A friend told me about the skating rink so I decided to take a few family members and try it. It was just the an amazing experience. I've been to many skating rinks, this one is clean and everybody here is super friendly, such a great atmosphere! The pizza and drinks were included in the price. It adds up if you don't have your own skates, but it was all worth it!!!! We will be back!!! Watching the young speed skaters go under the limbo pole was the highlight of our night! read more

Great place for families. Especially to get some activity on cold winter days. The prices are reasonable for open skate. Usually $5 - $8 and $3 for rentals. Floor is well maintained lots of room for everyone to skate. They mix it up with limbo, four corners, and other games to keep everyone interested. Skaters of all ages so keep your eyes open for the speedsters and the little ones. There's a snack shop with standard options, a skate shop for repairs and a small play area. Skating was fun and the food was ok. I went to skate land for a birthday party and the man was very kind but SHERRIE is very rude to children and proceeded to not let the birthday girls compete in a limbo challenge because they had fallen a phew times and overall the experience was great until the devil in and disguise (Sherrie) ruined the experience if I was the manager she would immediately be fired and BANNED from the premises. read more

A group of us, were super excited for adult skate night. We wanted to do something different with good music and a good atmosphere. When we first got to skating we did a couple laps to get adjusted since we aren't super experienced skaters. We were being clapped at to go immediately to the middle orange line (center) and also told to go faster. The announcer called us out many times on the overhead speaker to make sure us slower skaters were in line and that others could go around us. I would not suggest to go to adult skate night unless you are a very experienced skater so it's not uncomfortable. read more

My kids enjoy skating here. It's nice to send them on a Saturday because it not only gets them out of the house, but the fee that you pay to get in lasts for approx. 5 1/2 hours. It's an easy drop off and play option to replace those screens in the house that are out too often during cold weather. Food, toys, games.... the kids love it. read more

My husband and I attended our niece's birthday party at this establishment. We have been here a few other times and the experience has been as expected for a roller rink but we witnessed what we previously heard is a trend with the owner which is not surprising given the state of his establishment. The facility is in a kind of worn down business area and the owner was sitting at his the counter watching security camera feeds of his parking lot instead of attending to the customers during the middle of an afternoon of birthday parties, including ours. During our visit and at previous parties, he has patrolled his parking lot and passive aggressively Gorilla taped No Parking signs to cars including patrons of our party. This particular afternoon, as we stood at the entrance, he engaged in a profanity laced childish exchange with an equally upset patron questioning why the owner was messing with other people's property/cars and taping excessively sticky signs to cars instead of calling authorities to handle his perceived parking situation. I would expect an owner of a family establishment to conduct himself better not only in front of patrons but in front of children regardless of what he thinks he is "defending", especially a mostly empty large parking at the time. He might consider worrying more about his aging, smelling facility, sketchy bathrooms and poor food rather than provoking people at or around his facility. He also might consider worrying about the paying customers inside his facility as much as he does his parking lot rather than trying to bully those outside of it with roles of Gorilla tape and signs. It was a fun discussion at the party and we will all make sure we never patronize his establishment again and we all be sure to tell everyone we know what we witnessed and how he conducted himself the afternoons we have been there. We live in a small community nearby and will be sure to let everyone we know to avoid this for family entertainment. read more

This place seems nice for reasonable people who take their kids to family open skate--there's video games and a bouncy house and all-you-can-eat-pizza nights, etc. If, however, you're the kind of person who's getting in roller derby and is looking for a place to practice your crossovers without running over children--Skateland will be very good to you indeed. Go to cheap skate night on Thursday--$3 during the school year, and rarely crowded. Skateland sells wheels and skates--talk to Chuck (owner, manager?), who's helpful and knowledgeable. Skateland also hosts Derby Lite and, sometimes, unofficial practice nights for Brewcity Bruisers folks. Great place. read more

I spent many nights of my childhood/teen years at this skating rink. It was the thing to do. Now, as an adult, I had the opportunity to go back because I was taking a little girl, that I used to babysit for, roller skating for her first time. Boy, did it bring back memories, and that made me feel REALLY old. It was a Sunday. We went for the 12:30-6 session. It was $4 for each of us, plus $2 for skate rental. We got our skates, which were the brown ones with orange wheels. I think that we could have gotten speed skates or inlines if we requested them, at no additional charge. My only issue was that the skates only come in full sizes, and my foot is exactly 7.5. 7 is too small and 8 is too big. But, I just had to make due. There were about 8 birthday parties going on. So, many of the tables were reserved. I put her skates on and then I put mine on when we could find a place to sit. The place is very kid friendly and the Sunday sessions are great for beginner skaters. I've been other places on the days that were meant for kids and families, and it was just full of teenagers doing tricks and going very fast, and not at all good for kids. At those places, even somebody like me who is a decent skater, you feel like you are really skating at your own risk and that you could be run over or run into at any moment. That was definitely not the case here. There are arcade games, which are quite tempting to any kid. They also have a big inflatable slide bouncy thingy. Let me just say that when you are trying to teach a 5.5 year old kid to skate, that giant inflatable play thing is way too distracting. But, it is definitely a good thing to have there, although it costs as additional $2, for birthday parties and parents whose backs are killing them because all they have been doing is picking a child up off the floor who just can't seem to get the hang of roller skating. I love it there, especially compared to the other rinks in the greater Milwaukee area. And, I can't wait to take her back to see how she does. I'm sure she will catch on. read more

It's a nice place to bring your family to get some exercise during the fall and winter. They host a lot of kids partys here and it can be overwhelming trying to skate amongst so many small kids at one time. They do some games during the skate sessions which breaks things up a bit. Cell phone coverage is sketchy for me when I've been there and the biggest pet peeve I have is the weird bathroom stalls for the ladies. The doors start above where you sit. It's the scariest bathroom I've ever been in. Clean but private? Nope. The facility does have a snack bar with food and drink and video games and play area for small non skating kids. Overall a good value especially during family skate night. read more

It was really fun. The only sucky thing was that the bathroom stalls were able to see you using the bathroom.

The people were very nice, the food was way over priced, very clean, cool vibe to it and cheap to get in. Depends on the DJ but most of the time they play the music you like. read more
