It's a no for me! First let me just say that the service provided by this team was just fine. When I called to make an appointment, the young lady was very helpful and so was Noah, the young man who cleaned my carpet. Noah sent a text the morning of to make sure we were still on, arrived on time and was overall wonderful. We talked about certain stains. If he felt a stain may be an issue, he let me know in the beginning. All went well. I'll be honest. I didn't do my research well enough. This is not a hot water extraction carpet cleaning service. I knew that coming in but I did expect a little more water than what was used. But hey, it's a green company. I'm doing the environment a favor right?! Yea...no I just should have gone with my gut. My high traffice area, still looks like my high traffic area. My couch still has its original stains. In Noah's defense, he did ask if I wanted to continue cleaning after advising that he didn't think he'd be able to get all the stains out. To which I told him...well at least it will be somewhat clean and smell fresh, so go for it. I wanted to really believe that it would have some sort of improvement so I was okay with taking the chance. Problem is...none of the stains came out of the couch. I have honestly cleaned this couch with upholestry cleaner and a cloth WAYYYY better than this but I really didn't feel up to it so thought I'd just hire someone. I'm not upset with the company because I took the chance even after being a bit skeptical. Disappointed though....I absolutely am. It's hard for me to understand how there was literally no improvement in the couch. A few of the stains were removed in the carpet but there weren't really many "stains" from the start. It was just more of just the look of dirt from high traffic. Again, hard to understand how OxiFresh's process did NOTHING. So if you are on the fence, my personal experience would suggest to look other places. This was an unfortunate waste of $450. Find a company that actually uses water maybe. read more

Bottom Line: Overall, competitive pricing for a green carpet cleaning but there are better values out there if you shop it since the Yelp deal cannot be combined with other deals. Please be sure to purchase the Yelp deal with caution. I really wanted to give Oxi Fresh of Greater Edgewater a chance but when I called to get a quote and to schedule an appointment for five bedrooms, a hall, a walk in closet and an area rug I was told that I could not use the current Yelp deal ($80 for $100 of service) along with the current Whole House Special (5 rooms for $168). I had wanted to appeal this to the owner's to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding but couldn't find a way to contact the local Edgewater franchise directly. (Its unclear to me if the person I spoke with was a general operator for Oxi Fresh or a direct employee of the Edgewater franchise.) Also, the Yelp page says, "Mention Yelp for exclusive deals" but none of those existed according to the operator. Since deals cannot be combined, this service was going to cost me $266 but I was able to find a better deal from their top, reputable competitor who also uses very little water and green cleaning products. If I do find myself using Oxi Fresh in the future, I will update my review accordingly. read more

I called this company for a carpet clean, basement & steps, but I left a little disappointed. Their website advise of coupon. I was asked to give a number to use the coupon. I told the young lady I wasn't able to find it. She said I need the #. I said to her thats ok I'll contact another business. She said ok. Why would a company just give away business like that over not having a number for a coupon? Business must be good to turn away prospective clients. This guy was great! We needed three large stains from dogs to be removed on our new carpet. He came out the same day and completed everything efficiently. Once it dried we noticed that the stains in one room were still present. We called them and he came back out the next day with a premixed solution and completely got rid of the stains. No extra cost and was happy to do it for us. Would highly recommend this company!! read more

I am more than thrilled!!! My cream colored carpets needed cleaned months ago. After some research I decided to try Oxi Fresh. Three reasons: The price was good...I had a coupon, they are a green company, and they use 95% less water hence the carpets wont be soaked. The initial phone call for a reservation went smoothly. The person on the phone was very polite and she found me the time frame I needed. The carpets looked amazing. Stains that I thought were permanent came right out! The carpets were completely dry within an hour. The other companies would soak my carpets and it would take hours to dry. Oh, they have this cool calculator on their website that showed me just how much water was saved using their technique versus the "other" companies. Actually, I learned a lot from their website. I got my coupon on the site as well. I am so impressed how great my carpets look and how professional the tech was. I highly recommend this company to anyone. You wont be disappointed. read more

I love Oxi Fresh! I am so excited that there is a branch in the Edgewater area now. I called to make an appointment and the person I spoke to was polite and professional. They were very accommodating to my schedule and I was able to get a quote and book my cleaning right away. I have a cat and two little children and I the reason I wanted to use Oxi Fresh is because they are green. I have used other carpet cleaning companies before and I didn't like the sticky residue and smell that their chemicals left behind. (Plus, who wants their kids rolling around on chemicals? Not this girl.) Our technician came out on the big day and was knowledgeable and polite. I was pleasantly shocked by how quiet and clean their machines are compared to other carpet cleaners I had in the past. My carpets look amazing, they smell great, and get this... I left for lunch, and by the time I got back, my carpets were already dry...that is unheard of. AWESOME! These guys are amazing. They were on time...in fact s few minutes early. Very professional. They wore booties to keep their shoes off my carpet. I am just amazed at how much they were able to get done. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats...and 3 young nieces that visit a few times a week. Needless to say my carpets were in dire need of a clean. The carpets came out looking awesome. Dries quickly. Is safe for my pets and the tiny humans. Definitely a great Eco-friendly company. Great pricing as well. They have my business for life! The carpet cleaning is quick and easy but you still have to pre-vaccuum. That's the sad part.

I had Oxi Fresh clean my carpet on 3/31/18. Their machine left marks in my carpet from the brushes brushing so hard it wore the carpet in spots. My complaint has received a remark from the man who did the job that he never had this problem. He said he would come out to look but he never did. I left messages for the owner to call but he didn't and the person answering the phone would not give me his number. I did receive a call on 4/5 and a representative came by on the 6th. He explained that if the brushes they use for commercial work were in the machine it could do damage. He called the operator who said he did not use the commercial brushes so to him there is no damage and the carpet looks fine. Yet, the very act of calling the operator in my mind would show he did see damage. So, they are going to tear up my check. End of it. See ya later. read more

I just had my carpets cleaned for the second time by OxiFresh and they look amazing! Not only was Mike able to clean the mess made by my poor sick dog, but he was able to remove all of the old stains too! My carpets look amazing! After almost a week the carpets still look great! None of the old stains reappeared like some of the other cleaners! So happy that there is finally a carpet cleaning company that truly cleans the carpets and makes them look brand new! Wish I had called these guys six months ago! We thought our six year old carpets were ruined (multiple nasty, old pet stains that we hadn't been able to get out despite much effort), but decided to have them cleaned just in case. I called on a Friday afternoon and Mike arrived promptly at 9am the next morning. By noon, my carpets looked *new* again and they were well on their way to fully dry. Mike put extra time into the tough spots and everything looks absolutely fabulous now. No hassle, reasonable prices, and excellent work. I was very impressed with Oxi Fresh (Mike specifically) and the system they use. This is a very dry way to have your carpets cleaned. They spray it with the Oxi fresh solution and then run the agitation machine that cleans it deep down. Then they just vacuum up and it's done. I had scheduled OxiFresh to come out and clean our carpets last Saturday, June 17. I made the appointment a good month before in May, and was told by the woman who answered the phone and made the appointment that "Christopher" would be there promptly at 10:00 am on June 17th. I called the Friday before to confirm that he would in fact be out the next morning, and was told by another person that I was "on the schedule." My husband and I got up early Saturday morning, removed all items from the floors in our home as well as furniture, and by 10:20 am, I called to find out where Christopher was. I was told that it was his day off, and the person on the phone wasn't quite sure why I was scheduled with him in the first place and they had no one else to send out. We were having visitors arrive on Sunday, and here we were, the house torn apart and no Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaner coming to our home to do the job! I was VERY upset needless to say. The person who answered the phone Saturday morning was very professional and polite, but the person who made this appointment in the first place, along with the person who confirmed on Friday it was going to happen, should be spoken to about doing their job correctly. Luckily, we were able to get Stanley Steamer the very same day to come out and clean our carpets. They were prompt, professional and did a great job! I usually don't write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by my Oxifresh experience I felt the need to share. I was looking for a carpet cleaning company that does not use harsh chemicals. Oxifresh is a green company, the natural carpet cleaning solutions they use are biodegradable and organic. I have grandchildren who are sensitive & an older Lab who is very sensitive as well. My technician, Anthony, arrived on time. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to remove stubborn pet stains, on a berber carpet, that I had not been able to get out! The carpets were dry within an hour, with the exception of the stubborn pet stain areas which took about 2-3 hours to dry. This was explained to me beforehand, it was recommended I get the odor destroyer and stubborn stain remover and protectant (she's not getting any younger). My carpets look great!!! My grandkids were over the same evening and playing on my fresh clean carpets, with no sensitivity issues. I am very pleased with Oxifresh and will use their services again! read more
