Connersville has a really nice park that has something for everyone. Whether you like swimming,…read morebasketball, pickleball, tennis, or horseshoes, they have a place for it at Roberts Park. If you like watching your kids play on a variety of swings, slides, and climbing equipment scattered throughout the park, the have those here too! The park is a mature park with lots of shade trees that are greatly appreciated on days like the one I visited here. There are narrow roads that meander through the park since the place is quite large. On the south end near the aquatic center, there is an amphitheater for racing and some barns near there. I didn't see any horses during my visit, but I assume that the barns and track are for those. Must be a seasonal thing like the swimming and water slides. The park also has the Longwood Covered Bridge which was relocated here for preservation. There are a couple sculptures and a few plaques to commemorate bits of history tied to the park & Connersville. Generally, there are a lot of options for individuals. The only reason I didn't give this a five star review is that the park looks like it could use some attention. The tennis courts has cracks that have been sealed, but the scraggly white lines should have been painted over to match the court. Very distracting. Some of the older playground equipment could used a fresh coat of paint too. The garden area by the park admin building was in need of some trimming and the brick around the fountain could stand some work too. Little things, but they do separate an older park from one that has the latest features. A wish list would be a walking trail separate from the roads. I don't like having to continuously watch over my shoulder for vehicles coming up behind me, or having to walk through the grass when it's wet from dew. We had a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party. Apparently we weren't the only ones because we saw…read moreseveral different bachelor parties throughout the day. So in addition to birthdays, this is a good place for groups. There are quite a number of different courses and course types. Some smaller with limited cover, a larger one complete with plywood buildings, and ones in the woods. The package we got allowed for all day, any course. So we tried them all. My favorites were the ones in the woods and the one with buildings. But definitely try them all, why not. My most helpful tip would be to get the mid-priced sniper gun. Some of us got the cheapest gun and others got the most expensive automatic gun. The cheapest had poor accuracy. The automatic had the same short barrel so its accuracy wasn't any better plus it goes through ammo much quicker. After a few rounds, I paid the extra $5 to upgrade to the sniper which gave much better results (all they do is screw on a longer barrel). Our ref was pretty laid back. He even led us to an open field and let us play "civil war re-enactment" where we stood in 2 lines 20 paces from each other and took one shot at the other line. If you didn't get hit, you took a step closer and did it again until no one was left. This was fine until I got shot directly on the nipple from about 10 yards away... not pleasant. There isn't really much in terms of food. So if you plan on staying all day, pack something. Also, as with every day this summer, we went when it was a million degrees out. They sell sports drinks but also had a free water cooler for everyone. But I've rambled enough. For $35 (again, go with the sniper upgrade), I'd say it was a good time. Just try not to get shot on the nipple!

Decent and well kept club…read more I have only golfed here once and really enjoyed myself. Nice quiet course. Not too difficult but, then again, I am extremely amateur. Well kept green's, fairways and overall a very clean course. I've been there several times to use the driving range and also their putting course. The driving range is set up nicely right near the parking lot. Go inside of the pro shop and grab a jumbo bucket of balls for $10 head back out and hit 'em straight. Once you've worked on your drive, chipshots, wedges, irons and woods, walk over to the putting green courses. There are 2 putting green courses. Each one of them has about 5 holes, or flag's, to shoot at. Good angles, hills and curves. Probably one of the best putting green practice courses I've ever been to. Would I go back? Absolutely! If not for anything else, they have a nice and well kept driving range along with two great putting courses.

People were parking on the grass. I asked Chris about it and she said she should probably have told my granddaughter about it. PROBABLY!!!. Chris said my granddaughter really wanted that day. The was not true. My granddaughter, Cassie, wanted a day in October. They booked a day in October and when Cassie went to tour the facility, Chris told her she gave that day away to someone else. Golfers were walking through the wedding area. Some of the guests went home because they could not find a place to park. Food and beverages were paid for guests that could no even get in the building. As long as Chris is in charge I would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe if we were members of the golf club we would have been treated better???

They have 4-5 coaches on the field but only seem to notice that the kids don't know what's going on. Only tell one or two kids what to do then letting the other kids struggle. Maybe for adults it's more organized, but it's definitely not a place for kids. Between the adults drinking a ridiculous amount of alcohol in a little amount of time then proceeding to drive home with their kids. They pick and choose what people can have "extra" people in there even though it is supposed to be a limit of 1 person per player.
