    Fresh oysters

Fresh Baja oysters, said they were Kumamoto's, but were kind of briny and big, still delicious. Fresh variety of ceviche and fresh fish tostada's. Overlooking view of the marina, nice restaurant with fresh fish! Menu has a variety of seafood specialties from octopus to a variety of fresh ceviche, service is a bit slow, but attentive.

    Borrego left and Mexicali right.

The best fast casual food in Cabo. If you like ceviche, a great tuna sandwich, a straight on view of the ocean and terrific service, this is the place for you. We have been to the other spots in Merkado but this ranks #1. The Borrego ceviche and the Ahi sandwich are our go to's but the rest are just as good. Check them out for sure!

I've had ceviche in various parts of Mexico. This was my first time to Los Cabo's (San Jose and Cabo San Lucas). After paying $80 at my hotel for two burger and two drinks I knew it was time to explore outside of the resort. Oyster Bar is located on the 2nd floor inside El Merkado (upscale food court). Very nice atmosphere. My wife had the ceviche Mexicali and I had the ceviche especial. Both were AMAZING. What I loved was they have a habanero onion soy sauce to drizzle on your ceviche. I've never put soy sauce on ceviche so I was a little hesitant at first but it was really good. You can taste the Freshness in the ceviche, the vegetables, the lime and the fish. Not premade from the morning or the day before like some places. They prepare it right in front of you. Will be coming BACK!

First time eating raw fish, thought I'd never do it but they have some fire food!!! This might be my spot the whole trip! Sorry about the pic that's all that was left! It's that good

Amazing Oyster bar! I went to try the oysters! They were fresh and very well seasoned. I enjoy my experience and the costumers services is very good.

Started off with the royal clams on the advice of the staff and boy did they not disappoint. My wife and I couldn't stop raving about them. The fresh seafood, the sauce, the bread, and that sauce. If people weren't around I think we would have picked up the clam shells to make sure we got every bit of that sauce. Super friendly attentive staff too. Yet another must stop on our visit to Cabo. Located in the trendy EL Merkado shop. Tacos were good as well. Tried a variety of them.

Delicious! Service was exceptional and food was fresh and amazing. Been to Cabo many times and I loved this place in a trendy indoor market called "El Merkado". Plan to come back and eat many more dishes

Seabass ceviche was very fresh. Octopus was a but spicy but still delicious. Clams were a bit too salty for my liking. Located upstairs of el merkado.

From start to finish they made our dining experience more than just a nice dinner out. Our server, Nicholas, went out of his way to make sure our kids had a fantastic night-to include making chicken fingers for our youngest that was not even on the menu! He helped with menu selection, but also gave us great ideas of things to do and places to see nearby. We tried the black margarita which was fun and different! The Mexican pizza, the soft shell crab tacos, and the guac! All amazing!

The corn and shrimp soups were probably the best and only good parts of the meal. The crab tacos appetizer was also pretty good but not amazing, a bit lacking in flavor. But the entrees were actively not good. I tried to order one thing but they mixed up the order and instead brought me grilled shrimp, which they insisted was better than what I had originally ordered--it was definitely not. It was just very plain shrimp and vegetables with no flavoring at all, and then a weird side of spaghetti that also managed to not taste like anything. My partner had potatoes mixed with ketchup as his side. I was so so disappointed given the amount of money we paid to eat here. I would never come back.

They even offered us some complimentary chips and a variety of fresh and tasty salsas. The cactus tacos and guacamole was also nice. They had nice decor and wall artwork that added to the charm. Wow! What a great experience we had at La Lupita Taco and Mezcal…read more This is a taco place. Don't expect any else on the menu except soup & salad and a couple of apps & sides. There is an indoor area or outside courtyard you can choose from. We had the pleasure of working with several Staff members including our main waiter, Marco as well as Ivan and Miriam. They were all so fun and attentive. They brought us a small serving of soup as an appetizer. My husband had a taste of the tortilla broth which had a little kick to it and I had the bean soup. Both were a nice sampling of the soup they offered. We ordered the chips & huac to start. The chips were thick and crispy. The guacamole tasted super fresh and bright. Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. For my Arizona friends, they will be opening a Scottsdale location in 2027. I can wait. Add this to your must try restaurants. Also, they just opened a location in Dallas Texas.

Everything I had here was fairly mid. The tacos were not my favorite... So much that I didn't even eat it. The server was nice but didn't speak English so I had trouble communicating with her (but not her fault since I'm the one in Mexico!) - so not as tourist friendly as some of the places in town center or by the resorts.
