Walked in and was warmly greeted! We sat at the "lovers table"! Food was great! Ambiance was fun! Loved the charm! Super friendly staff!

My sister ordered just a simple French toast with bananas. I got the Greek Benedict, it was my first time having eggs Benedict The sauce had a rich taste, it was neutral for me. Wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest, just not used to it. The service was friendly and good. Would return to try other items on the menu.

I would call this a hidden gem but everyone on the north shore knows about it! We waited about 10 mins to be seated and from there our server was AMAZING! The vibe is a retro diner that give the nostalgia you need! We spent about $76 total items range from $8-$15 on the breakfast side ! I will definitely be back

Pure American diner. My fav type of dining.

I went looking for a Americana diner and I found a good one in Owl Diner. When you first arrive it's like your in a scene from a Marvel movie because the exterior looks like the diner the Avengers eat at in the extra scene of The movie. The interior is pure Americana. It looks small from outside but there is actually more seating then what it looks like. They have a good amount of choices especially in the omelet section of the menu. We decided to share in the corned beef hash breakfast and a blueberry short stack. Both was really good. The corned beef hash is seasoned perfectly and the eggs and home fried potatoes were fluffy and flavorful. The pancakes were good and not dry like what was in a earlier review. Another diner to add to our return list.

Been coming for years, as soon as you sit down, they bring you coffee. They enhance the can hash. They have a long list of omelettes. Gluten Free and Keto friendly. All delicious and a friendly place.

Cool diner with a long local history. There's a incredibly long list of possible omelets though to be frank everything is basically your standard diner fare. I had a breakfast wrap that was okay, with a side of home fries that were quite good. Service is friendly and clearly it's a community favorite. It was a hop and a skip over from the commuter rail, which made it quite convenient for me.

It's a diner. They have excellent breakfast food and service at excellent prices. Get the Hungry Owl.

Deliciously gooey hash and cheese omelette

Like I have died and gone to breakfast food heaven. Breakfast potatoes were delicious, great diner coffee, and a perfect sized omelet.

Tasty food, great prices, in an old dinner car from yesterday. My wife and I both ate a full breakfast for 20 bucks. Can't beat that.

A good Sunday Morning greasy spoon. The only problem is the cash only policy. It's the 21st century, download a credit card app.

Decent array of offerings. Friendly server. -- Build your Own Omelette: This was my wife's order. Seemed small compared with recent omelette plates elsewhere. She liked it but found it and the accompanying hash browns (homefries are the other option) very plain. Solid enough. -- Pancakes and Sausage: Stack of three, no browning, more of a Twinkie color, and-- come to think of it-- Twinkie flavor. A little dry, needing the syrup. I upgraded to a mini bottle of real maple syrup for $3.99. My wife noticed that the cap had previously been opened and it was refilled. Not a big deal for me, but for those who care, now you know. Ordinary pancakes, but got the job done. The quartet of sausage links were thin but perfectly cooked. No real wow factor, but no real complaints. An adequate breakfast; adequate gets a 3. If I'm comparing it against Rosco's Diner around the corner, I give the food edge to Rosco, the value edge to Rosco, the convenience edge to Doty, and the service fairly even. As for the atmosphere: in Rosco's favor if you don't mind conservative news in the background, and in Doty's favor if you do.
