Ordered two fish entrees with soup on Wed.around 6pm.I woke up nauseated at 2:30 am and was up til 5;30am. My friend who also had the fish entree with soup became ill that night stayed ill until the next day.Thursday I called and complained to P-Dubs manager who said she would look into the matter.Just FYI.The service was great in a totally friendly atmosphere. Service was good, we ordered their garlic cheese fries, cajun wings, and western burger. The garlic fries were good, the cajun wings were decent, I was really disappointed with the burger though. I am willing to try this place again because it looks like it gets pretty lively at night. Went here on a whim while we were up in the area. I had the tri tip sandwich and my lovely wife had the stinking hamburger. Both were amazing. The tri tip was tender and the hamburger was cooked to protection. The atmosphere was family orientated and you can sit in the lounge/bar or a little quieter in the restaurant! This Pub was amazing!!! The prices were cheap and the food was excellent! My family is going on a trip to Arizona and we decided to stop at Tehachapi for lunch, we came across this pub to eat at. The parking we had trouble finding a parking spot but we eventually found one, it was worth it though. My brother and I ordered our food and then went to play some shuffleboard. The shuffleboard was in good condition there was also a pool table that was in good condition also. There was 2 restrooms which was the only problem with the pub. When the food arrived I order a kids meal of chicken tenders which was a good proportion for a kids meal, the chicken tenders were perfect! The fries were excellent! The drink selection was great and the prices for the beer during the happy hour outstanding. I definitely will come again if I stop in Tehachapi again. Was seated quickly and the waitress said she was new so I understood her being a little slow to take our order. The food came out late and I saw two tables that were seated after us get their food served to them before we got ours. I ordered the salmon and it was over cooked and dry. I ordered wings that came out with my meal and not earlier as a appetizer is supposed to. The wings seemed to be seasoned properly, however they were ALL cold as if they had been sitting for awhile. The decor seemed to have a sports motif however the lighting was so bright that I felt like I was in a hospital. Please get it together. read more

We ate the first time in Stallion Springs & the food was just ok but we heard that they opened up a new one on South Street so we thought we would give it another try, big mistake !!! First, we were seated right away & they brought us our water. Then we waited & waited as the servers walked by us several times & not once did anyone come to take our order, so after being ignored for 20+ minutes we got up & left. We LOVE P-Dubs out in Stallion so we were super excited to have one close to us. Almost exact menus/drinks. The only downside I've noticed is when I order Stinky Mac ( my favorite ) they never sprinkle gorgonzola cheese on top, so it's not really " stinky ". I always have to ask for a side of Gorgonzola after it's brought to the table. read more

This is an all-american pub. They serve burgers, sandwiches, pasta, steak, beers, etc. Come here to play pool and hang out. They have a good selection on the menu. The food is mediocre on some days. Sometimes we get the clubhouse and it"s like done in a rush, nothing special. I like the salad with salmon. It comes with homemade croutons but sometimes the server forgets to add them so you have to request it. The servers are nice and greets you with a smile. The premises and tables are always kept cleaned. There's a long wait getting served if you come on busy hours usually Fridays. read more

Absolutely mortified! Come to this place quite a bit but today I was so disappointed! All 3 kids meals and my meal was burnt! So they remade it, fine.. but then I find a hair in my fish taco! The manager didnt lbother to talk to our table or apologize! Then discounts 10%? Seriously! A freaking hair in my food and a 10% discount? So damn annoyed! This is by far my favorite restaurant in Tehachapi. They have the biggest variety of food, which is hard to find in this city. On top of that, the food is fresh and delicious. I also was lucky enough to stumble in for a Taco Tuesday. The drink and food specials were almost too good to be true. Tacos were incredible for a dollar and the margaritas were strong and cheap! Had the ribeye today. It was cooked perfect and tasted great. They put what they call zest butter on top and it was delicious! Very friendly and respectful staff. I don't believe they import kobi beef from Japan but I could be wrong however the ribeye was very tender and juicy. I will be going back to try the porterhouse. read more

This was my second visit here. The place was somewhat full. Our waitress seemed to be in a grumpy mood. While waiting for our food (took 45 minutes), another waitress, sat down with some customers at their table. The food we ordered, finally came. The food was delicious. I had the stinky onion burger, and my wife had the blackened salmon. Our waitress Banana,(that's what was on the check) had no idea what seasonings were used on the salmon. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there. I saw another waitress, that would only carry one item at a time. Not sure if I would go back there again. Just passing through! We had the fried wontons with spinach artichoke dip inside as an appetizer. Wow! So good! My husband had the Turkey sandwich with the cranberry chutney. Food is fantastic however their customer service is less than desirable. I would normally not write a negative review but this is the second time we have had the same issue.The young lady that sat us this weekend had a complete attitude. I am not sure if she was a hostess or waitress. She looked to be in her teens by the braces and the attitude that she was doing us a favor by sitting us. We have eaten here two times on the weekend and had the same girl with the same attitude. We love the food so we will try once more maybe during the week. read more

I really like everything that I have tried at P-Dubs. The tri tip sandwich is excellent. The wait staff has always been friendly and attentive. I sat upstairs for the first time last week and will not sit up there again. There is a pool table and some sort of shuffle board game which was cool, but the kids running all over the place was a bit much. I felt like I was in Chuck E Cheese. I am not anti-kid or games but it was hard to have a conversation. A suggestion to the owner/managers Maybe give a little bit of slack when customers have special requests that can be accommodated. I'm not saying give the customers whatever they ask for but bend just a little. Example, I love the tri tip sandwich but I'm not one who likes a ton of meat on my sandwich. I asked the waitress if the cook could only put a few slices of tri tip on it and she went to check. She said that it was portioned out by a specific weight and that all the meat had to be put on the sandwich. I told her I really didn't want to waste the meat because I would just end up taking it off anyway. She was apologetic but felt like her hands were tied on the subject. Another time I ordered the tri tip sliders which are technically an appetizer. I asked if I could purchase a side of fries to go with it. She pointed to a "bucket of fries" for close to 5 bucks. All I wanted was a small handful that I would have gladly paid a couple of dollars for. Just small things like that go a long way in bending the menu rules a bit. Overall I do like the place and would have given it a 5 if there was a little bit of give on the menu. read more
