We stepped out to price some games for our newly remodeled basement. After visiting the Kennesaw location, we will NOT be placing our order with Ozone Recreation. We were the only customers in the store and hardly received any help. The employees (2) did not welcome us or even proactively try to assist. They seemed totally disinterested, which we found strange for salespeople. One appeared to be knowledgeable enough, but we had to pull out every piece of information regarding pool tables, shuffleboards and arcade games. By the way, I support giving customers time and space to explore inventory, but this wasn't the case at all. We had to initiate every interaction. It felt cheap. The showroom is located in a dilapidated strip mall. We pulled in on a weekend afternoon and there were no cars in the lot. We seriously wondered if we misread store hours. Nope - we arrived in the middle of the workday. Everyone loves a good deal, but the lack of effort from the employees was highly concerning (as other Yelpers have experienced). It's way too big of a purchase for us to risk on a business or team with such a lackadaisical, uninvolved approach to customer service. I do not recommend Ozone Recreation. read more

After almost 20 years out of the pool hall scene I decided to dust off my cues and start up my once beloved hobby obsession. Since all my old local billiards stores had long since closed up shop I decided to browse online. My original intention was to check out a store about 40 miles away from home but living in the Los Angeles area, that drive in traffic is not so quick and easy. Somehow I stumbled onto the Ozone Billiards website and merely intended to window shop. When I noticed I could order a new shaft, I went for it. After placing the order it dawned on me that my cue being 20 years old, the new shaft joint may not be the same so I emailed the manufacturer. Sure enough I found out the joints were not the same. At this point it was a day or two after placing the order. I emailed Ozone to ask if it were possible to cancel and not only did they accommodate, they issued a full refund instantly. I was so impressed with the customer service I took the plunge and ordered a Lucasi custom cue. Now the best parts of ordering from them? For starters, on some of their higher end cues, they offer a free cue case or pay upgrade fees for better/bigger cases. My fave upgrade though, they can personalize the cue and/or case with your name! Pricing is very consistent and competitive with other online retailers, so the upgrade selections are what won my business over the other stores. The ground shipping was relatively quick considering I had my name etched on the cue and a quick roll test on the pool table proved the cue to be solid and straight. My biggest fear was getting stuck with a warped shaft and having to deal with a return but no such issues here. All in all, I was very satisfied with this first time purchase and will return for another cue. May have to shop for a bigger case now that my cue collection is growing. read more

Awful nonexistent customer service. Placed an order for a pool table end of November and have had to call 3 times a week for status checks. After one month of delays with shipping they told me they didn't have staff to handle the shipping. After much pressure it was shipped to an installer 3 hours away from me and no paper work was sent to installer. They were never advised the table was on its way and now there is a delay in installing it because Ozone won't return calls to give them the authorization that it was paid for! Had some delivery schedule issues with my pool table, but have to give Ozone credit for making it right. I bought in early January and they scheduled Feb 23 delivery. Close to that date I called for an update and they pushed delivery out to April 8th because it was backordered at the manufacturer. With that being 6-7 weeks from what we agreed on, obviously I was not happy. But they went out of their way to do the right thing. The GM reached out and scheduled a delivery of the floor model of the table I had ordered right around my original delivery date and agreed to come swap it out to my new table as soon as it arrived from the manufacturer. When something does go wrong, which can happen to any business, you have to respect a company that's willing to step up and make it right. I ordered the pure white pool table felt from their online store dec. 6th. Just called customer service to check and see when it would arrive and guess what? It hasnt even left the warehouse!! LOL not to mention I was told that because they HADNT updated their website the pure white felt I ordered *for $133* actually has black specks in it. NOW I have to tell my husband what I got him for Christmas TO MAKE SURE HE IS OKAY WITH SOME BLACK SPECKS ON HIS FELT. The breaking Pool Cue was a great investment. There were many cues to choice from within the price range I had in mind. I play 3 times a week, APA 8 & 9 ball and NAPA limited "Lagers Choice". I have been using it for a couple of weeks now & and I have been making more balls on the break than I have before. For every 5 breaks I have, at least one or more balls fall in out of 4 breaks. It has made me more confident during my game. The reviews were right on & I enjoy using the breaking cue. The quality was as advertised and the shipment arrived quickly. Should have shipped Thursday and i would receive on Tuesday. called Tuesday and they said it never shipped. they would upgrade for free to overnight. which would mean wednesday but that didn't happen. then we got a storm on thursday. so my stuff arrived Friday evening. 3 days late! Called on Wednesday and did not ship so they were upgrading to next day because I was leaving town. Got an email from Ozone today that they were shipping next day, then got and email from UPS that they shipped 2nd day so it will arrive after I leave town. I looked for a year at all the models, Wayfair, Sam's, independent dealers, Saltwater options (I do not recommend). So I was well informed by the time I got with Mike at the Norcross location with Ozone. He was spot on with pros and cons and told me before I purchased what Covid-19 delays might do to timing. After listing to why I wanted this purchase, he talked me in to the lower cost Jacuzzi J335 because it would fit us size and use wise better. ( The App to run it is great!) After we got it, I realized he was absolutely correct. Yes, we had issue after the install. It is a hot tub! You need to expect that! That's why I was glad I purchased mine at Ozone. If you want a hot tub that Melvin's snag and drag movers has to hall off in 12 months, get it off the web. Yes a I paid more than the Wayfair ones, but I am glad I did. Support was fantastic! I had a PEOPLE I could call and text and they responded!! Mark in support got the issues spot on! We got everything addressed! Yes I am still waiting on a part for an item that needs to be replaced! They have called me and kept me up to date before I could call them. We are in a Covid-19 world now, expect a delay or two! But they got us working around it!
