purchase my 14' spa in foot 2020. I am very happy with my spa. Like everyone else. for me i had minor issues like my sound went out. I was patient cause i had bluetooth small speakers on hand. Yes i had a major problem in 2021 with manufactor defect and the owner came out after i have taken many pictures for proof of my claim. problem resolved. 2025 I Need to change my spa covers, Georgia heat and age I guess wore then out. Purchased a hot tub from the team. Smooth sailing through the purchase and was easy. I had them install the hot tub on a new composite deck that was built. The delivery team damaged a couple boards, I called and they immediately responded and went out of their way to help replace the damaged parts. Once I filled up the tub I realized during the manufacturing an air line was damaged and was causing the tub to leak. I called them again and they got someone out as quickly as possible to fix the issue. They are very customer oriented and helpful. I don't think I would have gotten the response or care with another company. Definitely would recommend them! read more

We bought our Caldera Tahitian from Basement and Backyards April of 2020 for almost $10K. I wanted a cheaper spa but my husband wanted to spend more on a tub that would "not require much maintenance", little did we know that nothing would work correctly on this tub. We were excited about the healthier salt water system but unfortunately this spa's salt water system never worked despite dumping the water over 6 times and buying and installing at least 4 salt water cartridges. When we call Caldera they send us to the vendor. We seem to have issues from the beginning, upon delivery of the tub we were told that the installers would know if the tub needed to be leveled. The installers broke my pavers and told us no need to level the tub. When the owner Derrick came out to get the tub/salt water up and running he told us we needed get the installers to come back and level the tub some of the jets were not underwater. Over the next couple months we could not get the salt system to work correctly, Derrick sent out a guy who barely checked the tub and told us "it smells good and looks good so it must be good" however no chlorine would register in the tub without us manually adding. For our anniversary we decided to buy the $600 stereo system since the tub was sold with speakers. My husband spent 2 days on his hands and knees installing and getting other opinions of why the stereo would not work only to find out once Derrick sent his stereo guy out that all the speakers were bad and they would need to be replaced at their expense. Once they were installed we could never get the Bluetooth to connect to the phones so we could listen to music in the spa. We are now 9 months in and we have never gotten the salt system to work, the tub foams every time we use it and stereo still won't connect. This tub would be great if it worked right but continues to disappoint. read more

Bought a hot tub on Saturday July 6th. Had been shopping around and the sale that they were having made it a no brainer purchase. Having owned a tub for over three years I didn't really need the salespeople to answer any questions, and they respected this, not saying that they didn't communicate with me. Delivery was Monday the 8th. Was amazed at how quick. Tub was delivered, put in place, wired and the easy lift for the cover installed. Along with a set of stairs. Everything perfect, except a head rest was missing. Called the store the next day, left a message explaining the problem. Received a call back in about a half hour. The salesman, sorry cannot remember your name, told me that he had the headrest in his hand and offered to bring it to my home within the hour! I informed him that we would not be home, and since the store was on my way home from work that I would pick it up the next day. The next day I walked into the store and he saw me, met me before i was 20 foot into the store with the headrest in hand. They apologized profusely, and I told him that I understand things happen. The purchase was the easy part. The hot tub was installed on 9/25/2020. On Sunday, October 11, 2020 I realize I have a leak. I call Monday to have someone come out and look at it, and I do not hear back from anyone. I call back again on Wednesday and the person at the desk said "we sent him text messages and he has not called us back" WTH? You only have one person that handles your repairs. Well that is a problem. So I ask for the owners name and they give me Derrick and Adam. I speak to Adam on Wednesday and he said I will have him call you. He calls me (I am at work), and ask me if I can look at something. I told him, I do not know anything about hot tubs and cannot diagnose the problem. He said can you call me when you get home. I want you to look at something. I got home after 9:00pm, so I called him the next day. I called 3 times and his voice mail is full. No return calls. So now its Friday and I am calling Adam again. Adam says we only use that one person and I will call him again to get him out there. Honestly, if I knew this was how the customer service would be after I purchased the hot tub I would of went somewhere else. I have had the hot tub less then a month and this is what I paid for. Customer Service and the warranty process is everything to me and unfortunately they are slacking in both. read more
