Found Dr. Lee at Prime Dental Group after doing some research about LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure). Called his office at 10p.m. to leave a voice message in opes they would call me the next day. To my surprise, Dr. Lee answered the phone and we spoke for nearly 60 minutes about my critical dental health. He explained all I needed to know about LANAP and he scheduled me an appointment for the next morning. The dentist I spoke with before Dr. Lee, wanted to remove 5 of my teeth and do 5 bone graphs to prepare for dental implants. The cost would have be in the neighborhood of 30K. Dr. Lee explain in no uncertain terms that my dental health wasn't anywhere near healthy enough for implants. After discussing LANAP a bit more, I was sold. I probably can't say the exact cost of what Dr. Lee did for me, but lets just say he save me a heap of money. More importantly he saved the 5 teeth that the other would have removed. Dr. Lee actually saved my entire mouth and then some. Dr. Lee is super honest, direct, and informative. I feel I received some of the best dental work of my life. I could not recommend Prime Dental Group and Dr. Lee enough. I hope to have Dr. Lee around for many years to come! If i could give 10 stars on this review, I most definitely would! Dr. Lee truly saved my teeth. With over 25 years of experience, he clearly knows what he's doing--especially when it comes to bite alignment and long-term dental health. From the start, his focus was on what would benefit me in the long run, not just a quick fix. I had a root canal and two extractions on the same side. Initially, the plan was to do a bridge, but Dr. Lee went out of his way to save one of my teeth and recommended a better long-term solution. He even included a dental implant to set me up for the future, so when the root canal tooth eventually needs to come out, we'll be able to bridge both implants together. That level of foresight and care really meant a lot to me. His staff is also incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the entire experience much more comfortable. Dr. Lee is the extra mile and he's so knowledgeable and incredible at what he does! Well after seeing some of the reviews about how Dr Lee says you need more work then you actually do I have to 100% agree with them. I spent over 3000.00 at his office with all that he said I needed. I believe he tries to scare you into how bad your teeth and gums are so you feel like you have no choice but to get the work done. I too had to pay up front and then wait for my insurance to reimburse me. I went back in a couple months to have him see how my teeth were doing and claimed I needed ANOTHER deep cleaning and some more work and I would have to pay 2000.00 up front again. I said no way and never went back. His office would call me and call me trying to get me to or back and when I told them I could not afford it, I'd have to go somewhere elsewhere. I wouldn't have to pay upfront then they even sent me a letter with a brochure about gum disease, which I thought was very rude. I came to Dr. Lee in 2023 on a recommendation. After my latest visit and the one prior, it became pretty clear that there are high-pressure sales techniques in play here with very little transparency. Dr. Lee requested a pre-payment to hold an appointment, while simultaneously refusing my request to do a pre-authorization from my insurance company. As I was leaving, he tried to tell the office assistant to charge me for a fluoride treatment that was never administered. I had to explain that I wasn't given a fluoride treatment. Some of my thoughts on this dentist are below. In my latest visit, a cleaning and check up, I went from explaining that I had sensitivity in one tooth to being whisked away to his sales office to discuss my "treatment plan." To be fair, in my 2nd visit he had mentioned that there were some issues and we discussed an overview of the treatment areas. In the sales office I was told that my recommended treatment plan was 4 crowns and 2 filling replacements. In the plan of attack he recommended breaking up the procedures into multiple appointments. He then told me that it would cost me $11K! I asked him if he could do a pre-authorization because I need to plan for it. He said he doesn't do pre-authorizations because "he doesn't allow insurance companies to dictate his treatment plans." It may have more to do with billing transparency and rates he agreed to with the Insurance company in order to be able to accept their insured members. One day, all the actual fraud that occurs in medicine will not be acceptable. Currently the medical industries openly commit fraud in billing and no one, not even the government holds them accountable. So, I'm going to find another dentist. read more

I hate to write this, but I feel that I have no other choice to share my experience with Prime Dental Group that I've been using for the last few years. Unbeknownst to me during my last visit in March they had changed their office billing policy. Prior to this visit, they had never charged me out of pocket for my cleanings but instead billed the insurance. When I finished my visit not only did I find out that I had to pay $485 out of pocket, they also charged me for a different cleaning without ever getting my agreement for this additional charge. I did pay the $485.00 with the understanding that they would bill my insurance and then the insurance would send me the reimbursement check. This was three months ago after going back and forth with the office multiple times, pushing it back on the insurance company, who said that they had never received a claim from this office for the March visit. At think point, I can only believe this is fraud, with no resolution at this time. I've asked over and over including today to resolve this and I keep getting push back, I would not recommend this place any longer. read more

I have to say doctor Lee is probably a very good dentist, However their tactics in trying to force you to sign a contract committing to work before he even gets preapproval from your insurance is absolutely ludicrous. I can tell hes probably a good dentist and His office staff is very nice, however high Pressure sales is not a good mix with Dentistry. My dentist of 27 years was retiring, and I needed to find a new dentist. I went To prime dental in hopes of finding a new dentist. They were very thorough in their examination which I appreciate, However after the exam was over I had to sit down with doctor Lee and listen to a whole spill about what needed to be done and that I needed to sign the contract today. When I questioned him about preauthorization for the work that needed to be done he skirted the question. So I pushed a little harder and he admitted that if he did the work and insurance didn't cover that I would Have to pay the difference. Maybe my former dentist just had all of us spoiled. Doctor Patel was very conscientious of our money. Unless something was an emergency he would absolutely get a preauthorization so we knew ahead a time how much we would have to pay. Dental work is very expensive and believe me I'm willing to pay my share but I'm not willing to rush true and not make sure that my insurance company is going to pay their fair share 1st. I don't think doctor Lee cares who pays as long as he gets his money. After speaking with my insurance company they informed me that there was a cap for the year and that had doctor Lee performed all of the work I would have been libel for an additional 2000 over the $3800 he was already asking me to pay up front. I also saw 2 other dentists that disagreed with doctor Lee about me needing 3 crowns. So there's that. Both dentist said I needed one Crown and 1 filling. They also said that he This was incorrect insane I needed a mouth guard. Is neither dentist agreed that I grind my teeth. I know I don't grind my teeth. By the way he wanted $699 for the mouth guard which by the way is not covered at all by any insurance. So even though hes probably a good dentist I feel like his business Tactics are a little questionable. Also since I visited there I don't have one week that I don't receive a letter from his office telling me I need to get in there and get this din till work done. I really just need them to leave me alone. As it turns out my former dentist Sold his dental practice to Is an amazing dentist. I usually don't give bad reviews on Yelp, But really prime dentistry needs to quit being a high pressure sales dentistry. read more

so i was staying in the area frequently and i decided to check out this local dentist. I called and asked if they accepted my insurance. They said yes. I go in the next day, they take a million pictures of my teeth that i never asked for. I am sitting in the chair with things in my mouth when the dentist comes back in and says "everything's covered expect the fluoride which is $50. okay we are going to put that on now" This is after he was suppose to do a simple cleaning. HE BROKE ONE OF MY FILLINGS while doing this simple cleaning by scraping my tooth so hard it snapped off. it was uncomfortable, painful and scary. Then he wants me to pay $50 for fluoride? what year is this? 1990? I said no. then they take me into the office to try to pressure me to schedule an appointment and put down $227.00 more dollars for my next appt to fix the filling that the dentist broke. Thankful for Dr Lee and his friendly staff. I had been waking up with headaches, jaw and neck pain for several weeks. Dr Lee quickly identified my problem which was teeth clenching and grinding.
