The sauna doesn't get nearly as hot as it should (used to get to 185 degrees now only 145), the pool volleyball net has been broken since the middle of summer, and the cabanas were a mess the whole summer (cabana work wasn't complete until after the summer). The fire pit has been out of service since around February. Why didn't they fix the fire pit over the summer and do the cabanas in the winter? That would have been logical. Instead we had little shade over the summer and now it's getting cold and still no fire pit. These attached pictures show the ongoing neglect. Instead of prioritizing resident security or meaningful improvements, management spends their time obsessing over repainting parking lots, buildings, and replacing a cheap keyboard, meanwhile, multiple cars have been broken into and they refuse to install cameras above level 1 in the parking garage. Residents have made it clear that safety matters more than paint, but management doesn't seem to care. Some residents have reported too much attitude when complaining to the office. Multiple residents have reported roaches, but nothing was done, so they moved. The contractors they brought in for painting and power washing are damaging patios and make a mess, which shows management obviously went with the cheapest option, at residents' expense. There's no communication in the office - one person will tell you one thing, and another will say the opposite. For the amount of money paid here, it's unreasonable how many amenities are broken and how little urgency staff have to resolve them. You'd be better off paying less elsewhere with fewer amenities and save around $500 per month. Management should care about keeping their current residents and attracting new ones, and less about money.

My friends are always surprised when they find out the cost of by rent-- they all asume I pay a few hundred more. All my maintenance issues have been promptly taken care of. I've never had issues. All the staff I've interacted with have been polite and helpful. It is pet friendly, has two pools, and generally nice grounds.

The apartment manger attempted to overcharge me by 2,000$ and breaking the terms of my lease until after 3 weeks of emailing her to explain she is commuting a crime. Then after moving away grey star reaches out with the same charges. Now I have to fight grey star because they added additional fees after dropping the first fees because again they need more money. This place is pathetic they will attack your wallet at all cost. As far as living my building was roach infested. I told them right away and my response was "sorry". After reading reviews they've known about the issue for a while. Be prepared to pay every fee and avoid the property manger at all cost she treats her employees horribly, she is extremely rude. Verbally telling me as a nurse I should be able to email her during the business day even if I'm working (guess I thought my job was More important than it was) when I responded 1 business day late to her. FYI if your 60 day notice is late (from my experience) prepare for at least a 90% rent increase for ever day it's late. Read your contract too, if you were unaware your 60days was up then they did not properly inform you and you do not owe them that money. This is my honest review. I loved all the workers except for Diedra and the company as a whole is coming after your wallet and will take every cent they can in anyway they can.

Avoid Artessa - Great Front Desk, Terrible Property Management & Security…read more The only positive part of my experience living at Artessa has been the maintenance and front desk team, especially Moises and Andrea. They are consistently polite, understanding, and do their best to help whenever I reach out. Unfortunately, their great customer service cannot make up for the severe property management and safety issues throughout the community. The access gates and garage doors are constantly malfunctioning. The garage door often breaks down, leaving residents locked out of their own building, or staying unlocked and allowing unauthorized people to access the premises. Even worse, security is practically non-existent--I've seen three cars broken into with their glass completely shattered right inside the property. The parking garage is perpetually filthy, and the breezeways are dirty and covered in bird poop. Even when they pressure wash, the results are far from satisfactory. Walking through the property is unpleasant because irresponsible dog owners don't pick up after their pets, and the administration does nothing about it. What makes this even more disappointing is how management treats reliable tenants. I have always kept my unit in excellent condition, paid my rent responsibly every month as it should, and fully cooperated whenever maintenance needed access. When a leak from a neighboring unit impacted my apartment, I cooperated through 12 days of my kitchen being practically unusable while two industrial fans and a dehumidifier ran constantly--drastically increasing my electricity bill and limiting my freedom to meet online with my work colleagues (I work from home.) Despite my consistent track record as a model tenant, management showed zero flexibility or empathy when I faced a personal emergency and needed to break my lease early. They refused to allow me to hand over the apartment early without paying out the remaining two months, declined to reduce the early termination fee, and refused to even offer a credit for the excessive electricity used to fix the leak caused by another unit. It is frustrating to pay rent at a place that claims to be luxury apartments in a prime location when the grounds are unkept at times, vehicles are vulnerable to crime, and management offers zero support or goodwill to responsible residents in times of need. Unless management takes serious steps to repair the gates, secure the premises, and start treating good tenants fairly, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

It sits on the right side of the 10th hole of the Quarry golf course purse. Beautiful views but the golf ball hazards are real. Even when my apartment flooded, causing significant property damage to my own, I recall that staff or maintenance did not respond the following day. Subsequently, I was presented with a document from Janet in the office, which essentially stated that my apartment had never flooded. She had provided me with a different description of the purpose of the document, but it ultimately amounted to requesting me to claim that my apartment had never flooded, despite the fact that it had . She had deceived me and had to sign a document that was false. that wouldn't be the first time. The situation escalated when the maintenance staff and apartment associates disregarded my property rights by accessing my belongings without my permission. . A particularly egregious incident occurred when the maintenance/staff did not offer assistance to enter my apartment after I had locked myself out. However, when they wanted to gain entry themselves, they disregarded my changed locks and essentially broke into my apartment. I recall a specific incident where I had just left my apartment and, as I was about to go leave the gate , I noticed the maintenance staff entering as I was leaving. Within a matter of minutes, they had already reached my apartment. They explained that they were looking for something and cooling and heating wires in my unit, which I understood to be related to the time of year when I did not have a thermostat. It is concerning that many of the similar instances mentioned in previous reviews that have been removed from the platform. However, there are still numerous similar reviews available. I am not the first person to have experienced these issues, and I believe it is important to raise awareness about this matter. Despite events, these individuals persist in attempting to extract an excessive amount of money from me, even though I was paying more than the amount I had initially stated. The discrepancy between what I paid and what they collected remains unclear, and I am uncertain of their intentions. Nevertheless, they are attempting to charge me an additional 15,000.
