This place is one of those gems you don't expect much from, but it delivers. I tried a couple pupusas and some tacos, and honestly, everything was solid. The pupusas had that nice crispy outside with a soft, cheesy center, and they didn't feel overly greasy like some spots. The tacos were simple but done right, good flavor, fresh toppings, and decent portions. What stood out most was the price. You can get a full plate like this without feeling like you just got robbed, which is rare now. It's not trying to be trendy or over the top, just consistently good food that hits the spot. I am so happy they now have seating. We usually get sweets to go. (Cinnamon buns for DH and Guava and cheese stick for me) but we were fortunate to be able to take time and eat a meal there recently. The food is absolutely delicious. DH opted for the breakfast platter, (he said it was yummy!) and I had chicken soup and a monte christo. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The little place has something big going one! Walk in and you face two showcase full of a amazing pastries! I can tell you get all of them! I ordered about 20 or so and took them home to my family and guest and we all were over- the - top Impressed. Delicious and beautiful. While I was there, I watched some breakfasts going out to the few of the seats in the tiny place and they looked incredible. Quite the Spanish food menu! I talked to the man that owned the place. This place is a little New London secret. If you know you know. Food is Spanish style flavorful and always comes out nice and hot I recommend the Cubano one of my favorites. Service it helps if you speak Spanish but they do have English speaking employees. Ambiance its a small establishment with tables to eat at if you choose but most locals grab and go enjoy at home. read more

Incredibly authentic! By the name you don't expect this to be more than a bakery but their food is just as amazing as their baked goods!! Amazing prices too. The tacos are so authentic I feel like im back in Arizona at a taco truck! I cant find tacos like this anywhere else. And they are loaded! Their breakfast burritos and plates are also incredible. Everything is so flavorful and you can tell they really care about their food. So the baked goods, WOW! So fresh and amazing. I cant find baked goods like this anywhere else. Pastries are old, when melted they reapply sugar on them. They are not fresh as they claim them to be. The lady owner is very arrogant when asked if the pastries are fresh now I know why she turns her face. The place looks decent. But just because you're the owner please do not give people old food. You can get them sick if you did not know this. Their baked bread seems to use a lot of flour the next day the bread is always hard as a rock. I would not recommend this bakery. I do not know of other foods they sell here, for I have not tried them. I think I would be afraid to try anything else. The good reviews seem more of the same employees that work there or owners. read more

COME HERE! This's one of those restaurants that's filled with people from the culture of the food that's served because it's as good as they can get back home. The deserts are just as good as the entrees, they had the best tres leches I've had in a min. The owners are super nice as well. read more

We ordered burritos and could see them chopping the ingredients and cooking the meat fresh. The burritos were the best I've had since moving to CT. They also had a very good supply of baked goods that all looked tasty. We got the cinnamon roll and enjoyed it a lot.
