We paid 18% tip for curbside pick up and no forks, spoons napkins, sauces, etc. It really is disappointing when I tip in advance and get screwed. Also, our chocolate cake had chili sauce in a cup when it was to be extra chocolate on the side. I don't remember seeing chili sauce as part of the chocolate cake dessert. Always enjoy coming to this location! The employees are friendly and the place is always clean. Went in last for dinner and to my surprise the place wasn't busy at all. (I've always gone on the weekends) our food came out very quick. Spicy chicken noodle soup: BEST SOUP EVER!! (Chicken, mushrooms, noodles, cherry tomatoes) Egg rolls: were a bit on the greasy side, but they are huge Combo lo mein: was okay Asian grilled salmon: full of flavor, super good! Ordered curbside. Got there a few minutes early and waited 5 more minutes to call and let them know I was there. I waited 15 minutes and had to call them again.15 more minutes later she brings out the food. Takes my card and it takes her 4 tries to get it right. By this time my food was barely warm. The service was great, however the food was not. I used to absolutely LOVE this place and the food was wonderful. It is pricey, so you'd expect excellent food. Some things have changed. For one, the prices have increased, as all places have done. My friend and I both had lettuvlce wraps, which were ok. They used to mix the sauce to your liking, but no longer. (probably Covid) The orange chicken recipe has changed drastically. I do not like it. I tried it there, took it home and reheated it the next day. Just threw it away. After going to Pei Wei a week or so ago, I had the worst Mongolian beef I've ever had. (See my earlier review.). So, we decided to go to P F. Chang's tonight to order the Mongolian beef there. I truly enjoy the PF Chang's in Chandler, yes my fault to believe the service would equal at superstition location ...ordered the GF Singapore noodles curry and vegetables with extra chicken...also order the Chang's spicy chicken extra chicken extra Spivey., no rice. The noodles were clumped, absolutely no veggies with the exception of 4 tiny julienne carrots and what appeared to be 2 pieces of green onion...extra chicken missing, literally got 6' tiny pieces of chicken at bottom of bowl...So I crossed my fingers as I went to serve the Chang's spicy chicken...not spicy and no extra chicken....I guess overall I should have been contented with my curbside order...I didn't have to cook it...except the extra was not free and the taste was poor...Sad Thursday for us at the dinner table:( read more

My asian wife and her two sons checked into wait for dinner. We waited for an hour and 1/2 while other groups our same size came in after us and where seated. Being a white male, I've never experienced racism until tonight, but being my first time I was very disturbed by this experience. I gained a better understanding of what it is to be on the receiving end of this kind of treatment and I'm extremely pissed off! The only reason we actually got seated after 1.5 hours is because the group they called in front of us realized the injustice of the situation and insisted that we be seated in front of them. I swear I will NEVER go to P.F. Changs again as long as I live! I've never been so insulted in my life. The young girl in charge of seating clearly choose other patrons in front of us. read more

OK, so the atmosphere is nice and the service is good, but the whole experience is lacking. Chinese food should not be 90% protein. If that's your gig, by all means, hit the Chang's. I, however, love vegetables and expect a goodly amount of them in my Chinese dishes. So, PF Chang's not among my list of acceptable places to spend my money. Unfortunately, my wife likes it. But, I can usually get by with some Lettuce Wraps. This go 'round our server was Dominic. He was pretty damn awesome. My only critique is that he did not offer to tailor the Lettuce Wraps sauce. I have come to expect that and totally forgot to ask when the wraps arrived. Anyway, the wraps were bland as a result. Everything else was bland as well with SPARSE veggies. And believe me I have tried to request add-in veggies in the past. It cost an additional $5.95 for the reinforced disappointment. Even the Hot and Sour soup was iffy. Weak ass Chili oil and chili paste employed to ZERO effect. Lordy! Like I said PF Chang's take on Chinese is not for me... your mileage may vary. Dominic is awesome though. 5 Stars to him and his suave, expert service ... negative 3 Stars for stingy veggie game and lack luster flavor. read more

Service is normally good, quick, and pleasant. Sadly they've changed the menu and recipes for several products, specifically, chili paste and the ma po tofu which my wife will no longer order. Not sure why the change. We did notice far, far fewer diners on this trip. I suspect the menu changes have something to do with it as our server mentioned that many are very disappointed with these changes. We reserved a spot on open table for 5:30pm. When we got there the place was packed!!! We checked in and got seated within 5 minutes. We were approached by our waitperson, Leslie, and ordered drinks while we perused the menu. Leslie came back and told us the drinks were going to be late but took our order. We ordered Chicken lettuce wraps, honey pot chicken, Lobster sauce shrimp and vegetable lo mein. Wraps came within 15 minutes and still no drinks. But we had food and lemon water so it was cool. But since it was taking do's long the restaurant comped our appetizer. Wow! Food came a bit later(we had our yummy drinks!). Wow! Hot and tasty!! Nothing bland spot on everything!! lo mein wasn't oily, honey pot chicken was crispy and hot, lobster sauce shrimp had tasty veggies and tons of shrimp. Leslie is a treasure! She was watching out for us, humorous and reacted immediately to anything that may become a issue. Ordered the bread pudding desert and all I can say is it was outstanding! Came here for New Year's Eve. It's a good thing we made reservations as there were more people waiting than there was seated. The same was true when I left 2 hours later. I only come here when someone else wants to come, and then, only rarely. I've never had any food here that wasn't better somewhere else for a cheaper price. They waite staff we had at our table was absolutely delightful! I didn't get her name and I'm sorry for that. The one thing that drew my attention away from all else was a wait staff who walked by a table, a woman put her hand out and touched his arm to get his attention to ask for more water. He took about five steps and I heard him say oh my Jesus f****** Christ.... Only because a woman had asked for water.. I don't know exactly how much it takes to make young people understand being waite staff in a restaurant with the prices on the menu such as PF Chang is a privilege and they should be grateful to be employed there and should treat their customers like gold because each customer is going to judge them on everything they see and hear about them and show it on their tip.... Working as a privilege and when you're in a service industry you give service! That's what you're hired for!! read more

We got takeout tonight. The food has no or off putting flavour, poor quality and looked very unappealing and cheaply made. Our last visit was about 5 years ago ( we are visiting here). It's definitely gone downhill. Our family of 4 ate only a small amt; the rest went in the garbage and all of us do not feel great. I have eaten at various PF Changs for years...I have eaten twice in Mesa and both times it was awful food and ordinary service. here's the problem with the food. Salt and Pepper Prawns!!!!!!! $22 and both times at this locations served in YUMMY GREASE AT THE BOTTOM...small shrimp.errrrrrrr prawns and not like any other PF Changs same plate anywhere....ever. Just did the free delivery for three meals. I was very impressed the bag was sealed and left right outside. Delivery was right on time and the food was great! Will be using this option in the future. Okay, so let me premise this review by saying I generally enjoy P.F. Chang's but like any chain restaurant it is ALL ABOUT the staff at whatever location you happen to be visiting. I get around ;) lived in 3 states in the last 4 years so have had my share of good and bad Chang experiences. Okay, so now onto the 5 star above! Went out with a girlfriend the other night and didn't have a destination in mind but was borderline hangry ;) so wanted something close by. We actually stopped by On The Border first.. and hungry as we were jointly decided to leave because it was so filthy. Not sure I'll get to that review today.. but OMG! I felt like I needed Lysol, gloves and a cootie check after spending about 5 minutes there. Yuck-o!! Anyway, back to the kick ass Chang's experience. So we sit down, are greeted by our server in 10 seconds flat and go about ordering half the menu - no judging, we were hangry! - and a few cocktails. Our food came out in waves - which was perfect for our grazing mood, and we had no less than 3 people check on us as we tore into dish after dish. It was relatively busy so this rockstar treatment (perhaps they'd heard I knew The Lock Lady - see my review if you want the details on my experience with her Literally rolling my eyes as I type this business name) - was great! Fast forward to the end and we left with full bellies and a mountain of boxes with every morsel we hadn't scarfed down! My husband and I did take out here last night. We were hungry and hadn't eaten here in quite some time. The service was fine, the food was ready on time. However, the food was beyond terrible. I had ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken and my husband ordered the Orange Chicken. I was unable to even eat any of the food because the chicken was soaking wet. It was like eating breaded rubber. It didn't even taste like chicken and was not tender. My husband chicken dish was the same. Very dissatisfied, especially because we spent $50 on the meal.
