We arrived at 4:30 for a tournament that started at 6:00. We arrived before 5:00 because this establishment advertises free pool with lunch before 5. We practiced and ate some food. I returned the balls and explained we are coming right back. When we came back we were assigned a table for the tournament and then told we had to wait for the opponent to arrive. It was after 6 and the guy didn't show until 7:35. According to general tournament guidelines - game is forfeited after 15 minutes if a no show. Rules are apparently not applicable for regulars. So we waited. We ordered drinks and we're then informed the balls from earlier weren't rwturned and I would be charged $12. Really? The young lady insisted that the promo did not apply. I showed her the ad and she said she had to ask her manager. Really? Turns out it is the same lady who was bending tournament rules. Otherwise... Lots of pool tables. Big place. Good music. Limited menu but ok for a pool hall. Bad management. You decide. Addendum- we went outdide for 10 minutes after proving we were right regarding free pool. Then we were forfeited for that round. On top of that- we were refused to have entry fee returned. These people are rude and make the rules up to suit their nickle and diming false accusations. The servers are mediocre too. The biggest offense is how badly maintained the pool tables are. Disgraceful. What a dump! I will be informing affiliates and officials of our experience. read more

It doesn't look like much from the outside, and the strip mall definitely needs some upgrades (when I visited there was a mobile lamp post, which suggests that the night life might get a little rowdy). Inside, however, it's a little more polished, at least as far as pool halls go, but they do permit smoking inside, so if that's an aversion you might not enjoy it here. I went over to the bar to get a table, and the bartender let me know that pool time is free during lunch hours M-F with a $10-12 purchase (per person). That said I ordered the philly melt with curly fries and a beer. For free pool, the sandwich was decent, but the fries were better by comparison. It was almost packed at 7:30pm on a Monday. There was one table available and the bartender was quick to ask if I needed help. I told him I wanted the table, he told me okay at first and 20 seconds later he told me the table was taken even though I had been there for 10 minutes to check out the whole place and nobody was using the table and there weren't any balls on the table. The quality of all the tables seem good. They allow smoking, so get ready to smell like ashtray after staying there for an hour. read more

Cool Pool Hall that has attentive, friendly, and hospitable staff. A friend and I went and was quickly served. We went to the Bar to get our pool table vs the front desk. For non-smokers though, it may be too much as smoking is permitted inside..after awhile our eyes were burning lol. I do wish they keep a smoking section outside vs inside. read more

I imagine the cook is either an 8 year old, or a blind homeless man who burnt his tastebuds off quite a while back. Only the finest of ingredients were purchased in the clearance / manager mark downs section of the save a lot. The crapshoot of bartenders is entertaining enough to become a regular. The roll of the dice to find out if you'll have a cute one with good service but weak drinks or a ditzy one with horrible service and strong drinks, or a stoner that gets lost for long periods but forgets to add drinks in POS, and everything in between. Smoking inside- of course that sucks you know for your lungs and skin and such but great for attracting the kind of crowd you wanna party with, the kind you want to pull an all nighter with. It's the kind of place you're either desperate looking for or vehemently avoid, depending on your poison. If you're the kind of person who takes pictures of there meal, or needs to post any Instagram shots for your followers , or want to pick up a clean attractive person, or have a quiet place to relax this is not your place. Not a new or fancy pool hall but great place nonetheless. Equipments are pretty good and I was playing a 9ball tourney hosted by Katie and it was really well organized. All in all a player's hall and importantly they've pretty good food and that's a tall order for a pool hall. read more

Great place to go if you don't mind smoking, the regulars here can be a little bit off putting but the staff is usually friendly. The prices are pretty good if you want to shoot pool but I wouldn't recommend eating here. My only complaint would be I wish it was more welcoming to newer people, but otherwise it's a great place to relax and rack em up! read more

Awesome place to shoot pool if that's your thing...and it is. my. thing. Went in tonight to sign up to play with the APA league. Bartender Lauren was sweet and pointed me in the right direction when I first got there. This place is big with tons of regulation pool tables in good condition. League players were plentiful as APA holds tournaments here 4 nights a week. Server Erin was equally as pleasant and even used my name when I was cashing out. Impressive, given service at other locales. Didn't eat tonight, but definitely will next time. Their website is perfectly informative and they offer tons of specials throughout the week. I plan to check in here like some people check in at the gym. I expect I'll earn the (coveted) Duke or Barron of Cue's badge by week's end by default... I took away one star because the hall needs better air circulation. Every part of your body smells like smoke when you leave even on on pool nights. Pro: Availability of free pool time for ladies and APA members. I've had great servers. They try really hard and friendly too. Food is great for bar food. I bring my own cues so I have no opinion on their cues. I've been able to purchase what I need from the cue shop. Friendly service. Needs sprucing. I walked in and joined a great league team. Normally when we come here, our service is great. Tonight, we brought some friends and our service was HORRIBLE. Our food came out great but we had to find our waitress every time we needed a drink refill of water or alcohol! Our friends entree came out before our appetizers and she was finished eating before our food came out. Our waitress was too busy trying to cater to empty tables, as in getting their ashtrays off the tables to get us more drinks to rack up our tabs- she had red curly hair with a braid/dread in it and she didn't seem happy from the time she greeted us. I originally started playing here because of their free pool policy for APA members. If it weren't for this very generous offer, odds are I never would have even got into billiards in the first place! Had lunch there today around 12:30. Only 1 TV working, Keno machine not working, "no ice tea but it's being worked on". Frozen hamburger and frozen fries were as bad as I've ever had. Looks like it would be a good place to play pool, but no way would I ever eat there again. read more

Worse place ever. Bartenders need to understand the importance of good customer service! Very rude blonde male bartender. It took literally 15mins before he greeted my two friends and I. Also he stated " I would think you would understand that I have other customers to tend to, so I have to make this fast" like he forgot to ring our corn dogs. Me and my partner have been going to this location for almost 3 years now. Back then, we used to adore this place. The drink prices are very customer friendly, they offer industry night for others in the services business and they receive free pool 3 nights a week, which is awesome. We are regulars that come often(3-4 nights a week average) and of course we tip more than expected. The bartenders used to be extremely friendly, attentive, and high-spirited every time they saw us come in. However, over the past 6 or so months, the employee attitude has become extremely brash. All the bartenders that we used to love, specifically Lauren, Lauren and Keri, the usual bartenders, have devolved a less-than-friendly personality. Over time, we slowly have been treated worse and worse , they have been harsh and stand off-ish for no apparent reason. They have become rude to us and we no longer enjoy visiting this bar due to the service we are provided. We feel more of a burden rather than a prospect for a good tip. Tonight was probably the worst, for multiple reasons including long waits on drink refills, even though the venue appeared not to be busy. This will probably be our last night here. However, we will definitely be visiting every Sunday to see our favorite, Kay and her sister, who have the most amazing personality and is always interested in our well being. We recommend only coming to see their dazzling personalities!!! read more

As a trained and certified chef I will be the first to say that good food requires extra work. The staff at Cue's does that extra work! Real fresh brewed tea! (where's the last time you had properly made southern iced tea?) Real meats.. fresh made salads and dressings. (yes they make their dressings, imagine that) No cut corners. Actual real food at Cue's and I certainly appreciated that fact alone. I doubt there is better food to be found at a pool room in GA! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff and owner are nice people who are putting in that extra effort and it shows. (Five star for the food the bar and staff!) My one single negative is the smoke and dirty ashtrays....a bit of buckling in the carpeting... if that were omitted I would easily offer a perfect review. But lets be honest, it is a pool room and I've been to very few 'perfect billiard rooms'. All things considered Cue's is the best place to play pool I've been to in GA.
