I've purchased several appliances from this store and this experience has been by far the worst. I purchased a range with a delivery date of Fri between the hours of 2:15-6:15pm. Your delivery team showed up 1.5hrs after the scheduled time, so now they were in a rush to get the job done and go. The range cane damaged in the back and they told me the store would refund me some money and on top of that they didn't install the range level. It slants to the back. Now I have to take it out and make it level. When I paid the $209 delivery and intslallation charge, I expected on time delivery and proper installation, not this unpleasant experience. read more

While my salesman, Mitch, was incredibly helpful in store and remains helpful now that there is a problem, that's more than I can say for the store manager. To be clear, I've been a loyal customer since the 70s. For many years I went to the Levittown store until the managers treated me like crap over a issue with a dishwasher that was installed improperly. They were clear that once they have your money, they don't give a damn. We went to Carle Place for a refrigerator. Again, an installation program. The manager I spoke to was rude, unprofessional, gave me a ridiculous line of BS and even had the nerve to throw Mitch under the bus instead of taking care of the problem. Salesmen at PC Richards are excellent. Managers are either arrogant or idiots. I am DONE. Losing one customer is meaningless to them....When I think about the amount of money I've spent as a loyal customer for DECADES, I wish I never walked into a PC Richards. My advice to the reader....hope you don't have any issues with any products because the managers won't give a damn. read more

I always love going to PC Richard and son to test out their vacuums and test there mattresses and today was not the best day because I was trying to test something in there vacuum department and one of their employees was very rude tome and proceeds to take the vacuum out of my hand, meanwhile I asked him if I could use it to see how preforms he said to ask someone else in a very un-professional way. Then I went to their mattress department because I am in need of a new mattress and the same guy came down and sent one of their extremely rude employees came to us and we were asking what the best mattress is to get because I outgrew mine and the said to me that they don't do those mattresses here and said that I should go somewhere else to see that mattress and I said thanks for the assistance and he proceeds to walk away from me. Service, when I bought a Range and microwave they took my $$$ gladly and sold me a service contract. Now that I need repairs I cant get a service appointment t that fits my schedule. I have to work around them and they can't work around my schedule. I now have to make an appointment t weeks.in advance. They gave me an appointment with a 12hrs window. 12 hts!!! Wt Heck!! Im suppose to sit at home and wait all day until they show up.?? Rediculous!! When I tried to get them to give me a more accurate time. They said they couldn't get intouch with the technician.really!! Dosent answer his/her cell phone. Are we not in the 21st. Century?? I was told I was #11 and last on their route. It was 4pm. Stove not working they have the parts to replace and can't give me a 4 hr window to work with. Now I cant.make an appointment because of my schedule even though I gave them 4 diffrent days I had available. But they dont have a technicianavailable.on those days. How convenient.. No available repair person ???. She told me to call on Thursdays because they have "Volunteers" what does that mean?? Some random person who will.volenteer to work on my range and replace the parts they now have but can't compromise with 4 diffrent days I gave them to come and do the repair. My fiance and I purchased a TV from him 2 years ago for my fiance's father and just 2 weeks ago, we purchased a washer and dryer set all at amazing prices. I also purchased some Tempur-pedic pillows and one of them had a ripped packaging (we didn't mind since we were going to use it right away once we got home) but Anthony tried to find another one for us that had packaging that was intact. The washer and dryer was delivered within the time parameters we were given with no issues (call the number on your receipt the morning of - we were told estimated delivery would be between 12pm-3pm) and the delivery staff were very professional and took care to protect the appliances while moving them inside the house. They took our old washer and dryer and installed the new ones. Everything took about 30 minutes. If we're ever looking for any electronics and/or appliances in the future, Anthony will be the first person we go to. read more

I have always favored PC Richards as my choice for appliance purchases. They have a knowledgeable staff and I prefer the old team members as they seem to relate better and show a little more patience to my barrage of questions. They have a HUGE variety of product and I have always been able to find the ideal item in this vast variety of stock. There delivery was prompt with extremely courteous installers. I purchased a fridgaire refrigerator in February 2021. For the past 3 weeks I've been trying to get in contact with someone to replace my fridge. The earliest technician was able to come in 2 weeks which was last Friday 9/17/2021. The technician said the relay needed to be replaced and would order me the spare part. He then mentioned he would be able to come back Tuesday tomorrow 9/21. I haven't heard from anyone all day. I called the service department and they told me the earliest time a technician would come out is 10/5 which is completely unacceptable. There is a global pandemic where is it unsafe to eat outside yet I have been eating 3 meals out for the past 3 weeks because the brand new fridge I purchased 7 months ago doesn't work. I then call the manager Dan at the Carlyle place. I explained to him ny situation and his response is "it is what it is. Nothing can be done". Wow! This is the first time I've ever heard a manager completely dismiss a customer and tell them nothing can be done. Save your money. Do not buy from this location. They will trick you into paying for warranty and will tell you "it is what it is. Nothing can be done" when you have an issue read more

Most unprofessional, uncoordinated company I've dealt with for appliances. Just go to Home Depot instead. This company doesn't tell you an item is out of stock until AFTER you paid for it. The communication is borderline nonexistent so you're in the dark the whole time & when their delivery drivers are 2+ hrs late, they have NO idea what to tell you or how to fix it. Looking to update our kitchen appliances. Did some online research, but wanted to see the appliances in person. We planned ahead and set an appointment. Our sales person was with someone when we arrived, so waited outside. Unfortunately the appliances we were interested in were not on the floor currently. That didn't stop Mario, he got out some catalogs from GE and walked her through the features and benefits using the catalog, your website, and some external sites to get as many pictures of the appliances as she needed to feel comfortable about the purchase. All in we probably spent over 2 hours at the store. Longer than planned, but not rushed. So even given the current situations your salespeople are still delivering. Store was clean, and they took plenty of precautions allowing for a smooth process. Can't wait for delivery :) read more

Ordered a microwave to the store from Terrence on 8/25/22. Apparently it was back ordered which I was never informed. Right there I would have never proceeded with the transaction. Fast forward several weeks later still no call. I decide to call myself and check that status. I was transferred over to Terrence. He put me on hold to find out for me. He then proceeds to tell me that "the store doesn't have it." He stated the shipment should have came and that "they may have sold it to someone else" and that "he forgot". Zero apology. He provided me with other inferior options as well as a microwave out of our price range. I just wanted a refund as this microwave should have already been installed. After I request this, he then hangs up on me mid sentence. My family has purchased many appliances from here over the years, this will be the end. this place has gone down hill. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was given a car stereo and speaker as a gift and called to set up an installation appointment. I was then insulted by the installation department because I did not know the correct term for the "face plate" needed to complete the installation. I was told I would need a "cover" (by the person who gave me the gift) and to make sure it was in stock at the time of installation. When I said this, the employee turned to a co-worker to laugh at my terms and when he came back to the phone continue to pretend to not know what I was referring to. I work in customer service and as an employee you become familiar with customer lingo. ESPECIALLY when it comes to car service. The employee proceeded to mock me during our conversation and gave me an appointment but then said that he "can't promise anything" because he has other cars to do that day. Poor service. I bought a front load washer didn't work right from day one. Took 2 weeks for them to send out a service tech who looked at it took a few pictures said he would talk to the manufacture Samsung and get back to me with a solution. Never heard back. Was told to call the salesmen he said he would take care of it. Two days later I had an appointment for a week later. Received two alerts that they were coming but they never did I had to call them only to find out the serviceman called Samsung who said it was normal. Water in the detergent dispenser wasn't going down so he wasn't coming I called Samsung myself who said there was a problem. Called the salesman back who said again he was going to take care of it. Dealing with PC Richard is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. will NEVER purchase anything from them again. I bought over $10k worth of appliances for my home and a rental property and they didn't honor the warranty for the faulty refrigerator door. Then my 3 -year-old, $4k, KitchenAid refrigerator completely stopped working and I had to wait 2 weeks for service. When the repair guy showed up he didn't have the parts and had to order them. 6 weeks later they allegedly have the parts but the repair guy isn't showing up for the already FIVE HOUR window they give you. The window closed at 12:00 and it's now 1:30 and their customer service and dispatch have no clue where the guy is. They offered a new time/day for TWO WEEKS from now - but this time gave a NINE HOUR WINDOW. So unacceptable and truly unbelievable. What a poor excuse for a company. Stay away from PC Richard and KitchenAid. read more

I pass several other appliance stores on the way to this specific Pc Richards location. 30 minutes ride door to door . But it is worth it . The staff is great and knowledgeable.
