They were always reactive on replying within hours to my messages on their portal, proactive on contacting me the before to let me know what time I would want them to do the service, and efficient on completing their service in a timely manner. I have never been impressed with most pest control places, mostly because spider web removal for those of us in the country is a top priority. I had tried other local pest controllers but the job always seemed half done. After a yellow jacket problem that I just couldn't control I noticed Peace of mind across the street at my neighbors. They were really getting the webs and I was shocked! I gave them a call and they came right out, they did their first treatment and it made a tremendous difference right away with our yellow jacket issue. They also got ALL of the webs. I honestly felt like David treated my home as if it were his own, this was also during a terrible heat wave and the weather was miserable. It did not affect the quality of his job. He was very friendly even offering my dogs a biscuit which i thought was very nice. (Now my dogs love him more than us!) Beware! We feel so ripped off! We were all naive to think POM was trust worthy! It has not been 2 years since we hired them to do a home inspection, in which they found $9,726 worth of "repairs needed." Super expensive but since we wanted to ensure the work was done good we trusted them... within a year the leak in a bathroom shower was leaking again! And now the dry rot roof they "fixed" is rotten! Poorly primed, leaking, and rotten again and just found out they applied a 0 yr warrant on their repair! Wonder why?!?! Friends expensive isn't better. Unfortunately they found subterranean termites, as well as a laundry list of other issues that I would have never found. I scheduled termite treatment with them. Steve arrived on time, knocked out all of the concrete drilling and treatment, cleaned up the mess and left the house key in the mail box just as instructed. Before moving into a rental, the inspector told me the house was clear of cockroaches and he moved the big appliances to double check and he saw nothing! He was so confident in his work and I even told him I was going to bring my own inspector to double check. I'm so glad I did! There were cockroaches everywhere, dead and alive! My inspector moved the stove and there was a sticky pad full of roaches. Some were alive crawling around them! I was so disgusted! The fact that my inspector told me the stove was hard to move from the grease shows us that the stove was never moved after they put the pad under it. I called the manager and sent them photos of what we saw. We didn't move in after all. I wouldn't use them!! read more

Unfortunately we had multiple problems with the inspector today. Since there was so many problems I will put them in a list: 1.) Was rude to my wife and very standoffish. 2.) moved the refrigerator and scuffed the floors. 3.) when my wife questioned the moving of the fridge the tech informed her to just let him do his job. 4.) Started the dishwasher full of dishes that were clean without asking. Then did not just run for 5 or 10 minutes but let it go through a whole cycle without soap causing us to have to rewash. 5.)Turned the power off to the whole house without informing us...this made multiple problems. a.) My server that people were using for work went down. this effected multiple people and lost hundreds of dollars for us. I fielded e mails for hours about it. b.) Took my sons computer down while he was working on a major computing project, my son had to work for a few hours to recover the non saved files. c.) Took the fish pond power out. We have expensive fish that require aeration to live. The the tech left the pond off. My wife caught it when she got home and we had some expensive fish die. d.) Required me to reset multiple electronic projects for work that cannot be restarted with me out of town causing me to lose hours and money. 6.) The tech moved garden tools and brooms and left them in the middle of the sidewalk not returning them to their place. 7.) The tech moved our garbage cans leaving them in the middle of the backyard and not returning them to their location. 8.) The tech asked my wife to open the garage door with the power off. my wife informed him the power was of and he demanded she open it manually inside. That is his job not ours. 9.) The tech was condescending and talked down to my wife which us incredibly unprofessional and out of line. 10.) The tech ran the Microwave empty for a long amount of time which is very bad for the magneto. 11.) When the power came back on they burned out one of my flat screen TV's Picture, now it turns on with a black screen. 12.) The Tech kicked shingles on the house out and took a picture then returned them to their original spot. 13.) They turned off power to my house that since the oven said P1 for power outage they said the display didn't work, can this technician read, all he had to do was set the clock ? 14.) I have a Low Voltage plug out back for yard lights that is labeled Low voltage, The tech said it does not have 120v and flagged it, I don't think he could read. 15.) they put in a pest report that started with a tiny area from the first tech, then without returning now it is whole house inclusive, and of course they quoted to fix. I would not let this company back on my property if it was on fire and they had the firetruck. read more

We had an offer on a home in Modesto from first time homebuyers. They were completely scared off by The POM advisor. IN our opinion, they lied about the condition of the home. The inspector noted that the roof needed replacing and since he isn't a roofer, this was completely outside his area of expertise. The roof inspection done by a certified roofer cleared the roof.. Then he said we had a leak in the walls because of some minor wall damage next to the bathtub which is very common and easily fixable. I have used them for several years now. They do a very good job. I like that they call you the night to remind you that they will be there the next day. I have 2 dogs and whoever comes out always picks up their toys and water bowls before they spray.
