VERY frustrated with the "service" I received. I was too trusting going into buying my first home and relying on the home inspection report and the inspector to be thorough. He only "visually inspects the operation" (per his contract) and does not actually test the components to make sure they are functioning properly. I relied on his report and then after moving in found out 5 electrical panel breakers were bad and 1 wire had incorrect sizing. He stated on his report they were "no visual issues" and "correct wire size per breaker" - both which were false!! (See photo) This cost me $2,811 in repairs. The second issue I had was with the HVAC not reaching temperature. He told me it was operating as expected and a couple of degrees off was not a big deal and I didn't need to worry about it. I TRUSTED him (big mistake!!) and now I am paying the price (~$16,000) to replace it, as it is indeed a BIG deal to have an HVAC unit that is half the size it should be. Before getting the repairs done, I reached out to him and he told me if there were any issues to "give him a chance to correct it before someone else makes repairs". So I reached out to him about the HVAC gas leak before I had any repairs done and then he responded saying he noted it didn't make temperature and he suggested having service done, but he would not help me try to correct the issue like he previously stated.

We had to scramble after business hours to get a roofing inspector out the next morning so we could have all inspection reports before the end of our option period. It caused us a lot of stress and frustration. I reached out to CKA Home Inspections after the fact and they just stopped replying to my emails. Very unprofessional. If they had communicated before the inspection or even once they got to the property that they were unable to inspect the roof, then we would have had more time to get someone out to inspect the roof. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Very disappointed especially with their lack of accountability and ghosting us after the fact.

He helped us install a transfer switch and exterior inlet plug for our generator so we can safely power our home during outages, and also rewired several breakers to create a dedicated group of emergency-use circuits that the generator would run. The level of knowledge and care he brought to this project was exceptional. Justin was very generous with his vast knowledge in the area. He took the time to thoroughly explain not just what he was installing, but why, and went above and beyond by educating us on generator best practices, including important dos and don'ts for safe operation. I definitely felt much more confident in my ability to keep our house running for my family than I did prior. He was also extremely friendly, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Scheduling was simple, he was very accommodating to our availability, and his work was fast yet meticulous. He ran multiple dry runs with our generator to ensure every targeted breaker was functioning properly, and even took the panel back off to include an additional circuit I initially didn't think would be necessary, but ultimately agreed was important for emergency situations. About half of the primary toilet tile grouting is not present. Erosion under the driveway, needs reinforcement. He caused me a lot of problems, stress, and cost me money.
