Los Angeles really needs more public gardens like this especially with the global elite trying to…read morekill us off with GMO foods. I've heard about these type of community gardens in places like New York city and always thought they were a great idea and wondered how it worked. Then after moving to Hollywood and being on our district neighborhood council, one of the board members actually founded this particular community garden and we happened to have our Candidate Meet & Greet for the HSDNC and I attended since I'm running for a board seat in the upcoming election. It's a great area where people can rent a plot for $10 a month and grow their choice of organic fruits and vegetables. They also have community trees like lemons, pomegranates, and such where the members could grab whatever they needed. As we were meeting, one of the gardeners who joined us had two artichokes in her hands. I bet it tastes awesome! My step-father had been a strawberry farmer in Ventura County and he still grows all kinds of vegetables and fruits in his backyard, so I've tasted first-hand the difference in eating freshly grown and picked vegetables and fruits. Such a noticeable difference! They offer instruction on how to grow different types of vegetables and fruits and how best to tend your crops. I've always wanted to learn to grow my own produce so hopefully, I'll be able to get in although I heard there is a waiting list but we'll see if my colleague can pull some strings for me ; )

They abuse trees (photo below of 3-21-26 "tree trimming") and are about as authentic as all the non-existant fountains on Fountain Avenue that were promised in the 1888 real estate developers' self promotional maps, but, of course, that were never delivered. Avoid an autocratically, arbitrarily, and capriciously governed "community" that holds its leaders to be above the rules, lacks due process, has inconsistent rule enforcement - including having a vaguely writtien "morality" rule that can only be subjectively interpreted. Steer clear of a "community" where inclusive voting is promised, but is seldom the way that major group decisons are actually made - the greenwashed "community" it will be able to offer is about as real as the astroturf... Instead of this Los Angeles Community Garden Council mismanaged community garden, until corrections are made, explore a home hydroponic garden and/or a Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust Community Garden https://www.lanlt.org/projects/category/Community+Garden

They did a retaining wall and hillside plantings at our home in Pasadena. The wall is absolutely perfect. The workers showed up on time every day. They clean up after themselves. The plant selections were well thought out and low water, low maintenance, won't deteriorate our hillside, and the deer and rabbits so far are not eating the plants...yippee! I won't tell you they were inexpensive- It was not an easy decision to hire them. However, I feel like we got a great value for the level of service they provide- which i'd refer to as absolutely spectacular. I love looking at our beautiful hillside and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

The driver was a blonde white looking guy in your company car. He got really angry, changed his lane in front of me honked and turned on his windhield wipers on purpose to get the water on my car. Then when i passed him, he was screaming and acting crazy. What a coward. This is the kind of loser you hire to work for you. I wonder how they treat customers in person. This was on the 210 East bound freeway around 10:50am on July 1st. That's around Tujunga, going towards the 2 Fwy, GLendale.
