The Oz truck!!!! Use these guys. You won't be sorry.

Moving doesn't have to be a pain in the ass. I've used Oz three times and will again when needed. They do it all. Full service. They will pack for you if needed.the movers are quick, careful, and professional.

Custom wooden bench - split in 2 by Oz Moving.

No, No, NO, NO. Anybody but OZ - this is not a company you want to do business with. 1. They tell you your items are insured, but in the very, very fine print that you sign only on moving day when your stress level is at an 11 will it be noted that it's only insured BY THE POUND. I accept fault for not reading the paperwork thoroughly while the shady man breathed on me - see #2 below. But be fully aware that when they trash all of your belongings - and they will, see the photos - you will get PENNIES of the value. I submitted a claim and they returned that with a total liability $69.60 on THOUSANDS of dollars of damage. They then sent me a $300 check "in good faith" - that won't even cover the repair to one of the benches that they split in half. 2. They hire the SHADIEST people (at least in NYC - the delivery guys in LA were lovely). The foreman in NY tried to railroad me into giving that NYC crew the ENTIRE tip (instead of 50/50, as is standard in XC moves). I called the sales rep I worked with to question this and he said that the foreman's supervisor would call him. Then all of my stuff was damaged - most definitely in retaliation for my daring to speak up on a TOTAL SCAM. 3. Their delivery window is a full blown LIE. My items were to be delivered December 1-10. They called on December 9 and said they would be there on December 15, which was after I was already out of town for the holidays. When did I finally receive my shipment you ask? That was January 10 - a full month after the window. If you need more info, DM me - I've saved all the receipts, all the photos, all the emails to back up every claim made here and am happy to help anybody avoid this business.

    Bent and cracked TV

Oz Moving & Storage destroyed $3100 worth of our possessions. Oz improperly packed our TV and the screen was bent and cracked upon delivery. They broke our toddler daughter's bed frame, and crushed the mattress -- all of which were essentially brand new. This was the sloppiest move I have ever seen. Boxes were crushed during transit, and they packed items improperly. I would never use Oz again and I'm in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. The company failed to do its basic job. If I could give them 0 stars I would. What is most sad is that they won't reimburse us for the items because we only had basic insurance. However, this was not a dish or lamp breaking by accident, this was our daughter's bed and our TV completely destroyed by improper packing, which was their responsibility. Added 9/5/23: in response to Nancy's comment, I believe it's important to note that the damages were caused by negligence and the failure of the company to do its basic job (moving possessions safely), not a result of a box falling or other accidents that might require insurance. They simply did not do their job.

Moved from LA to NYC used Oz ------- NYC branch was awful. They didn't give us a firm date and so we had to keep extending our hotel stays. That was minimal- the main issue was the delivery. I saw our large Flat screen TV laying on the floor facedown in the wrong room. Which I thought was really weird and Because these three guys were building a huge canopy bed in a small room with a huge TV on the floor, anyone could step on the TV. Finally after hours I said "hey maybe you should move it to the room it's supposed to be in so you don't step on it ". So they move it after I asked them THREE TIMES (!?). Of course when they moved it, I saw why it was laying facedown all day. It was SHATTERED and looked like someone took a baseball bat to it. The movers played dumb, but I knew they broke it and didn't want to tell me. It was obvious, and really shitty. Why else would they leave an expensive TV in the middle of the floor with three men walking over it ? Then they said don't worry the company takes care of this - you'll get a new one. Which is a total lie. After a claim They gave us $600 for the $4,000 TV and various wine, glasses, dishes ect. we just bought 6 months ago (have receipts to show). We just bought EVERYTHING new in December. Pots, glasses, TV you name it. All glasses broke, most of our dishes. I mean anything that could break- broke. It was unbelievable. The movers were very unprofessional and asking me personal questions about what I did for work, about my life in LA, and various things like that. Which is all fine if they were unpacking. I was doing just as much as them towards the end because they were so lazy. The whole move was bad and basically we paid them to break our stuff. The fact the movers played dumb and didn't want me to notice just shows the kind of business and company this is. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION Overall terrible experience, not what you want when moving. The LA team who packed up should have suggested outside insurance if they can't cover for these events. But they assured me the coverage I was offered with them was enough. Total BS. How can this company be in The moving business when they just break all of your items ? Hopefully someone can save themselves from the headache of dealing with OZ. Latisha was awful at communicating with me as well. Overall Bad bad movers.

The staff is courteous and clearly working hard, but the branch seems overwhelmed by the neighborhood traffic. You get about 6 to 8 feet of standing room before you are suddenly at the counter whether you are ready or not. The space itself is nice and open, but the workflow could use reinforcements. More hands or better coordination would go a long way. Compared to other FedEx and Kinko's locations that run like a well oiled machine, this one feels stretched thin most days. I am still glad it is here and open consistently. Just budget a little extra time and patience when you visit.

They had seamlessly loaded the contents of my 650 square foot apartment including large/heavy fragile furniture with glass (8 foot tall dresser with mirror weighing 250 lbs, and 50 galloon reptile tank) in about 1 hour. We promptly left via car to meet them at our new address in Philly, and they arrived at exactly the same time as we did. They unloaded the truck in about an hour again, and helped partially unpack and put items in the proper places, especially the furniture that would have been hard for me to move on my own later. I will continue to use Piece of Cake, and have recommended to several friends over the years that I have been using them. It was quick working with the customer support team initially to quote the move, make payment, and on COIs and confirmation. When we move again in a couple years Piece of Cake will be the only mover I call. My recommendation to others considering the service, be transparent and honest about the contents of your move, especially items requiring extra protection even if there is an additional fee involved. There were no surprise add-ons in my move because we carefully selected every single item that would be included in our move early on in the process, and made sure to reply in detail to the follow up emails regarding insurance, access to the apartments (stairs vs elevator, reserved elevator, etc.), and so on move-in day everything went off without a hitch. My son's birthday party was on January 18th, and if it weren't for this UPS location--and specifically Eyad--I don't know how I would've pulled everything together. The day before my son's party, I was already stressed beyond belief. I had created all of these custom items for his birthday--signs for the party, tags for the kids' goodie bags, tags for adult goodie bags, and even a little wearable necklace for him. Everything was designed, sized perfectly, high-resolution, and ready to go... or so I thought. FedEx put me through absolute hell. Back and forth, telling me the resolution was horrible, the sizing was wrong, that it couldn't be printed, then changing the story again. It became a full-on mess, and at that point I was panicking because this was the day before the party. The theme was Demon Slayer, I had put so much time and care into creating everything, and the thought of not having these pieces was really upsetting. So I went with my first instinct and went to UPS. Eyad sat down with me, pulled everything up, looked through each file, resized things perfectly, and immediately reassured me that everything looked great. He told me the resolution was fine, helped me choose the right paper, and printed everything beautifully. The paper was shiny, the colors were bright, and everything came out exactly how I envisioned it. He even made multiple copies without hesitation. What really stood out was how calm and confident he was. No attitude, no confusion, no unnecessary back-and-forth. Just, "Sure, I can do that. What size do you want? How many do you need?" And then he did it. After being told by FedEx that it couldn't be done, walking into UPS and having someone just handle it with ease was such a relief. I could literally feel my stress melting away. I really wanted to give Eyad his flowers because he absolutely saved my day. And honestly, UPS always comes through for me. Whether I need color prints, black and white, or just general help, their customer service is consistently on point. They pay attention, they know what they're talking about, and they're willing to work with you instead of making you feel like a burden. That day especially meant a lot. I walked in stressed, overwhelmed, and worried, and walked out feeling confident, relieved, and ready for my son's party. Everything came out perfect, and I'm so grateful. If you need printing done--especially last minute--and want to deal with people who actually care and know their stuff, UPS is it. And if Eyad is there, you're in very good hands.

Plenty of misinformation when it came to rates and options. Good luck if you choose to do business…read morehere.

(tldr: lack of communication, damaged boxes and furniture upon arrival, poor quality of service) In the beginning, Jeff was very attentive and made us feel like "Yes! This is the quality of service we're looking for in a company!" and the quoted price was great. He told us everything we needed to know about our move and we were excited to move forward. (Disclaimer: Low price is because they have other moves on the same truck as yours. We figured it wouldn't be a problem... it was.) But once we had our stuff loaded on to the truck, that's when it went all downhill. First things first, the pick-up movers told us how much we should be tipping them (they said they wanted 20%), which was extremely unprofessional. I don't mind if they had just mentioned that tips are appreciated, but to have the balls to flat out tell me you want 20%? Really? I didn't hear from Jeff for about a week after our initial pick-up, and when he did respond, all he could tell me was that our stuff was still waiting to be put onto the truck and our 6 day delivery window remained the same. He told me he would update with information when he had some. I asked him if it was possible to get a tighter delivery window once the truck was in transit and he informed me that once we got closer to the delivery window he'd have a better estimate of when our stuff should be arriving. (At this point, we were 9 days from the first day of our delivery window and 7 days since pick-up.) Another week goes by without any correspondence from Jeff. I'm starting to get a little anxious because it's 2 days from the first day of our delivery window and we have no idea where our stuff is. So I contact him again asking if he had an update. The first day of the delivery window is pushed back a day. Still very vague. I ask again if he could provided a tighter delivery window since we're working people and need to make arrangements to receive this move if it does come on a work day. He said he'll try his best. So now it's the first day of the delivery window! Hurray! But silence on Jeff's end. At this point, we figured he'd have some sort of idea where the truck is and have an idea of when the truck should be arriving to us. I email Jeff and no response. I get that it's a Saturday, but if client is paying thousands of dollars to use your services, just a quick acknowledgement would be appreciated. We get a call later that day from the driver saying he's in the area and will delivery the following day or the next, depending on the other deliveries. Okay, great! But why wasn't Jeff able to provide that information to us? The driver told us that they're not actually a part of Movage and they're hired to do jobs within Movage (which was one of the first questions I asked because I wanted to make sure that the move wasn't being contracted out to third parties), so the drivers themselves weren't even in touch with Movage at all. And then our stuff finally arrives... boxes were damaged, wet, opened, our couch was soaked on one side... I'll let the pictures do the talking. The response we get after we express our extreme disappointment is just a very textbook: "I apologize for any inconvenience. This is not the typical feed back we receive from our customers. I will help you as much as possible as I have tried to do from the first time we spoke. I will attach a claims form to this email. Please fill it out at your earliest convenience so we can start a claim process for you. Thank you." If you're looking to do a long distance move, go with Mayflower. We deeply regret not choosing to go with them in the first place.
