I am obsessed with OverGreens! It is one of my favorite takeout and remote work places on Myrtle Ave. I deeply enjoy salad and used to be very disappointed that there was only one good salad spot on Myrtle Ave that closes at 4 pm. Where does one go when they want salad for dinner?! In comes OverGreens opening and I have yet to stop going. Not only do they have great salad and rice bowls, but they also have great paninis, juices, and prepackaged baked goods. Also, the staff members are so kind and usually remember my order or that I forgot to bring my salad stamp card (again) lol. I've spent many days working remote from here and the energy there is always good. Great music playing, good food, and great service from morning to night! read more

I really enjoy Overgreens. Its a top tier salad and juice bar. They have lots of salad, grain, and topping options, the ingredients are fresh, a good variety of proteins and premium add ons and bunch of generic dressings. The prices are pretty reasonable and the service is quick and friendly. Its large and spacious with lots of light and handful of table if you want to dine in or work from the space and its open pretty late (9pm) for a salad and juice place. They really do a great job all around. They make it easy to eat healthy. read more

It's alright. The salad bar part is just like sweet green, except they've got 4 kinds of chicken. The "basic" one still has seasoning on it, kind of orange-y, but they pack so much (like double scoop). The bread that comes with the soups and on the sandwiches is plain and kind of flavorless. But the salmon sandwich is a solid deal (~$11) and is decent, and the lentil soup is so smooth, delicious and will fill you for the day. So it's a hit or miss! Since Overgreens has a customizable and huge menu I would return but maybe try something else. read more

Just went to overgreens for a quick lunch, I got the overgreen salad which is Kale, wild rice, sweet potato, goat cheese, apple and balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was ok, something about the dressing tasted a bit off and my tongue feels...itchy? When I was watching the employee make the salad as she mixed it she launched some of the ingredients (a Kale piece and what I think was an almond) into the goat cheese container on the salad bar which makes me very concerned about cross contamination. I know they have açaí bowls that have coconut (which I am quite allergic to) and the careless mixing of ingredients makes me really worried about cross contamination with allergies. Employee service was also very flat and rather unwelcoming like they were constantly irritated, perhaps they just had a lunch rush and were stressed? Regardless, I have no intention of going back. read more

Great addition to the neighborhood for light healthy lunch options! Tons of juices and smoothies, all customizable without an up charge. Ive been adding ginger and lemon to the #13 green juice option. A massive build your own salad bar that is fresher and cheaper than Sweetgreen or other larger salad chain options, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The whole place is wide open with large windows and everything is impeccably clean. Tables inside for dining in, but also packed well in containers if you are looking to carry-out. I've been stopping by a couple of times a week for the past month and a half and things have stayed consistent, from the positive interactions with staff, to the quality of the food and juice/smoothie bar ingredients. If you are searching for a healthy lunch spot, I'd highly recommend making your way over here. read more

Was hoping to love this place! They had a BOGO deal on Uber Eats, I got 2 chicken bowls and 2 raspberry, banana and apple juices for the price of one. The juices they sent over were gross - brown and separated. Given that the juices were clearly old, Couldn't trust the bowls either so I just threw it all out. read more

I'm really happy that this place has opened up on Myrtle Avenue, as a person has been working in Brooklyn for a little over a year now, I'm always constantly complaining about how there aren't enough, healthy options, and healthy options that are actually edible and good. This place opened and I can pretty much say that I come here at least three times a week for lunch, It's excellent, and the staff are extremely nice and always make really good recommendations and adjustments, and I have brought about four different coworkers to have lunch here with me because it's not good. My favorite place for smoothies, salads, panini's, lentil soup, you name it. This place is awesome and I highly recommend all to come here and that says a lot coming from me because I tend to be a very harsh critic about food in Brooklyn all the time lol. read more

Overgreens is really a great place to get a tasty smoothie and maybe a quick bite to eat. I go to Overgreens almost every other day to get a smoothie. I'm a student at Pratt, and I'm pretty reliant on the school's dining hall for food, but often I find I don't enjoy the healthy options offered at my school, so I like going to Overgreens to get a smoothie with a blend of greens and nuts so I get my proteins and veggies it's also very delicious! I love the Roasted Almond smoothie in particular with a bit of added spinach! The staff is also very kind, and always gives me a nice hello when I come in! Pratt students in particular can get a 15% discount I believe (it might be 10% but I think it's 15%), so I definitely recommend this place for Pratt students. Overgreens is also decorated really well and has some nice tropical vibes with a modern twist when you walk in. There are little wooden tables to eat at inside. Overall, I really love Overgreens and this is a business that deserves some love, so please try it out! read more
