Stained sheets, black mold on the bathroom walls, and I quote " if you have spiders in your room let us know. They are coming up through the vents." The pool isnt fit to swim in. You would think an indoor pool would smell like chlorine. It didnt at all. It smelled musty. The walls were crumbling. Perhaps the worst was when the "cleaning" lady offered a child a muffin while still in gloves. Like medical gloves. When I asked for new sheets, I was told they are clean just stained. Some people dont understand that.

It was already hot outside, I didn't want to be in a warm indoor pool. The only reason why I'm giving a rating of 3 stars is because of two complaints. The walls were too damn thin. We could hear the people next to us very clearly! Thankfully there wasn't anything intimate going on, but there was a party happening, and it was just too loud - not the music, it was the voices! We were in room 223, so thankfully we were near to the elevators. We didn't even hear when people were out by the elevators, but I could clearly hear the guests next to us. Secondly, the bathroom includes bath/shower products plus hand soap and lotion, which is a plus, because that's provided less thing to pack. However, the toilet was too low! My 70-year old mother and I are both 5'4. She recently had knee and hip surgery, so she decided to squat over the toilet. I sat but hurt my knees using the toilet. Thankfully, my husband didn't come. He's 6'4, he would have had a very hard time. They need to install bars next to the toilet. Also the tub floor was slippery - again, mother with recent hip and knee surgery... that was not good!

She makes different dishes each day of your stay based on your preferences she obtains when you book your trip. The food is always fresh, mostly from their own garden. I can't even describe how amazing our whole experience was. The house is located very near many townships but it is so quiet and peaceful tucked away on a nice plot of acreage. The yard is massive and landscaped so beautifully. The minute you arrive, everything is just perfect down to every detail. I recommend booking early and request the bedroom with en suite bathroom. The king size bed is so comfortable and the linens / towels are 5 star hotel quality! The house has a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the yard with shade cover. The staff seemed hard working, and the breakfast was better than we expected. On our third day staying at the hotel, my partner noticed some itchy insect bites. The next night, as she was falling asleep, she saw an adult bed bug crawling on the bed right near her face. After we captured it, we soon found and captured another adult. We handed a bag with both insects, alive, to the front desk. The hotel, to their credit, gave us another room to stay in for our final night. I wrote Best Western corporate asking for a refund. They referred me to the local franchise. The local person claimed that they had not discovered any other evidence of the bugs and refused our request. Lame.
