Dubious whether they were even boiled before baking (an absolutely crucial step, if you're really trying to make a proper bagel). Sadly, that is one thing this otherwise wonderful area truly lacks: Were I to open a biz down here, it would surely be a legit bagel emporium, but alas. They use worse eggs than McDonalds. Honestly if an owner sees this review, why do you choose to not use real eggs. Id even pay a little more. Einstein blows you guys out of the water. Im from NJ and I know what good corner bagel shops are. The fact im praising Einstein is really sad. I did a pick up order for a work event and they did a great job selecting a variety of bagels and spreads and they were a big hit with the team. Delicious bagels, great flavors, and very fresh. I ate a couple the next morning and they still tasted fresh - which has not been my experience with other bakeries. I want to love this place - I love bagels and we get them here every time we come to Fayetteville (several times a year). But, this morning they were not the best. All of the bagels we got were under-proofed and underbaked. And, this is not the first time this has happened - in fact, almost every time we come the bagels tend to be this way. They have a very good flavor but they should be bigger (rise more so the hole is smaller) and they should be more brown. It's a very cute casual place and the staff are very efficient and friendly so we'll keep trying, but just wonder why this has been a common occurrence. read more

I've gone here several times and the bagels are good when they are available, but often times there out of bagels. Today I attempted to buy a bagel today at 9:30am but they only had 6 bagels left total. If your looking for a good bagel this is the place, but don't expect them to be reliable in having stock. Just discovered this bakery and HAD to brag on them. They had a dozen or more bagel options available today and told me that they are all made fresh every morning. I ordered 3 Asiago cheese bagels and 3 spinach Parmesan bagels, along with a tub of plain cream cheese from them today. I must say that the bagels are incredibly fresh and flavorful...some of the BEST I have ever had. The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was simple and open. They are slightly out of my normal commute route, but not so far that I am not willing to MAKE it a part of my route. I will ABSOLUTELY come back again. Sooo good! read more

I visit there regularly recently. So far they have coffee that I like from Onyx and I enjoy the Asiago cheese bagel. I really enjoy the spinach Parmesan Bagel with olive cream chees. read more
