or item you are looking for and today the winner is Outspokin Bicycles. Did not really look at the bikes too much because I was on a mission to find some safety lights to ride and be seen. The accessory selection was sparse and they had an older version of the ION front safety light, but a friend of mine who rides Road Bikes tells me this is where they shine. I will take there word for it because I quickly glanced at a few bikes and they were soooo beautiful and elegant! I was like WOW, then I saw some of the price tags and I was like W O W!!! Do not be discouraged though because they have a selection for everyone. Being transparent, I am a MTBer but if I ever decide to take that plunge, I would stop by here for a bike fitting. read more

Just recently I purchased a blinking light for my bike - they recommended not the most expensive one in stock but the one that actually fit my Felt stem and installed it with straps not In the package but from there vast supply cabinet - even doubled it up so it would not come off! read more

I brought my new electric bike (purchased online from Walmart) to Outspokin for a tune up after so-called professionals assembled it at home. My rear tire was out of round and my brakes were braking unevenly, making my bike ride a nightmare. I was wrestling with the handlebars to keep the bike from straying off course while listening to my brakes squeal on every revolution. Outspokin' did an awesome job! I picked my bike up today and rode it home to test it out. It rode like a dream with a smooth ride, no squealing, and no more tugging on the handlebars to keep my bike going straight. I was even able to let go of my handlebars and guide my bike by leaning my body! I am very pleased with the outcome. As far as I am concerned, Outspokin' has my business from now on. read more

My kiddo wrecked the new bike she received for Christmas and broke the break handle right off the handlebars. Checked out local reviews in our new area and decided upon Outspoken and so glad we did! Very professional and affordable service! Workmanship is fantastic and the new brake works WAY better than what originally came with the bike. They also fixed how the break lines were assembled as they were originally crossed and not assembled correctly. May need to come back and find a bike of my own! I was here looking around with my sister. I think she's looking to get her hubby a gift or purchase bikes for the family. The store entrance is located on the side of the building. The staff is nice and attentive. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. My sister had serious inquires, so I was watching my niece. They had plenty of bikes for children and my niece was obsessed with them. They offer helmets, seats, shoes, apparel, tires etc. This is a great place for a serious or novice biker. The pricing was reasonable. The parking was limited, but they don't have droves of people there at once, so it works. If I were to purchase a bike, I'd come back here because they had everything and a well versed staff. read more

I bought my bike in a month ago and was told that was a 2 week delay on working on it. Two weeks later had not heard anything. I call them and they said still had not started working on it. I come to the shop two weeks later a month from when I dropped it off. Nothing had been done to my bike so I picked up it up and took it home. Outspokin' has been my go-to bike shop for years. They've never oversold me on anything, even when I've tried to get them to... truly considerate of what your needs are. I've purchased a number of bikes from them, all with top-notch maintenance support. Most recently, I turned in my bike (bought used from a friend) for a rather last-minute tune-up for the Augusta Half Ironman. I'm glad I did! The bike had never run smoother than it did for that important race. Additionally, I think that Outspokin' runs one of the most considerate group rides around. They are truly supportive to new riders. My wife has even started joining me on rides. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have such a great bike shop so close to us. read more

Great shop and highly recommend for anyone from novice just getting started to your seasoned off-road or road warrior. I recently traveled to Augusta for work and wanted to bring my bike with me. I did a simple web search, found Outspokin', made a call and immediately felt comfortable with the team there. I shipped my bike there, assembled it and spoke with the team there and got all the details on the Augusta cycling scene to include invitations to the weekend group ride as well as week day/night indoor and road rides. This is one of 3 top-notch local bike shops for the Augusta area. If you are looking to get into road cycling, I would probably recommend this place over the other stores. They have a huge selection, a great group of folks working the desk/floor, and (at least in my experience) a very pleasant, friendly clientele base wandering the store. They set up a regular ride (weekly, I think) for all the roadies, and I don't think you could find a more warm, inviting atmosphere to get into the sport. read more

WARNING:: DISHONEST & SHADY BUSINESS REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU:: The owner himself of Outspokin, Brett Ardrey shamelessly & smugly admits he does not care about good customer service which he proved true after my mistake of choosing Outspokin to make 3 very minor repairs to my bike. After picking up my bike 2 days later than when I was told it would be done, I discover only 2 of the 3 problems were repaired. AND Outspokin charged me almost double the cost than the price I was quoted when I brought it in. They had to keep my bike an additional 2 days to complete the half-effort job performance that should have been finished the first time, and then slapped me with an additional $20 labor fee which I had already paid for the first time. How much sense does it make to charge the customer 2 labor charges for their shameless labor negligence on my initial order? And they help themselves to replace old equipment with new overpriced equipment without asking first. They are crooks who won't take their responsibility; thus, impossible to reason with. Brett always had a distorted convenient answer for any/everything reasonable... Like he's got experience with these similar disputes he's obviously faced before. This is very bad business. "The customer is always right" falls on deaf ears at Outspokin. I should have chosen Andy Jordan, and I will from now on. read more

we came from out of town for IM GA and had a mechanical problem the day before race.... I bought a bike from them a few years back and was pretty satisfied all around with the product, their service, and just all around friendliness. Unfortunately the last bike I bought was from the other bike store and what a mistake that was. I still am finding myself at Outspokin for my bike parts. The next bike I buy and all my parts will be from Outspokin. When I needed just one crank bolt, and the other store didn't have one in stock, the guy at Outspokin gave me one and I was back on the trail that same day. read more
