We have been going to this place for a while and never had an issue but recently they hired some blond lady who seems to be harassing us, she kicked us out. She said we seemed drunk shortly after arrival when playing pool (we had 2 pitchers between 4 people). We had arrangements to leave in an uber but she seemed to be determined to say we were being irresponsible when taking shots. She kicked us out but then did not hand us our card that we had given them. No one in our party was irresponsible or unruly, we were trying to have a good time and we left feeling harassed. read more

I have been going for a few months. It's hit and miss. I love the bartender on the weekends that just got married. She is personable and packs in the patrons. I have experienced a mix bag of personality. I always critique where I patronize. I come from the hospitality state Florida. In going in today I was told (me only) that the ATM was down. "Not sure why they fixed it last night", other people found it in disrepair too and were given money for their check card and not warned. I was told owner said no money for banks so you are limited. I found the door open on the ATM and said, "glad I saw it and closed it" Reply "it's okay you can't get anything there is another door" no thank you no nothing. Spent 3 hours there and only had a total of a 1 minute if that conversation. The older gentlemen at front were entertained for hours. I tipped a total of $14. for a 31. tab, and was totally dissed by this bartender, Why? She was so obvious other patrons came to me and apologized. I waited at least 10 minutes for a drink and had to ask 2-3 times. No one else had that problem but me. Hospitality is welcoming, warm, friendly, and you want to come back. This was so upsetting I won't come back during the week. read more

I had an excellent experience there. Tables are in great shape. They are kept clean and there is plenty of room around the majority of them. I don't have experience with the bar aspect of it but with regard to a billiard room iits excellent. The room is comfortable. Seating is also comfortable your not perched on bar stools like other places. read more

Pretty cool little hole in the wall of of 92. I have to confess, I do love Karaoke! I have been here a couple different time with friends and we actually have had a ball. Food is ok, really nothing to rave about. The atmosphere is ok too but they do allow smoking inside which is kinda a bummer. Here's a tip; If you want to Karaoke GET THERE EARLY! If not you will be sitting all the way in the back and have less of a chance to get on stage. I've been to better Karaoke places in the area but this is pretty convenient. read more

I love Big Shots! These other reviews are pretty harsh and fail to offer a real insight into what Big Shots really has to offer. The 'dindgy' facade is actually quite homey and the staff treats reasonable customers very well! Past that they offer pool by the hour for a reasonable rate and the beer and liquor is so beyond fairly priced it completely makes up for the 'looks' the place lacks. If you want a hometown bar to find a good time in, Big Shots is a great place to start or finish that search. There is a vibe of fellowship on weekend karaoke nights that few places in town can match. Plus the nachos are completely A+ read more

Terribly slow and unfriendly service on a few occasions that I have been there but last night was the worse yet. The pool hall side was understandably busy but the waitress there hung out with her friends more often than checking on other guests. We were right next to her group of friends and each time she came by to chat it up with them or take a shot with them, she never once asked how we were doing or if we needed anything else. We had several people needing food or a drink and when one of us in our group needed something we had to always look for her or call for her. Management came by one time to deliver our order but never came back again. I was there my self for over 3 hrs and the waitress came by once because someone had called her over while she was entertaining her friends. To add insult to injury when we were wrapping up the pool tab and items that we managed to order, we were advised that there was a mandatory gratuity which was a percentage she nor management earned or deserved. Then proceeding to the bar after being done with pool side because we were so frustrated with the service in the on that end, we were met subpar service there as well. Service is always slow there but last night was by far the worst yet. The bar food never disappoints though!! It is definitely above average bar food. Unfortunately, it may not be enough to make our group to return after repeated slow service in the times we've been there. We've tried to chalk it up as being busy initially but there gets to a point where you spend good money and feel that service should not be compromised. read more

When the bartender wasn't to busy taking her own shots or sucking face with a guy in the hallway, we may of gotten better service, doubt it, but anything is possible. Some years ago, I got used to be after 8pm or so on Saturdays almost every week, at some point and due to the progressive decline on the level of service my visits decreased as well. Decent food and the pool tables are nice. Two weeks ago I made the mistake of visiting around 3pm or so on a Saturday. After almost 10 minutes of being standing waiting for someone to show and provide the balls for a pool table and looking at the waitress on the bar, looking at me and not doing anything other than just keep talking to some guys she was with I think; instead I suppose the woman on the kitchen realized I was waiting and came and told me what I wanted, so I told her I found disappointing that being kind of a regular customer I get treated this bad and I wanted to know why the waitress would not do her job, so she goes to the bar and ask that waitress to come, WITH ONE OF THE GUYS she was talking approaching as well. So I asked why should I wait like 10 minutes for someone to serve and she just went off her mind replying: "it wasn't 10 minutes" so I asked her "how much time do you want me to be waiting until you decide to do your job then?" and she went mute, so at this point the other woman offers like free pool and I answered that is not about having free pool but rather a better customer service and then she immediately tells me that I should be leaving, finally I just ask this other woman is that the way to treat regular customers and she says "I don't care if you are regular or not, and you don't understand when I say that you should be leaving now" at which point the waitress and this woman just went back to the bar and the kitchen respectively... I don't know if the owner is a bad person as some other reviews state, but I wonder if he would side with these employees of him/her... who knows but then again, there are many other places to visit so this is only a disappointment and certainly a place I will stop going to. read more

Not a bad place to shoot pool. Lots of tables with little to no wait. The wait staff and bar tenders are friendly and the prices are about average. They usually have entertainment on the weekends too which is always interesting. Always a friendly crowd. read more

I've been to this place many times and I've seen a lot of changes as far as the clientele is concerned. However, I see why this place only has two stars. The service is shitty, and the owner is a jerk. However, I've given this place many chances to change my perception about it and many times I've been let down. When I first started going the place was off the hook, now it just SUCKS! There's not enough words in the english language to describe the feelings I have for this place. At less something changes or they get new ownership and clientele, I won't be coming back anytime soon. I would not recommend this place to anyone accept for the karaoke. Good riddance! read more

Been here many times and love the karaoke and the staff. Ashley is awesome. Good, strong drinks, and the bar food is alright. I am only giving it 4 stars because of the horrible cigarette smoke. I've been sick a few times after a night out at Big Shots. If you like karaoke it's a super fun, low-key spot. However, they should seriously consider changing the smoking policy or at least do something to improve the ventilation, especially for the sake of the staff. read more
