As a server, I absolutely love the people I work with, the head cooks Jackie and Olivia are a step above the rest! Management cares for the experience each person as well as all who work here. Had to give a one star because there is no zeros. I ordered the roasted tomatoe and red pepper linguini with chicken. I was served a dish where nothing was roasted, no red pepper of any sort, over cooked little piece of chicken. Absolutely zero flavor, just noodles small blanched tomatoes and about a pound of melted butter. This was by far the most bland and tasteless dinner I have ever had. I would not recommend nor will I order it EVER again. Went to have a nice anniversary dinner and left hungry and so dissapointed in dinner. After a long week of work and not wanting to cook dinner, Oak Tree diner sounded good for dinner. Great service as usual with top quality food. We ordered our dinner to go because the restaurant was very busy. Burgers, wedge salad, buffalo wings, and a six layered chocolate cake. I love this restaurant. We always have such a lovely dining experience. My parents are members of the oak tree country club . We love eating here when we visit them . The atmosphere is very peaceful and comfortable. The service is very friendly and attentive. Everything we have tried is delicious. I really love their coconut shrimp appetizer to begin the meal and then go for filet mignon for main course with creamed spinach and twice baked potato . It's delicious!! Don't forget to order some fresh bread . It is amazing bread ! They serve it with whipped butter and a balsamic vinegar and olive oil that is so good ! Oh man, I don't even know where to start with just how terrific Josh and his Country Club serving team were!! They had everything set up exactly to specifications, in a timely manner, with not a wrinkle in sight and not a spoon out of place. They were so attentive to all the bridal party, and vendors, and guests' needs. They were removing dirty plates and forks just after they were even set down. They filled drinks quickly and cut and served the cake beautifully. The food, including our vendor meals, were so good! The Burratta cheese and roasted veggies were spot on! And I heard the salmon was exceptional. They literally made every one of the 50+ people in that room feel like they were there for just them. They were also sooo patient with my annoying and never - ceasing requests. They were so top-notch and Josh was very helpful the past several months, too. So... After digging the car out of the icy snow, yesterday, we were free to enjoy a great evening at the local country club, to celebrate our anniversary. The place was busy with a festive atmosphere. The service is always welcoming and very friendly. Our waitress, Wendy, is very sweet, professional, and makes sure everything is as we wish. And the meal...My Rib-Eye and Sandi's Filet Mignon were both cooked perfectly just like the baked potatoes. The House salad, as always, was delicious and the surprise Hot-Fudge Sundae was a perfect touch. Love this place! read more

Was not expecting this. Service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness - excellent. We never order steaks at restaurants because we make them at home. We are almost always disappointed with restaurant steaks, but the filet was cooked to a perfect medium. Peppercorn sauce was the perfect touch. Lamb lolli pops, we're great. The chimmichuri sauce was a unique take on the sauces I've had previously. Waitress was great. She recommended a desert (Ice cream Mud Pie), that has to be the best desert I've EVER had. My husband and I used to come here weekly pre-Covid and pre-kids. Since 2020, the food quality has significantly declined while the prices have somewhat increased (what I'd expect due to current inflation rates). Most recently, I got the fish and it just smelled off. Once taste and, yep, taste buds confirmed the oil was probably rancid. But not wanting to cause a scene or wait for another plate to be made, I ate most of it. Had a stomach ache and some SERIOUS bloating the rest of the evening. The ambiance is the same, and service is the same. But overall, the food quality has gone from a 4-star dining to maybe half that. It tastes to me like they're using cheaper ingredients to cook everything. The flavors just aren't there like they used to be. It's sad, because this is the only restaurant within several miles drive that Hubby and I could date-night at. I'd be extremely happy if they improved their food quality and cooking abilities again like they were in 2016-2017 and earlier. Until then, we don't plan on coming back here for a nice dinner out. Also, bring back the monthly brunch!!! Those used to be so good!!! Another pre-Covid tradition I still mourn. read more

All I ordered was a Ceasars salad with grilled chicken. But everyone else's food smelled good. My chicken was grilled perfectly and was not dry. The Ceasar dressing had the right amount of anchovies...not overwhelming but not lackluster either...perfect balance. If you're lucky enough to eat here it won't disappoint. Now considering it just maybe the best restaurant in the area for an upscale meal. In Bear Valley Springs, our only gated community. The manager should be fired and replaced. I have seen her talk to and treat members rudely and poorly to their faces in front of others. I don't normally like to make anything personal in business, but she walks around with a giant attitude and apparent disdain for the guests and community that she is working for. I have literally heard her say that it is HER restaurant and she's changing the rules. Excuse me, maam, but this is not your restaurant, it is the members restaurant if anything. All are welcome, but she makes it seem like it's her club that we're lucky enough to be invited to. She needs a serious attitude check. And I hope upper management notices. 1st time here this past Sunday night. Restaurant is at the Country Club at the Golf Course. Noticed many folks getting take out Pizza. We've heard from friends that they make some killer Pizza so next time we'll give it a try. On this visit we dined in. Lil Colonel had Pasta Primavera and I had the Rigatoni, which was probably the best I've had in quite a spell (plenty of tasty meat sauce) and the Lil Colonel said hers was excellent as well. A like this it is a quiet the music is a bit Lawrence welky or elevator type . The appetizer lobsters ravioli was perfectly cooked 2" ravioli 2- ea . Set in a broth with lemon grass and pinto beans . The soup was a squash vegetable . Perfect taste in a clear broth loaded with finely diced tomatoes - 2 types , zucchini, celery just the garden vegetable soup was hearty well balanced soup that had crisp tomatoes where my spoon needed to be a little bit bigger with every bite . I had the 14 hands blended red and also the house Chardonnay . The red 14- hands was a blended grape wine that was woody nutty and very light on the Tanins . The Chardonnay is very light with a hint on fruit . We ordered the salmon and the large cut a prime rib. The salmon was broiled on and placed on top of a bed of rice pilaf the vegetables were green beans and zucchini. The salmon had a light salt D glaze on it which made the incredibly moist salmon taste very good. The rice pilaf was had a hint of curry. Chili and some other pep Rica and basil. The prime rib was served a little cold to slightly warm. It was very tender the prime rib was probably three quarters of an inch thick. The vegetables that it came withwere green beings and zucchini as well. They were cooked very well when you dip the vegetables in the odd juice they tasted very good. Quinoa was ordered with the prime rib. The sweet and sour flavor of the quinoa since it had Worchester sauce in it do not combine well with the prime rib. I would suggest you to get the rice pilaf. We got the cheesecake which was a marscapone variety. It was very very light and it had a slight lemon mint tea flavor to it. It was delicious I would recommend that the cheesecake was served on top of a strawberry purity which we could've enjoyed by the bucket. The strawberry. He was not too sweet and tasted very fresh. Bravo the service was exceptional tonight the waitress was on hand when needed and not disturb the table.and interrupt discussions while we were talking. The temperature in the restaurant was around 72 to 74° perfect for having a nice relaxing dinner the dinner lasted about 45 minutes. Inconsistency continues to plague the OTCC. With the full understanding that my negative Yelp rating may cause the very sensitive manager to initiate retaliative action against my club privileges, I will be as detailed as possible. In the past, the strongest aspect of the OTCC experience has always been the service. Our last visit was a positive one, but this was not the case last night. Two hours to complete a dinner with no dessert. If there were any specials last night, we weren't told about them. A runner that didn't know how to pour iced tea from a pitcher (my daughter had to do it for him). A server that refilled some teas, but not all. A server that didn't realize they have a mashed (sweet) potato side. Very long periods in between drink time, app order time (which the server attributed to bread not being ready), dinner order time, and service of all of the above. This all might be attributed to an assistant manager that spent fourteen minutes chatting up a two-top and in two hours never spoke to any other guests about their dining experiences. Kind of surprising since he was the best server they had prior to promotion. Inconsistency continued with the food. Salty calamari steak, the worlds smallest baseball cut sirloin steak that was overcooked on one side which dried it out (if you want a good baseball cut sirloin, go to the MR), scallops that some were seared and some had no sear, and brussell sprouts that were shredded to the point of being unrecognizable, looking more like a shredded slaw. We love to come here. The food and portions are satisfying, the prices are quite reasonable, the service is professional and friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and casual. Wednesday thru Sunday, they offer a pizza menu, and the regular menu is fine dining for country folk. We have never had a bad meal here; we always come for family birthdays or other special occasions. The chef here is a pro and his menu proves that. No one really expects dinners at weddings to be anything special, but we had a LARGE NUMBER of wedding guests who commented on how amazing their chicken piccata and steak dinners were. Just did the taste of Italy on Thursday and it was so yummy! I had the kale and sausage soup and he had the salad both were excellent. We shared a bottle of wine, shared the soup and salad with each other and shared the yummy garlic bread.
