What? How can the new location not have a review yet?!…read more Brian and Kelly had been such a pleasure to work with. Weddings can be stressful to plan but Distinctive Floral Designs gave us one less stressor. Making an appointment is easy and they are very responsive with emails (which is my preferred method of communication due to the nature of my job). I had wanted "romantic" and "blush pink vintage" with the flowers and that is what I got. I am a super indecisive person and Kelly had been nothing but patient. She really helped to develop my vision into a reality by giving suggestions and her opinions when needed. Plus they did an awesome job decorating our wedding cake to exactly the way I had wanted it. Everything from the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces were delivered to their designated locations on time (phew!). Their prices are very reasonable in my opinion and in fact, was below my budget. The only thing is that when I received my bridal bouquet, quite a few of the dark pink flowers were smushed, perhaps due to transport? Perhaps those flowers are more delicate and the bouquet is too full? I have no idea but I'm sure no one noticed it except myself. Either way, I am very happy with their services and would recommend all around. Thanks Brian and Kelly!

That's what I asked for in her arrangements and what we got was beyond amazing! I enjoyed working with them to find the right style and they were very accommodating to our specific needs. They even added their own touches of creativity, which we so loved! We're happy that we were able to send Mom off with the grace and style she showed throughout her entire lifetime. Thank you again!

Setting the flowers to music in my mind we walked along the large glass display case, looking for ideas although white color was going to be the sprite for the spray. The music involved brass instruments, I do not know what they were but they were drawing my thoughts upwards, towards a place we all one day will be. Down in the dirt physically, up on the shiny escalator for the long slow ride upstairs. All of this is too much for me as I am not particularly visual, how do I settle on an arrangement. Enter the girlfriend with whom I can rely to make the decisions when I stumble in the decision making process. What is suitable in size and color? Does it stand or sit in a vase? The vase flowers in white were a fine choice, appropriate and elegant and not overly dripping with sympathetic sadness, yet a color that could reflect light casting illuminations back towards the saddened and sorrowful crestfallen family.

We paid a deposit when booking and were told they understood exactly what we wanted and that we were the only wedding booked for our date at the time. As the wedding approached, we repeatedly had to call and visit the shop to correct details that had been forgotten or misunderstood. We also did not receive a contract until much later in the process, despite already having paid a deposit and having made our arrangements. That was definitely a learning experience for us, and we now know how important it is to have everything clearly documented from the beginning. Unfortunately, even after all of the communication and corrections, when we picked up our flowers the day before our wedding, every single arrangement was wrong, including the bridal bouquet. We had provided specific pictures and clear instructions. The request was simple: roses were supposed to be reserved for the bride, with different white flowers used throughout the rest of the wedding. Instead, roses were used in everything. When we brought this to their attention, we were essentially told that these were the flowers that had been ordered and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. We were also told there were multiple weddings that day, but that should never come at the expense of providing customers with what they ordered. The flowers also could not be delivered the morning of the wedding as originally expected. Thankfully, another florist was able to step in and fix what they could, but having to deal with this the day before our wedding was incredibly stressful and disappointing. What was most frustrating was not simply that a mistake was made, it was the lack of accountability and customer service afterward. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything. Our wedding day was beautiful despite this experience, but this was absolutely not what we expected after investing a considerable amount of money and communicating our vision so many times. I sincerely hope this was a major mistake and not intentional, but regardless, I would strongly recommend future couples get everything in writing from the beginning, make sure every detail is documented, and double-check everything before trusting this florist with their wedding day. I ordered a dozen long stem pink roses for my mother for Mother's Day because she specifically…read moreloves pink roses. The arrangement shown on the website was a beautiful bouquet of vibrant pink roses arranged elegantly in a tall vase with full presentation and volume. I expected to receive exactly what was advertised in both quality, color, and arrangement. Instead, what my mother received looked completely different. The roses delivered were peach-colored, not pink, and the arrangement did not look like the picture shown on the website at all. Peach is not pink, and this was not a slight shade variation, it was an entirely different color. The flowers did not resemble the advertised product I ordered. I accidentally selected the following week for delivery instead of Mother's Day weekend, but I caught the mistake the very same day and immediately called the store. I explained the error and clearly stated that if they could not accommodate a Mother's Day delivery, they could simply cancel the order. I was told it was absolutely no problem and that they could accommodate it, so there was no issue with timing. The real issue came when I called to ask why peach roses were sent instead of the pink roses I specifically ordered. The man who answered said he was the owner, and instead of professionally addressing the concern, his first comment was a snarky remark asking if I was the one who "ordered last minute." This was unnecessary and inaccurate since I had corrected the delivery date the same day I placed the order and was assured it would not be a problem. He then told me he chose the "pink shade" he thought was best to send. Peach roses are not pink roses, and I did not ask for him to make that decision for me. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, or offering a proper resolution, he became rude and dismissive. He asked if the problem was that my mother didn't like them or if I didn't like them, completely missing the point. He then states if she doesn't like it we can go and pick the flowers up and this is after they had already been delivered, which is both impractical and disrespectful. I also explained that I had previously worked with someone else at the store who kindly sent me photos of the pink rose options they had in stock so I could confirm the exact shade before delivery. Instead of appreciating that effort, he responded by saying she "went above and beyond" and that they are not supposed to do that. Sending two quick photos when a customer is ordering from out of state is not extraordinary customer service, it is basic professionalism. If a florist cannot provide the exact color or arrangement being advertised, the professional thing to do is call the customer and allow them to decide how they would like to proceed. You do not make substitutions income without approval especially when I spoke to someone at their store regarding the pink shade and then argue when the customer questions it. What is the point of showing customers pictures of specific arrangements on your website if you are just going to send whatever you want? If you cannot provide what is being advertised, you should communicate that first instead of deciding for the customer. This entire experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I paid for pink roses and received peach-colored roses that looked nothing like what I ordered. The owner's rude attitude and refusal to acknowledge the mistake made the situation even worse. I would not recommend this florist based on both the product quality and the unacceptable customer service.
