Cleanest hotel we've stayed in in a long time . We caught the housekeeper cleaning the rails outside ! Very kind management and front desk gal . Pets are 10 dollars a night you might need to go for a little walk in order for them to potty .

Big stain on the chair, wasnt wet, wasnt water, who knows!!

COVID-19 WARNING We stayed here July 21st-22nd. As we were showering we noticed BLOOD dripping down the wall, there were STAINS on the sheets and chairs as well. We arrived at the hotel and used our disinfecting wipes on every surface and on every single surface the wipes were brown and dirty afterwards. SEE PICTURES We watched the maid clean another room and she just pulled the sheets and moved on, she didnt have ANY cleaning supplies with her. When we went to Management to complain he literally just waived his hand and told us to get the "fuck" off of his property and then he tried to tow our car. We called the police and health department and reported them for Health Concerns. Please DO NOT stay here We are in a pandemic and this type of business is not acceptable. STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS

I gave the hotel 4 stars. For being the only hotel in town it was very clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating.

In fact, tiny everything - living area, bathroom - except for the great king-sized bed in the bedroom. What really made our stay was hanging out in front of the owners' house next door, right on the canal! Amazing view and setting, so relaxing we would just sit and stare, or have a glass of wine. There is a fire pit, so if there's no burn ban that would be fun. Leo and Caroll were great hosts, and insist that they are OK with people like us virtually living in their front yard for hours!

Wendy, the owner, and her manager, Royce, are professional, responsive, and thoughtful people. During a three week stay during the covid restrictions, I witnessed the rooms thoroughly cleaned after the departure of each guest, with employees wearing masks the entire time they were in each room. Units include living areas, fireplaces, separate bedrooms, and kitchens, which can save on food costs during an extended stay, and there is a laundry machine and dryer. One possible drawback is the quite dedicated Mom Hummingbird who built a nest immediately in front of the office entrance. She doesn't hurt anyone, but prepare to be startled!

The hotel has a large lobby with plenty of luggage carts for transporting baggage to rooms. The hotel is located in Silverdale on the Dyes Inlet, a lovely bay connected to the Puget Sound. There are lots of shopping, dining, and tourist activities in the surrounding area, as well as remarkable natural beauty. I absolutely love the waterfront views from this hotel, as well as the lovely pebble beach covered in driftwood. There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. Perhaps it will be a bit more enjoyable for peak summer visits - when a cold dip in the pool is most refreshing. The hotel offers complimentary bowls of soup in the evening, which is always a welcome surprise.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

The breakfast that's included is actually on the 3rd floor and NO ELEVATOR!! I'd say that a form of discrimination. So we couldn't go. The rooms are tight with the two double beds but did appreciate the mini fridge and microwave. The parking lot got packed on a Sunday night, a few shady characters. But the lovely small sandy beach area and walking path the big perk on nice day. We paid nearly $200 for one night having one dog. Yes your close to the water but the big parking lot is impeding on your view on bottom floor, we basins saw cars from our window, and room small, very average and on dirty side in areas. Bed was fine I must add, pillows clumpy.

The very nice girl that checked us in moved us to the 3rd floor and the room is very clean. The towels were new, plush and fluffy white. There's a mini fridge and microwave. Unfortunately they didn't have another king-bed room to move us to so we had a room with two queen beds. The mattresses moved a LOT if one person rolled over so I had to sleep in a separate bed than my husband. I did appreciate that the window opened a bit for fresh air and we had a nice view of the water. This is an older motel that's seen many guests and years so it's pretty nice given its age. I would stay here again but only in that same room.

So this is a review of my experience here though we didn't stay there…read more It is a great historical example of a waterfront hotel built in the late 19th century during the building boom here when Port Townsend was competing with the whole west coast to be a terminus port for trade and economic boom. The railroad never came but the sailors did so this was the brothel, bar, and sailor trade on the waterfront where the respectable affluent families built their Victorian homes above. So glad that further economic boom didn't tear down this cool old buildings and so much of the structures of all kinds around town! We were having a local tourist day from our place across Admiralty inlet with our big dog. While walking the front street before we could notice a lovely older lady was welcoming us and our boy and very happy to see our pup. She was just so much a great ambassador of their business and very engaging that we all enjoyed the encounter. The front entrance decorated well and nice plants in boxes. She had so many dog friendly advice to give us without asking about Port Townsend in general and recommended local dining choices. Not asked for but in hindsight it reminded me of what you'd expect from your concierge at a nice hotel while on vacation. We really enjoyed chatting with her out at the entrance and makes me want to suggest that place for a fun stay. They have 7 rooms I guess that are dog friendly and If we "missed the boat back to Whidbey". Or something more planned, we would def consider staying at this former 19th century brothel turned hotel for sure! It reminds me of a smaller version of the same we stayed at once in San Francisco way up the hill that was not preserved so well. This whole town was designed and developed to compete with west coast 19th century seaports for trade and commerce and it shows. But i think that the thought that railroads would bring prosperity here has left us with survivors of this bygone era!! I'd recommend considering this a a great waterfront stay in this town as it's very convenient and worthwhile!
