    Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain

    Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain

    (8 reviews)

Tyler of Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain is *fantastic*. I've lived in my townhouse condo for nearly 12…read moreyears, and the kitchen sink has never drained marvelously well. I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! You will be glad you did.

We feel very fortunate to have found Tyler and Elizabeth Scott, of Pipe Dreams, for our septic pump…read morereplacement. They were reliable, open and honest about the entire process even when the items on the blueprint didn't match the actual equipment that had been installed 20 years prior, along with outdated instalment features. They had to find a different pump, and electrical replacement solutions. They were great and did it with positive attitudes and friendly hardworking ethics. We enjoyed getting to know them and were very impressed with how much they care. They made the job change work with the price they had quoted us as well, which was very reasonable. Thank you both for being a great team. Louisa and Dean

You know when you think you've got everything figured out and the Universe sends you a curveball?…read moreThank goodness for companies like BPW when that happens. I had just done the etching and then a beautiful epoxy of my garage floor when the surprise torrential rain storm earlier this week decided to run into my garage and pool. It appears my garage storm drain was plugged. It had been draining slowly, but now it was saturated with water and no water was draining at all. I called around and all the local plumbers are super busy, which us great for them, terrible for me. A contractor friend suggested two companies, one of them being BP Wastewater and I called them late Wed night to explain my situation. The gentleman I spoke to was very kind and listened well to better understand my predicament (which I explained was not necessary to be treated like an emergency). He explained that they'd try to get someone over here the next day, so he'd take my information and have the front office call me in the morning (they open at 6am) I spoke to Maria and later Amanda. Both were very kind. John came over around 2:30pm. He could not get the grate off the drain; prior owners had put a cast iron one on and it was now sealed tight to the drain. As I'd had to leave for an appointment, he did not want to break the grate without my permission. He explained the scenario in detail to me later that night. Collin came Friday around 1pm and I had him break the grate. there was so much rust and metal sediment around the rim that it was blocking the actual drain pipe. He helped me clean it out and showed me with a flashlight that the pipe itself was very clean and no blockages, which was a very good thing. He suggested where to find a new grate and we put the old piece in for now. I am thrilled. The entire job cost $350, which was extremely reasonable, considering they had to come twice and poor John had tried for an hour to not break the grate in order to get it off (he said in his 20+ years, he'd never dealt with a grate that rusted and cemented before). I'm not going to re-epoxy the floor. It looks pretty great minus right around the drain and my car will be over that anyway. I HIGHLY recommend BP Wastewater for your emergency and mundane sewer and drain needs.

Have a pluming problem? This is the man to call!…read more For a week we called plumbers in the St Albans area, only to receive no response. Finally I started looking further and further out and found Bo's in Georgia, Vermont. When I called, someone immediately picked up the phone and told me the pricing to auger my sewer line and an idea of when Bo could come out to my house to do the work. (Which was that afternoon!) When I told her yes, I wanted to hire Bo she told me she would call his cell and have him call me to set a time up. Within 5 minutes Bo called me back and told me he could be on his way immediately! When Bo got there, I showed him to my 4 foot crawlspace basement, although he was working in a cramped environment, he didn't seem to mind! It took Bo about 2 hours total at my house to clear my lines as I had roots in there. Unfortunately I will have to replace my sewer line, however Bo left me in good working order and thinks I can wait a little bit on replacement so I can save up to have the work done! After Bo left, I got a couple return phone calls from other plumbers and even though I already had my problem fixed, I still asked what their going rates were. And Bo's price was about 50-60 dollars less than others in the area! I highly recommend Bo's Sewer & Drain to everyone out there, and if I'm ever in need of a plumber again, he's the man I'm going to call!

Bo was able to respond within a day of calling and was in for the challenge which was the result of years and years of gradual drain build-up (no longer being able to run the washing machine or sink drains). The reviews were our guide in looking for a trusted and reliable person to help and we can say that Bo did not disappoint. Thank you Bo!!!

I called them around 10pm and they said the night crew would call me back. They did very quickly. They asked questions and gave instructions to not run water if at all possible. They did take two hours to get to my house. But, they were up front with me on how long it would take and called during the two hours to give me status updates on there status. When they came in, they were professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem. The described the problem and told me how to prevent it so I'd never have to call them. They also gave me tips on how to maintain my plumbing issues elsewhere in the old house. They were nice people. It was a team of two. And, to top it off, Roto-Rooter does not charge extra for night / emergency service. Thank you Roto-Rooter!
