Authentic Irish pub with great atmosphere. For those that complain about the service, understand that that the owner, manager, and bar tender are the same person, cut him some slack.

It didn't look like much from the outside, but this was the most authentic Irish pub that I've ever stepped foot in. You have to visit all the different rooms to understand, but I felt like I was in Ireland from the decor to hearing owner Father Brendan tell stories in his Irish accent. Whatever you do, don't order an Irish Car Bomb. As the other reviews mention, you'll get berated by the owner or denied service. Fortunately, I ordered Guinness and had a great experience at the bar and enjoyed playing pool.

Looks Irish, feels Irish, and tastes Irish. Although the times open are subject to change, I enjoyed catching it open one day after work. The ambiance sets it apart.

Bartender is the reason you go! Father makes this bar run, he's friendly, hilarious, and kind. This bar has many different rooms, instruments to play (guitar, piano, etc.) and games such as darts, billiards, and jenga. The alcohol selection is vast and please do not ask the father to make an Irish car bomb. It's offensive and frankly not a great drink.

Great place to have a drink in an authentic Irish pub. The gentleman that runs it is amazing to talk with and is a delight to listen to the stories.

Love the decor @ this place. Honestly looks exactly like a Irish pub. The owner is a nice guy. Has the humor & grumpy of a old bar owner. Definitely is a must to come by & have a drink. Don't ask for a Irish car bomb. This guy is a true Irishman who loves his heritage. Will be back!

Great atmosphere. The antiques are fabulous. The true photos of an Irish copper are his family's history.

The Steak & Spuds fell in to my husband's mouth at a rapid pace that the song of Florence & The Machine's Dog Days Are Over rang out like an anthem. Their brown gravy is just. Like. my. Irish. Mother's. Impeccable and rich. My Shepherds Pie was delicious and although the cheese was a little intimidating, perfectly balanced. My Smithwick's Irish Ale was the perfect accompaniment with the food. Our server was in training. We sat outside and he and his trainer quickly approached us to take our drink order and make recommendations. They were attentive and pleasant. We wouldn't have known he was in training! The bonus is they have their own parking lot so it's easy to roll on out to your car from app the good eats!

This time we came after hiking all day and sat outside with our dogs. Ambiance-touristy Irish pub. It's a big place that still tries to be Irish-ish. They fail but it's a worthwhile effort and people seem to like it. One issue with the design-it's a huge place but they have 2-single person bathrooms-one next to the bar and one on the second floor. I don't even understand how you get a building permit with that occupancy and so few bathrooms. My wife and I each got a burger, sub veggie patty. They are getting 2 stars for the fact they don't upcharge for the vegan patty. Everyone upcharges for a veggie burger, so this is an impressive give-a-way to customers. However, I added mushrooms and roasted red peppers, which added $2 each, and gluten free sandwich bread, which was a $5 upcharge. First, those veggies should not be a $2 upcharge each. That's obnoxious. Your menu burgers have toppings and are cheaper than a plain burger with 2 veggies. But, I am not taking stars away for the upcharge. I saw them, I accepted them. My problem is that with those changes, this was a $25 burger at an Irish pub in north GA and it tasted like a $5 burger from an Irish pub in north GA. It was dry, unseasoned, and very bland. You charged me $5 for 2 slices of bread from a loaf that costs $7.99 retail. A red pepper is $0.75 cents, maybe, retail, and for a couple teaspoons you charged me $2. Who knows what mushrooms cost, but the point is, for two toppings and sub 2 slices of sandwich bread, you charged me for a high-end steakhouse burger and served me a terrible backyard grill burger. On top of that, I ordered a whiskey (knob creek) on the rocks. On my check was a $2 rocks charge. So...you charged me $2 for ice? It makes no sense. It's the same amount of liquor. When I asked the server about it, she said because they pour an extra 2 ounces in. Obviously she lied because she had no clue what she was talking about. First, why would adding ice equal and extra 2 ounces? Maybe if I asked for an up martini or something, but I am adding volume, so why would you also add liquor? Second, my whiskey was $13 and a restaurant shot is 1, maybe 1.5 ounces. Do you really mean to tell me you gave me an extra 2 shots, maybe an extra 1.33 shots of a $13 liquor for $2 only because I asked for ice? I'm not an idiot. So, poor food, lying service, and unreasonable upcharges. I'm not coming back

THis one has a story behind it. Got invited to a drum circle in Gatrlinburg by my girlfriend's son…read more We went out that morning to see Cades Cover (big mistake - it was Memorial Day) and swung back around through Townsend (stopped at Mountain Man to have a craft brew on the way). Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

The moment we walked in and saw the Red Wings jerseys, I had a feeling we were in the right place--and we were. The bourbon selection is outstanding, the wings and pretzel appetizer were excellent, and the fish and chips were hands down the best I've ever had. My daughter ordered the filet, and it was a true filet cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the prices were incredibly reasonable. We had appetizers, dinner, and several bourbons, and our bill was actually lower than what we paid the night before at another restaurant that wasn't even close in quality or service. Thank you for ending our Smoky Mountains vacation on such a high note!

The atmosphere has that rare "Cheers" vibe where everyone seems to know each other, but somehow they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff genuinely cares about the customers, not in a forced corporate way, but in a real, personal way that you don't see very often anymore. You can tell there is a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. The food is just as impressive. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor, tasted homemade, and the portions were more than fair. It is the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you want to try next time. Add in the fun crowd, relaxed energy, and the feeling that you are part of the community while you are there, and this place becomes more than just a bar or restaurant. It feels like a local tradition. We will definitely be back, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great people, and a place that actually feels alive.
