    Colorful inside

Crowded with locals . Smelled good inside. Hostess was not friendly at all. Driving me and entree order take quickly. Metal silverware, paper napkins, ceramic plates. Cool 70s/80s music playing in background at a good volume. Ordered the flounder broiled. Comes with a baked potato, salad and bread. Butter on the table is vegetable oil. :( They told me the grilled flounder takes 30 minutes to prepare, as I was on a lunch break I opted for the fish fillet grilled, baked potato in place of fries, salad and grilled veggies. They did have Thousand Island dressing for my salad and did leave off the crotons as requested. Bread was very good even without fake butter on it. Grilled fish was tasty. Crispy outside and moist inside. I would eat here again if back in town.

Hey now, 2 good finds in one day! I enjoyed the breading they had on the fried options. My only complaint was it was a little pricey for the few lunch items we got. However, my honey says this too was a great Michelada find! Will likely return.

    Fisherman's Variety Plate

I convinced my husband to dine here, despite his assumptions that it was going to be expensive and that he did not feel much like eating sea food that night. As we left, he could not stop commenting about how fresh and delicious the food was. He even thanked me for my suggestion. The interior looks old, and has obviously not been updated in a few decades, however, do not let that stop you from enjoying yourselves. The servers were pleasant and the portions were large. We both got the Fisherman's Variety Plate (2 oysters, 2 scallops, 2 shrimp, 2 fish fillets) and easily had enough fish left over for lunch the next day.

Fisherman's variety for $12.50 tons of food!

Food is Good. Female manager looks and acts like she is always in a bad mood. That's is why I gave it 2 stars .

Wood paneling and outdated tables, booths, and carpet set this restaurant back to the 80s if not earlier.

Her friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge of the menu, and insightful recommendations made our evening truly memorable. I opted for the pesto pasta, which was expertly prepared and complemented by Isabella's signature mango cocktail. My friend enjoyed the rosemary chicken and pasta, accompanied by a Paloma cocktail, which Isabella had recommended. Both dishes were equally delectable. To conclude our culinary journey, we indulged in the exquisite desserts of crème brûlée and coconut crème pie. The ambiance of the restaurant, enhanced by the soothing music, provided a perfect respite from the demands of a long workday. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Liam's and were eager to return. Isabella's attentive service and cheerful disposition made her an invaluable asset to the establishment. I highly recommend visiting Liam's and experiencing Isabella's exceptional hospitality.

I arrived in the morning and had a couple hours before my meeting so I decided to find some local coffee instead of beer. Service and flavor: Ordered at the counter then found a good spot and got my laptop going to catch up on work. Coffee was delivered with a cool cup (no plastic) and extra carafe. It was so good I ordered refills. It is so much fun to try local roasts that differ from the mainstream., My server was super nice and took care of me. God bless Texas! Ambiance: I felt so at easy there. Several others like me were working. Wasn't too loud but not a library either. I will be back in town in a couple months but will be sure to plan my trip to spend an hour or so here.

What hasn't changed? The quality of their drinks! Bandera continues to be consistent in delivering a wonderful experience from their friendly baristas to their quality drinks. The seating area is cozy and this most recent time they had a DJ to add some life to the vibe. The matcha latte and pour over were both fantastic and is a great place to stop by if you're heading back north out of the valley or if you're just in the area. Parking and seating are pretty fair given its size, and Bandera sets a vibe where you can work, catch up with a friend, or just simply enjoy a great cup of caffeine to elevate your day.
