We have been coming here since our daughter was just an infant. But when she got a little bit older we felt very comfortable seeing the Chinooks because it is a small enough park that we can keep an eye her, but my husband and I get to enjoy some baseball. They have some really terrific theme nights. The last time we visited we got to meet Milwaukee Brewers legend Rollie Fingers. parking is free, but it is a little bit of a walk to get to the park. Unlike at other places, they supply a convenient golf cart to take you up to the gate if you have a hard time walking a distance. To be honest, we sometimes take the golf cart just because our nine-year-old loves it! There is a nice variety of food available at the park along with bounce houses and some activities for kids. I highly recommend coming to check out a game here. It is affordable for a family and a great time.

The Chinooks called us "dip shits". A parent from the Chinooks tells our boys to "shut the fuck up" and when we retaliate by saying the parents were making themselves look ridiculous, another dad said two wrongs don't make a right and got mad at our parents for being upset about the swearing at children. This team never fails to make a fool out of themselves, and the parents were absolutely unhinged. nobody felt safe leaving, everyone feeling unsafe about the chinooks parents. do better, this is little league baseball.

Also, they do this for fun! Realize these women "by day" are lawyers, teachers, nurses, hair stylists, businesses owners and all the like from around SE WI. And the PUNS - at the start they always announce the four teams - Crazy Eights, Maiden Milwaukee, Rushin' Roulettes and the Shevil Knevils. Not only are the team names cool enough, but each woman comes up with her own unique name and persona for the team she's on - my current favorite player's names include: - SUSAN B ANARCHY - MADAME FURIE - ANITA D'GROIN - MILWAUKEE'S BREAST (I mean .... come on!) Also, I cannot count how many times I've been at a derby bout and ran into someone from the "real world" I know - they're always supporting a player - daughter, wife, friend, etc. and it just reminds you what a cool and somewhat underground culture it is, and how many people are actually impacted by the BCB. It takes a little getting use to understanding how the "jammers" score points, but after you watch a couple of bouts, you quickly get into the swing of things. The Brewcity Bruisers rumble usually January through May at the Panther arena which is filled with delicious snacks and beer to squelch those halftime woes. The cheer leading squad "The Beerleaders" always add extra special touches with choreographed dances during half time. If you haven't went yet, get there and make sure to pick up some BCB merch reppin' your favorite team (you'll already have one by the end of your first visit.)

Parking is usually 1-2 blocks nearby and I noticed a few bars offering shuttles. So it's a good idea to support those bars as well. I'm not sure how often this happens but of the 3 times I've went 2 people have been hurt enough to stop the game. Leave it to say this is not a sport for prancing around the oval. I really like how the intros are very professional with the use of the scoreboard and announcers use of Twitter to interact with the fans in the seats.. food 4 Amb 4 expect more improvements at this location service 5 location 5 value 5 23/2016

There's a decent disc golf course (tricky), three soccer fields (two on one side, one way on the other), a nice little hike, and the area is popular with dog owners, most of whom clean up after their best friends. Essentially, it's a giant field house that can accommodate any and all types of sporting matches you can think of (save for swimming, ice skating, etc.) You get the idea. A giant giant indoor space can be divided into four different spaces, and rental rates are relatively inexpensive. For larger spectator events, the Sports Complex staff will do parking, security, concessions, etc. There are large-ish locker rooms and ample bathrooms for a place of this size. They have bleachers. The have outdoor fields as well for soccer, baseball, and whatever else you could want to play outside. We played our first four Bruiser home seasons here, and despite the fact that it's not exactly centrally located (it's all the way out in Franklin), it suited our growing needs just fine. (Now, however, we've moved to the US Cellular Arena, as we could no longer fit our fan base into the Sports Complex.) It's a nice addition to our parks system, and a great place for kids/amateur/recreational sporting matches. It was great for our BCB home season too, but change is good, too.

True, winter means snow storms, bone chilling winds, shoveling, icy roads & lots of other things we'd all rather forget. But, winter also brings opportunities for a wide array of great outdoor activities, including a traditional favorite--ice skating. Longacre Skating Pavilion & skating rink are right next to Stormonth Elementary school at 7343 N Longacre Rd. The skating rink has one area for free skating & a 2'nd for ice hockey. Although, stray pucks tend to find their way into the free skating area. The ice surface can be pretty bumpy. Nobody around here owns a Zamboni! Skaters are invited to go inside the pavilion to warm up, the fireplace is awesome & always ablaze on weekends. The skating pavilion also hosts games & events. Free parking is available.
