For almost three years, they've been treating my son for his braces, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Everyone is always so professional, kind, and welcoming. The front office always tries their best to work around the office busy schedule to accommodate you. Back office is always efficient and they work great as a team. I gladly and happily recommend Dr. Lee and his office(s) for any ortho work you need! He has an office in Oxnard and one in Santa Paula, so that's a plus for convenience depending on where you are located. Staff at both locations are professional and helpful. I have been contemplating braces for quite a while, and as an adult patient I had quite a few questions! My teeth are a mess, and I should have had jaw surgery about 35 years ago. Sadly, that didn't happen so Dr. Lee doesn't have a whole lot to work with in my teeth. LOL He was clear, upfront, and communicative in what he anticipates he can do with my teeth. So I took the plunge and now have braces! I know I will have many more questions as my treatment progresses, but I feel confident in my choice with Dr. Lee and I feel respected as a patient. Buissness is not organized. I get Covid happened but we shouldnt have to check in with you. Mind you I did call and just got the run around multiple times figured they just didn't get the materials in for my braces. No that was not the case they ended up sending the items back because I didnt call in. I didn't know I paid cash to check in every day and do your job. on top of that buisness used to be good when dr lee first bought it now just seems like he hires anyone to work there.. all I'm saying is for what we pay do your research and find a more professional organized office. read more

Such a lovely office! This was my first visit to Dr. Lee's office and I was very impressed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lee explained all my treatment and was very conservative in his recommendations. I didn't feel as though I was being pressured to do any work that wasn't needed. I am a dentists daughter. Who's dad referred all his orthodontic patients to Dr. Veal including me. Dr. Veal retired and sold his business to Dr. Lee. We have never received the same kind of professionalism since. My daughter was 12 minutes late to her appointment and was turned away. I called and explained that we were coming from Simi Valley to Oxnard. We left an hour ahead of time and got caught in gridlock traffic. Traffic was unpredictable in Ventura County because of the shootings and fires. My husband is sick with ALS so I sent my son to take my daughter to see Dr. Lee. Then she was turned away because she was twelve minutes late. Our bill is payed in full so I'm sure that's why they chose to not see her. That's the orthodontics of today. How sad! read more

Don't bother showing up here if you want an unprofessional staff. I came here as a recommendation thought the place was nice very friendly staff helpful and informative as well. I thought wrong. I came in back in April to get a consult for braces but turned out that I needed dental work prior to having braces and recommended me to go to a family dentist. I paid for the braces that same day to get things started with payments and stuff no big deal. In late July my dentist still needed more time for my gums to get better for braces, so since it was taking longer than expected I decided to get my deposit back. They had originally told me they were going to send a check in the mail at the end of the month or the beginning of the next month. It's now the end of August still waiting two and still have not received my deposit. I called, they never call me back or she's always on break and will get back to me. I ended up calling them again and they said they could pay me that same day through Zelle, gave them my info and I waited all day again. I called them and asked how come I haven't received anything and they said that they couldn't do it so they have to send me a check in 5 days or I can pick it up by this thursday at the Oxnard location (I called on tuesday). It's now friday, I didn't pick it up on Thursday because I was busy and I also thought to give them an extra day. I walk in to their office and they don't have it!!! Apparently someone was supposed to text me about it and I won't get it by Monday at their Santa paula office. I am beyond disappointed about their professionalism playing games with me and my deposit at this point they should refund me the whole 1,200$ I spent on their crappy staff. LESSON LEARNED: Don't pay for services in advance if you are unsure if the treatment is going to done. read more

We love Dr. Lee and the staff at Oxnard Ortho! The new renovation is AMAZING. When you walk in it looks like a high end office. How lucky are we to have them right here in Oxnard. I have to say that my treatment plan started off great. I really liked the staff and my treatment plan at the time (December 2018). However, I've been super unhappy with my last couple of visits at the office. I just feel like my needs weren't met and haven't been met as a patient lately. Don't get me wrong, Dr.Lee is an amazing orthodontist. However, the staff is all new now and I understand it is a learning process with the new staff but I've been super patient and trying to be understanding of all that's been going on given that we were all struggling with the pandemic and trying to adjust to a new environment. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the lack of support I've received. I feel as if I've been on different pages as I communicated one thing but received another outcome. I was too nervous to say anything after and no longer wanted to deal with it so I decided to ignore and not express my concerns anymore as I really felt brushed off and it isn't the first time. Overall, I don't feel comfortable attending my visits anymore and I think communication could have been better. I really liked coming to my appointments but lately I've been dreading with having to deal with all of it in general. read more

Customer service is awful. That's my only complaint. We were told they'll remind us about our appointment beforehand but it never happened....I encountered this issue with them at least 3 times. I know it's our responsibility but if you care about your patients, at least give us a courtesy call that we missed our appointment. We visited Dr. Veal before he retired for our oldest, and liked his practical/patient approach, waiting till the adult teeth are further along. Dr. Veal seems to have a similar philosophy. Our youngest ended up needing the work first. We had to have a space retainer mold taken today to keep molars from shifting (as recommended by our dentist & Dr. Lee). There was a mix-up with the appointment, but they fit us in. Dr. Lee took the time to talk to us about what he sees in this child's future. He said that we will come in for checkups on the retainer. But nothing else is needed now. He showed us the child's bite profile from the photos they took, and that it lines up well. When the adult teeth come in, its likely that we'll need to extract a few, due to lack of space, and he'll have to have braces. Dr. Lee's goal is to minimize the treatment time for the patient. This is such a contrast from a different orthodontist that told us, last week, that he wants to spread open my son's jaw with an apparatus, have Phase 1 braces, then a retainer for years, and then Phase 2 braces. When we look at the timespan that would take 7 years! This helped us feel that we can trust Dr. Lee. He's not trying to make money at the expense of gullible parents. read more

Dr. Lee has been my orthodontist for over a year now and he's doing excellent job. All of the staff members are so helpful and they are so patient and kind. It's a lot of fun to come into the office because they always have something going on and there is a lot of time to laugh and talk about your day.
