The service department did not do the work we paid them for. We took our Jeep in for the 100,000…read moremile service checkup. Gave them permission to do anything needed to make us ready for travel. Tune up, brake check, timing belt, oil change, $1,400. When we got the car back the wheels and lugnuts did not look like they had been removed. Less than 3,000 miles later one of the cylinders started misfiring. Check engine light came on. Had a different mechanic replace the coil, plugs and injectors. Discovered that we did not have the new Platinum plugs we were charged for. Then 2 months later the back brakes started to grind so loud I called a tow truck to take me to a local shop. The brake pads and rotors were ground down and needed replacement. There is no way that would not have been caught at the 100,000 mile checkup. I don't trust Donalson's service department and will never return there.

She's getting all of our service business after the truck left me high and dry on the side of the road after the fuel pump control module went out on me! Chevrolet has an ongoing problem with that particular module and they have been replacing them as a defective part. I called my dealer as it happened on a Saturday. They were still open, but were closing in 20 minutes. I told the guy that answered in service what had happened. He didn't even ask my name or phone number and asked me to call back Monday morning!!! I left a message with the Donaldson Service right after. They were closed on Saturday, but Jana called me the first thing right after they opened on Monday morning! She told me what I needed to do and BAM!!! I had my truck in the service department and out by 1:30pm!!!

At the end of the 9 weeks, I called and threatened with a lawyer. My car was fixed at end of that day (btw that's a rental car for those 9 weeks!). When you walk in they don't even acknowledge you and when they finally do they say"be with you in a minute ". Those minutes turn into a long time. The whole dealership needs to clean house! Sometimes it takes longer than other times. I get it. Two people came in after me and left before I did as well, so I got up and started asking questions.. after someone FINALLY acknowledged I was standing there. I'm not sure exactly what the girl did after she took my keys and wrote down mileage, etc., because she absolutely failed to put anything in the computer and nobody could tell me anything. One lady said they were "running behind", another couldn't find any of my information. They said they would put me next in line. I wasn't waiting another who knows how long, so I got in car and left. Absolutely no apology at all or anything. Just pretty much, "We don't know what happened. I don't know what to tell you." I can truly say I've ever had a great experience there to begin with, so this was pretty much the icing on the cake for me. I will absolutely go the extra mile and bring my car to Doggett or Philpott if that means never stepping foot in that place again.
