Been ordering from here for a few years now, but never left a review. It's honestly quite solid, but the menu is hit or miss. Some things are amazing, like their wings; best in town. Gyros are pretty good and so is the pizza, but I've always been disappointed when I order a sub. 90% of the time we got wings, and they really are that good. Jumbo wings and plenty of flavors to choose from for sauces. The boneless wings are pretty good as well. My only complaint about the wings is that the prices have gone up so much that we don't order as much, but definitely worth a try. read more

Ordered the large fried chicken parm sub with just provolone and no peppers (have never had a chicken parm with peppers) and it was really good. The chicken tasted great and was slightly crispy, however it was cut up into cubes which would cause it to fall out, so it was a little messy. There was a good portion if marinara so the chicken not the sandwich was soggy. I thought the bread of the sub was fine, I ordered it toasted, however it was only slightly crispy. I would get it again, especially for the great price of $9.40. I also ordered a slice of cheese pizza, which was pretty good and was a decent size. I was skeptical about ordering from a pizza restaurant with a menu that offers a wide selection of food options. But I'm glad I did. I ordered a salad, Buffalo wings, broccoli-cheese poppers and two pizzas to be picked up. I was given a number and told 20 minutes which seemed to be a bit aggressive for a Friday night. When I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes later, my order was ready. The salad was enough for 3 people, poppers were tasty, Buffalo wings were delicious. I ordered a sausage, garlic and ricotta pizza, and a Tuscan pizza. Both were hot and delicious. I placed the same order on a Sunday, but asked for delivery. 25 minutes later, my meal was delivered. I've been going to P & S for years but not anymore. I watched recently as the guy who is usually the cashier, he doesn't look very hygenic, put his ungloved hand into a bin, grabbed the meat for my sub and proceeded to cut my meat with no gloves. No gloves, no hairnet. I don't know how many times I've seen this guy brush back his hair with his hands and wipe the sweat (he sweats a lot probably due to his size) off his brow with his hand. I couldn't eat the sub and went to Landos and bought another one. Keep this guy on the register or put gloves and a hairnet on him and I might be back. read more

My fiance and I love to try out restaurants we have never been to before or if one of us has a restuarant we love we take each other to these places to so the other one can try the food. In this case, my fiance took me to P & S Pizza in Clinton, MA. I've been through Clinton and been in downtown, but i never been to this pizza place before. Mind you also it was in October during the oddball snowstorm as well. It was a cozy, intimate place, unlike most pizza places I have been into, it has that restaurant feel in the atmosphere and its overall presence as well. The booths were leather, they had "waiters", and the lighting was very romantic, and with the snow blowing around outside it made for a cozy Saturday afternoon. We decided to get the cheese fries as an appitizer and there were delicious with different kinds of cheese on them american and cheddar and the fries were soft with a little crunch to them. Then we decided to split a calzone together I was going to get my own, but I'm glad that I didn't. One calzone feed the both of us and it was sooo good! We got a mixed calzone of cheese, pepperoni, green pepper, and mushrooms and it was just perfect, the cheese melted in your mouth and the crust was cooked to a golden brown as well. And the prices were pretty impressive as well dinner for the two of us cost a little over $20 and for the food we got it was well worth the price. I would definitely recommended P & S Pizza the next time you are in Clinton, its definitely a can't miss place to eat and I am officially a fan of P & S Pizza! Happy Eating! read more

I've been ordering from P&S for a month since I moved to Clinton 8/1. It's been hit and miss. When its a hit, the pizza is hot, tasty and well worth the money. Today was another miss, and frankly the last one for me. I ordered three pizza's before 6 PM, and the when the food had not arrived by 6:45 I called to check on the order. I was told the driver left 10 minutes ago and had my delivery en route. It takes me 4 minutes to get from my house to P&S without speeding or running any lights. So I wait, and the driver shows up at 7:10 PM with his front seat stacked with pizza boxes, mine and other peoples. I ask him if my pizza is going to be hot, and he replies yes, its been on top of the oven since it came out, keeping it warm. So I pay, and take the warm pizza boxes inside, and therein lies the problem. The pizza inside the box is cold, but the outside of the box is warm, not quite hot. So I paid $64 with tip for three cold pizzas and two orders of luke-warm chicken wings. Everything tastes good, but cold, like I'm eating last night's leftovers, and I don't like my food cold. I call to let them know, and the response is less than genuine, and mostly disinterested. To the owner/manager: there are several other pizza places on the same street not 200 yards from yours. This is not how you keep customers. If you have a lot of deliveries at dinner time, why don't you hire another driver and keep your quality up, instead of getting all these mediocre reviews when you fundamentally have a high quality product to sell. Better yet, if you know that delivery is backed up, why not suggest to customers to come pick up when your stretched. Being honest and managing customer expectations is far better than making me wait 75 minutes for $60 dollars worth of cold food. If you want to earn back my business, post a reply here with something meaningful, and I'll try it again. read more

if a small town sub shop is what you need, this is where you must go. granted, clinton *is* out in the middle of nowhere, more or less, but goddamn do they make a good sandwich. i found out about this place when i was dating a guy who lived all of two minutes away from it. once though i actually did drive all the way from my parents' place in rhode island by myself just to get one of their subs, that's how obsessed i got. everything is super fresh. one of less than a handful of places i'll order tomatoes on my food, because they always taste good, which is beyond rare in new england year round. the deli meat is sliced just for your sandwich, so it's not some slimy pre-cut stuff sitting around all day. the lettuce is shredded and they don't skimp on the mayo. the default cheese at real sub shops is provolone, not american! every sub comes with a bag of locally made potato chips and a pickle. the chips are awesome and crunchy, and i am not a potato chip person. they also sell all kinds of flavors in the shop like ketchup! the pickle is my favorite part because it is a "barely pickled" pickle. not one of those warm ones that's practically yellow and disintegrating from sitting in vinegar for twelve years. it's still green and fresh and crunchy. i order them on my sandwich too because i can't get enough. you can totally get any kind of soda here you can think of too. GRAPE! YES! i feel like i'm 12 again. the guys that work here are totally blue collar and awesome, always willing to chat you up even though your food never takes long. the portions are huge and the prices are cheap. i never stray from the turkey, but my ex is vegetarian so i would sometimes steal bits of the eggplant parmesean or the hot veggie with lots of melted cheese, yum. once we had the beer fries and i almost died, but i would have been okay with it if i did. i haven't been out here in awhile, but i believe they are cash only, so be prepared :) if you find yourself hungry out in western mass, stop in here! read more

My boyfriend and I used to love P&S pizza - even though there are plenty of good pizza places in town, we would go there frequently and really enjoyed their specialty pizzas. The last few times, though, the place has been disorganized and difficult to deal with. We ordered from there the other night, and the person we talked to on the phone couldn't understand a simple order and needed us to repeat the order several times.....then when the food arrived, the order was missing the meat for our salads. When we called, they told us that they had to charge us again for the meat since they hadn't gotten it on the order the first time - after repeated attempts to get the order right and a few more calls from them asking for our payment info (again), I would have expected somewhere who valued their customers to make the order right without adding an extra charge. Granted, they redid the salads instead of just giving us the meat - this would have been appreciated, except the man answering the phone got into a screaming fight with my boyfriend, which was certainly not professional. This isn't the only time we've had trouble with them - having to wait for orders well after they said they'd be ready is commonplace here. We had put up with it because we liked their food - but after this last time, we are done. It's too bad - if only the place was better run (and more respectful to its customers), we'd be happy to eat here often. read more

It's been around since as long as I can remember, and has always been excellent. Their homemade dough, perfect sauce, and cheese blend make a perfect pizza that can go head to head with the North End. The grinders (subs for those out of the area) are fresh, filled to overflowing and perfectly tasty. Took my family of 4 there before a night out at the Strand Theater, and we'll be going back again! Don't waste your time with this place. Gave them several chances after moving to Clinton and it slowly got worse everytime. After three or four times, enough was enough. The boneless wings were always hard and old, reheated to order. The pizza had long black hairs in them twice and they made the wrong pizza for us once. The last straw was when I went to pick up the pizza and saw the guy cutting the pizza was dripping sweat into my pizza and wiping his uncovered hands on his brow without gloves and handling all the food. He also had long black hair without a hairnet and I quickly found where the hair in my pizza was coming from. Do yourself a favor and try Mr. Z's a block away or Landos the other direction. Both are much cleaner and better food. read more
