I really enjoyed my 3 day stay. This place has charm. The woman who greeted me was a doll & put me in the main building. She explained breakfast deliveries & was fun polite & helpful. I was out on 2nd floor. They have a nice elevator. She explained I was in main building with no pets. This place was a gem. The room was large & The view is amazing. It was spotless but of course I wipe all down as a precaution. I felt so at peace here. Minus the occasional dog walker or family it was all mine. The lake was a dream. I kept my window open to enjoy it. There was no screen on slider so mosquitoes came out. The carpet & furniture is old & soft. The couch beautiful in its day is now stained & needs to be retired. It appears they upgraded to granite on counters. So breakfast was included & a nice treat. It was a full spread. They have you fill out a sheet & put down what you want. The best order was biscuits w gravy. Both piping hot perfection. With potatoes & veggies. Everything Bagel w 2 cream cheese. Peach yoghurt. It fed me the rest of day. Plus. Coffee. Delivered at your choice of time between 7-9. Nice touch. Cleaning staff was friendly & helpful. They clean rooms daily if you allow them. First day I was done 2 hours & left off dnd sign. It was cleaned by the time I returned. They even had bath & bodyworks shampoo conditioner with lotion & lovely bar soap. All very Rare treat these days. There are 2 buildings & plenty of parking in front & back. The 3rd floor in the main building is only floor w access to get down to lake. The lobby is top floor. But you can park down near 3 side door in back & go in & out that way. Overall great price great stay.

I would've given a 5-star but the place is a bit run down. The view of the water was Amazing! Bed was comfirtable. The toilet seat was extremely low like for a child. The first morning my husband ordered the omelette with cheese, muffin, yogurt and apple juice. Omelette not so good but the rest was fine. I ordered the and Potatoes with bacon, a muffin and hot chocolate. Both of us would not order this particular breakfast again but the next day was a different story. We both ordered the Waffle, Fluffy Biscuits and gravy with apple juice and milk. This breakfast was way better than the first morning. We would order this again. Best of all they deliver to your room which is so cool. Plenty of parking and local restaurants. We came here to go to the drive-in movie. We will be back.

I wouldn't work here or stay here! I was in this hotel for a week waiting to get into a rental house and it's disgusting! Bed bugs, dog pee everywhere and black mold! I gave them a week to rectify the situation and they won't even talk to me.

    BED BUG

bed bugs - bed bugs - bed bugs - bed bugs - bed bugs - bed bugs!!!! do not stay here! management is not addressing this issue as it has (apparently) been a chronic problem for over a year.

    So many questions

It was shabby, but cheap, and I thought as long as it's clean I can live with it. And it was clean. But there was so much about the room that was just plain stupid. Two queen beds facing opposite directions, so one sleeper couldn't see the television at all. From my bed I faced a large mirror that was sitting on a desk with a large lamp in front of it. Just goofy. It was cold, with two short baseboard heaters, one half hidden behind a heavy couch I moved away from the wall, just in case. No heat in the bathroom , the ceiling heater didn't work. The view was lovely, but climbing up on the bed to draw the curtain was annoying. But the delivered "breakfast in bed" was hilarious. You order the night before and are promised delivery starting at 7 am. At 8:15, I called to inquire. It came to the door in a paper bag, suspiciously cold. Well that was the two containers of milk I didn't order because I don't drink the stuff! The tea wasn't in there, not even a tea bag, and the order form only teased me with the possibility of Spiced Chai tea. The oatmeal was in two packets, without even a bowl to put it in. I thought maybe I could accomplish something with the 6 oz paper cups wrapped in plastic that went with the coffee pot. And don't even get me started on the coffee pot whose filter was so old and clogged that it would only return half of what was poured into the tank. Okay, maybe I'll just microwave some water and make the most of it. But the microwave! It was installed in a stand under the coffee pot and over the mini fridge which I'm sure is what was meant by the kitchenette, and the power cord went through a little hole in the back of the stand, and I couldn't figure out where to plug the damn thing in! So I hauled it out of the kitchenette, pushed the television set out of the way, climbed up onto the headboardless bed, set it on the TV counter and successfully plugged it in . But before the oatmeal I was tempted by the ice cold "raspberry pastry". Maybe warming it up would make it fit for human consumption. I squeezed it out of the cellophane wrapper and balanced it onto one of those 6 oz. paper cups. It turned out just as dense and gummy as you would expect an ice cold cellophane wrapped pastry would be, with no particular flavor except sugar. By then I had lost my enthusiasm for whipping up the wee cup of oatmeal, and decided it would be much more fun to just write a review in bed. The views are so pleasant, it's a shame they don't do just the simple inexpensive things to make the room pleasant, too.

    Urine on bedding. Nasty carpets.

After seeing the review here about bedbugs, I made sure to check the bed and am glad I did. The mattress cover had a large yellow "something" on it. The staff did change it and was very nice, but I just can't sleep here comfortably after seeing that. No soap at the lavatory and the carpet is atrocious. No manager on duty to authorize refund. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

I adore this charming hotel! I admit, I was kinda nervous given some of the reviews... that said my experience was delightful. The staff at check in was lovely, Offered me a warm cookie. The room was clean and well maintained, not the newest nor nicest furniture but for the price I would not expect it to be. The view is beautiful. There were no bugs in the room or the hotel, the room smelled fine. The breakfast was good and better then most continental breakfasts that I have had. The view was stunning. A note - the bathroom seemed to have shorter furniture in it - the tub, toilet and counter all seemed designed for a person a fair bit shorter then me ( I am 5'4"). But not enough that it hindered use ( I still took a bath and it worked fine). Overall I had a delightful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

    BEDBUGS !!!

BEDBUGS - BEWARE As a seasoned traveler, I have gotten in the practice of checking the room before unpacking. It's a good thing I did after checking into Oyster Bay. There was a very alarming cluster of insects under the sheets. I immediately grabbed my bag and requested a refund. The front desk was very unhelpful - they insisted that they couldn't refund me (wtf?) and offered to give me another room instead. I'm sorry, aren't bedbugs a SERIOUS problem? I ate the 80 bucks and went to Motel 6 instead. Let me stress that Oyster Bay Inn was quite happy to keep my money over this and would NOT refund me. Unbelievable. Other notes: Checking into Oyster Bay Inn was not seamless, as there was a surprise 100$ hold that was not advertised when purchasing through Priceline. I've never seen a hold that was higher than the price of the room, especially a cheap one. The front desk was extremely apathetic in any case. I'm surprised this is even a 2.5 star hotel; I've been to cheaper 2 star motels way nicer. Oyster bay is dingy and run down but not in a charming way. It makes me wonder if the business is tanking considering how desperate they are to keep your money despite the presence of bedbugs. If you see this page flooded with 5 star reviews, I would be very suspicious of them. Do yourself a favor and check in somewhere else if you need to stay in Bremerton.

I'm not sure which utility room some of the guests stayed in and give it the bad reviews. It's not WYNN or MGM or a 5 star hotel but it's a lot better than some of the hotels I stayed in before. The price of 2 QUEEN beds was $75! AGAIN FOR $75! It can't be beat with fridge and microwave plus free wi-fi, the decor was fine and the front desk staff are very nice. It's graduation day for my daughter & our room (RM. 215) was really clean and the view of the waters are great,, As far as as being outdated (as a finish carpenter) the things I saw are .....popcorn ceiling, old lightings, our A/C is old but working and noisy, Feeling like a movie star? THEN,Don't stay here.

Typical small town inn. The back view of the water is AMAZING The comp breakfast is great!! Waffles, yogurt, bagels, coffee, juice. Usually they also have biscuits and gravy or omelettes. The staff is super friendly Nothing overwhelming. Average beds and bathrooms. Plenty of parking.

Makin' chili in the kitchenette! I feel like this should be part of a competition on the Food Network.

If you're expecting the Hilton, don't come here. If you're looking for a halfway decent place to crash, it'll do nicely. My family and I are staying here for about a month in one of the rooms with a kitchenette, and so far it has been a pleasant stay. Pros: - The staff is friendly and the room is clean. -Housekeeping comes by daily to clean if you need it, change out the towels and refill the toilet paper. - Complementary breakfast! Every morning! When you have kids, this is great. It's nothing fancy, but they have a good variety. - Laundry room. If you are here for an extended stay, it's nice to not have to haul your clothes to a laundromat. While I was here, it was $1.50 for the washer and $1 for the dryer. Cons: - Like most hotels I've been in, I don't entirely trust the cleanliness of the room, but it's probably just because it's slightly outdated. - The smells. The hallway has a faint smell of stale cigarettes. They allow pets, so you get a whiff of wet dog... or other smells ever now and then. -The Internet. They offer free wi-fi, but it sucks. - The bathroom. More specifically, the shower. The temperature changes without warning and I've been caught off guard by both ice cold water and scalding water. Altogether, it's been an alright stay.

Based on the reviews they just went through a big renovation and deserve a good review. The current reviews are not so good but we had a great time there. The best part of the hotel is their service! Each and every employee greets you when they see you and are very friendly and helpful. An extra shoutout to Trevor front desk for helping us out with food recommendations and some reservation issues, checking to see how our stay was going and fun conversations! Another shoutout to Christina for the awesome breakfast service and always asking how our days were going! Location is right down the street a few minutes walk from the Ferry Terminals (state DoT ferry - 1 hr and fast passenger ferry 35 min available). It was also located steps away from the Kitsap conference center that our training was. Also a few minutes away from the Puget sound naval shipyard. Free Breakfast included starts at 6 am, bread, bagels, muffins, juices, cream cheese, peanut butter, cereals, milk, fresh fruits. Hot breakfasts included eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits and gravy, seasoned potatoes, waffles - vanilla, cinnamon, s'mores, toppings - strawberry and blueberry whipped cream butter, sprinkles, heath pieces, hot oatmeal with brown sugar, almonds, raisins. 24/7 available in the lobby, they have coffee, decaf coffee, tea (hot water) and tea bags, hot chocolate. Ice water and lemon ice water available 24/7 by the check in counter which also has a microwave and little store to buy things you may have forgotten or snacks and fast frozen meals Each room has a refrigerator and microwave, luggage stand, iron, ironing board, tv. The bed was a little squeaky but was fine to sleep on still very comfortable. Parking available under the hotel and is shared with the restaurant, Anthony's so sometimes it may be hard to get parking if you come back too late, but every time we needed parking we were able to find parking. $15 a day for registered guests. I absolutely love the waterfront views from this hotel, as well as the lovely pebble beach covered in driftwood. There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

For much of the first day all roads in and out of the area were inaccessible due to downed trees and power lines. When one road opened up, we had to drive to an area with internet access to book a hotel stay. This hotel was the closest to Seattle with power and availability. Ninety minutes for heat and electricity. You betcha I booked. The parking lot is right off a busy road. There is a large sign at the entrance. Even so, in the dark, it took some concentration to be sure we had it right first time. The lobby is large, brightly lit with shiny floors and modern chandeliers. A couch grouping is just inside the entrance. Reception is on the left near the back. Breakfast buffet is across the lobby on the right. A large representation of what I believe to be Mt. Rainier takes up a lot of space between reception and the breakfast area. Down a few steps, along the back, tables and chairs for breakfast line a window wall. One TV near reception faces the entrance and is not visible from the tables during breakfast. We started with a two night reservation and as the hotel had space, allowed us to add a day at a time as long as we extended before check-out. The staff were very friendly and understanding of our fluid situation. The hotel is four levels. Reception is on level 3, which is ground level on this side of the hotel. It is also quite long with several entrances and elevator banks. We were directed to drive down to the fourth entrance to park. Elevators are across the hall from the entrance. We only went up one floor to the fourth level to reach our room. I never did get down to the first and second level, but understand guest laundry is on the second level near these elevators. Two fifty per wash and two fifty per dry cycle. Breakfast is included with the room price. We were given a slip of paper for each person on the reservation, for each day of our stay. The slips are dated and handed to the breakfast hostess before helping ourselves to the buffet. The woman on duty during our stay is a delight. She kept busy restocking, cleaning, helping guests and made time for a chat if guest initiated. Breakfast included sausage gravy and biscuits, plus reconstituted scrambled eggs. Rotating items included bacon, sausage, breakfast potatos and french toast sticks. They have a 'make your own' waffle station with syrup and add ons. The toaster area included small bagels, english muffins and breads, along with a few pastries and muffins. Packets of butter, margerine, peanut butter, and other things you might like are also here. Jelly is on the table. A small fridge had cream cheese and yogurts. A variety of cold cereals and milk had it's own section. Another area offered coffee, decaf coffee and hot water with teas and cocoa. This was set up next to a juice machine with three types of juice plus flavored water. Fresh fruit was also available. A pretty nice breakfast. We reserved a King suite which is one large room with a knee wall between the bed and sleep sofa. The area near the door contained a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and ice bucket across from the closet. There is no luggage rack in the closet and none in the room which was inconvenient. A full bath is off this tiny hall. The furnishings were in good condition. The bathroom was clean. Multi-use amenities are mounted on the bathroom wall. The room heater sounded like a plane taking off when it ran. There is a small balcony and sliding glass doors on the exterior wall covered by both sheers and black-out curtains. Additional parking is located on the other side of the building at level 1, but the lot we parked in was more than sufficient for the guests in house. We were able to walk from our room at the far end of the building to the lobby each morning for breakfast on the inside of the building. I did see an ice machine near one of the entrances during our journy. Some of the fire doors were closed but unlocked. An exercise room is located off the lobby, behind the breakfast room (not through the breakfast room, around, behind it). Although there are lots of eateries nearby we did not find one we enjoyed. This hotel is conveniently near the Naval Station. I did let the front desk know at check out about a couple of minor maintenance issues that need attention.
