Not impressed at all. I don't mind to pay for good food and services but this place is expensive and nothing special at all. Small portions,over cook Mongolian beef (25.00) another 5.00 to upgrade to fried rice. Our server was great but not the host lady who looked like she was mad of be at work. The prices went up significantly, and the serving sizes went down. Most of their entrees come with ZERO sides. So you're paying $22 to $30 for just meat. That is a bizarre food offering. Why don't they offer vegetables with their entrees like a normal restaurant? There were tiny pieces of celery and peanuts with my chicken, but that doesn't really count. 2 spring rolls cost $14.50?! Come on. 6 little fried wontons cost $15?! Which sometimes are burnt to a brown crisp. The food is decently good, but the value isn't there. The amount of meat they serve in each entree is small, probably 6 oz. And remember, no sides. So you may leave hungry if you order a single entree for yourself. Their brown rice is disgustingly undercooked, like hard rocks. And the white rice was partially soft and partially dried and hard. I don't know how they can mess up rice this bad. Definitely a favorite place for excellent fresh gluten free food. I love the GF Pad Thai it's perfectly cooked. There was plenty of chicken and shrimp. The spices are just right. Great kick and seasoning. The wait staff was great today. Greeted and thanked. Ordered on the app Awesome easy and accurate. I highly recommend this location for good food atmospheres and service. Omg someone needs to hire a a manager here because I do not remember the last time I have had such bad service! The food was really good but our waiter consistently had to bring out the wrong thing first or come back and ask us again what we ordered. Never got the fried rice or the egg on the ramen. Easily took at least 30 minutes to get a drink with each one ordered. Our server Kevin was the absolute worst. He had his cool guy waiter vibe going but didn't listen to ANYTHING we said. Luckily there was actually a cool guy waiter named Ryan that was picking up the slack and made our experience tolerable. They always get it right when my mom and I come together. They seat us fast, the service is fast, they always get our order right and everything is always clean. I was surprised and disappointed with the experience on all levels, from the customer service to the food quality and taste. P.F. Chang has always been a sure bet meal, and while on vacation, we decided to order for our family and take out. The staff didn't greet or ask us if we were dining in or taking out, and we had to actively inquire to confirm our order was ready for pick up. On top of that, we ordered three plates, one of which was the Pad Thai "new recipe," as claimed on the site. Don't get me wrong, for amazing pad thai, we have our go-to spots locally and are always blown away, not to mention we've been to Thailand a few times, so we know authentic tastes, but this pad thai was underwhelming on so many levels from lack of flavor, to dried out noodles, to breaded chicken vs. grilled chicken strips, to no sauce, it disappointed! On top of that, the plate was $21.99. I don't think I'll ever go back to P.F. Chang after this experience (certainly not that location). It's incredible how quickly an establishment can lose a customer, bummer! read more

My daughter's treated me for my birthday. I remember when food was good at this location. My samon and honey chicken were substandard, almost bad. No flavor. Ordered crispy, honey chicken, and it was very underwhelming. We had it ordered for delivery and you would think that rice would be in one container and the chicken would be in another. Nope they put it all in one container that was meant to be separated, but it was all on one side of the container, so it did not fill the container up at all. There was rice and about six pieces of chicken on top. Why did I pay almost $25 for this? To be fair I did order from GrubHub. I know they add a fee, but for the amount of food we got I was told it was the dinner plate not the full meal. Again, why did I pay so much money for this? The food did not justify the price. I was told to order directly from P.F. Chang's and the only reason I ordered from GrubHub is because I don't get delivery where I live unless I use GrubHub. I can order way better Chinese food where I live and I will do that next time. I don't even choose to go to P.F. Chang's when I'm in town, so not sure why ordered from there tonight. Bottom line... The Asian Caesar salad is good and healthy for the new year. I especially liked the crunchy won ton. The won ton was crispy and salty. I could almost imagine it was crispy chicken skin. The salt helped offset the salad. The salad consisted of crunchy romaine, parmesan, toasted sesame seeds, and wonton croutons. The flecks of Parmesan was dispersed throughout the salad. I love Parmesan. To make the salad healthier, not including the Parmesan may be an option, I couldn't really taste the Parmesan much in the salad. I also didn't see much of the sesame seeds in the salad either The best part of the salad was the healthiness of it and the won ton. The Caesar dressing was tangy. The service was a bit slow for getting our meals out. I think it could be quicker, but now I know where I can go if I want somewhere to sit for a while to chat with friends while waiting for our meal. Some friends like to eat quickly and leave. My husband and I cane here to enjoy dinner for our anniversary. We both love Chinese food and wanted something a little more upscale then the Chinese buffet. We arrived and were greeted immediately and taken to our table. The dining room was moderately busy. Our waitress was by right away after we were seated to get our drink orders and after delivery of our sodas we were ready to order. I chose the honey shrimp and a side of fried rice. After reading some of the other reviews we were nervous thinking we were going to be there for hours because of the slow service. NOT AT ALL THE CASE, our food was out fast and hot!! We were shocked and actually said something to the waitress to line lines of, wow, we didn't know this was fast food! My honey shrimp was hot, crispy and delicious, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Everything was so good, and can't wait to go back! What a bummer. I used to love PF changs. The food was so good and for the first time in a long time I ordered food today. I ordered pick up chicken lettuce wraps which are my favorite. I make the order, they tell me it will be fast so I am there 10 minutes after. Food was not immediately ready but I didn't wait long at all. I get home, finally start to eat and the chicken mixture is mush. No flavor, no white noodle crisps, and mush. Just tastes and has texture like it's been sitting for days. It's so sad that no matter where you go or what you get it's like nothing is made well any more. I mean, the chicken lettuce wraps should be fresh and light. This tasted soggy and old. Hadn't been in so long because I continue to leave disappointed and yet again, I'm let down. No reason so try again in the future. Oh yeah and I wanted a soda for my to go order and it was $5. Love this place! I know it's a chain but the food is really good and service is always super attentive and friendly. Most recently we went here for my moms bday and the waiter was so kind and gave her free dessert with a fun sparkler! We live in Ahwatukee, but We are trying new areas for good restaurants. This one was great ! We were greeted in a friendly manner and felt welcome right away. Our Server , Josette , was amazing. She helped me decide on the egg rolls appetizer ( excellent! a) and I opted for the fried rice with chicken. My husband had the sweet and sour chicken and really enjoyed his meal. Our food came out quickly and was hot and tasty. When I told her it was his birthday, she said pick a dessert , on us. No more relief! PF Chang's didn't want to build a restaurant at Superstition Springs, but the Mesa city council made them a tax relief offer they just couldn't refuse. Okay I have always been a PF Chang's fan, but I can honestly say that they did something to their menu. It doesn't taste the same. The noodles are dry and flavorless like if they opened a pack of ramen and stirred fried them without flavor and put them in a fancy dish. The Mongolian beef comes in a bowl with rice and a vegetable and they barely put any meat and the dish is over $20.00 the orange chicken was okay and I did order the chicken lettuce wrap and thankfully that appetizer still taste amazing. Everything else was surprisingly disappointing. To spend over $150.00 and eat what we just ate- they have to do better. I used to love PF chang but their food quality has gone down. :( it pains me to write this but I hope they can make changes and bring the food quality and quantity back up. read more

Pretty standard fare, not bad, not super authentic either. Just P.F Chang's. If you've ever been to one you know what to expect food wise. This one has never been on the Dirty Dining report that I have seen, so that's a definite positive. I have had more 'authentic' Chinese food in several other places throughout the valley however, so this is sort of the McDonald's of Chinese cuisine if you know what I mean. It's predictable if not special. The service is frequently hit and miss though. Sometimes it's dead on, sometimes not so much. I have been here multiple times in the past, and will undoubtedly go back many more times in the future, but it's typically because it's somebody else's choice rather than my own. read more

For starters, I had came to this location at 9:15PM on a Friday night. My host and server were very accommodating to our order and overall customer service satisfaction. At first I was worried with my server since my table was most very likely the last table of the night. Trust me, I felt extremely bad coming at 9:15 when they close at 10. My server ended up being very humorous and sweet to us. They made sure to refill on drinks, check in on food and ask permission before taking anything, all with a smile still on. Now the food... We ordered a California roll, shrimp tempura roll, fried rice, and beef lo mein. California roll and shrimp tempura roll were beautifully built and placed, served 8 rolls per order. I appreciate how my shrimp pieces were warm and fresh. My California roll was cold and fresh too. No scraps on those rolls. Fried rice was very delicious and a great amount of portion, whether it's a soy sauce or gyoza, whatever they put in the rice was very delicious too. Not burned at all, nice and fluffy! Lo mein was good too, my only problem is I think the beef... personally I feel like they beef was tough, not enough and wasn't seasoned at all. But after all I did come in at a time where they are probably going to be slowing down the night. Lo mein was also very oily I did not like that. Again my server was sweet and respectful! PF Chang's is always a very nice restaurant to go to especially when it is a special occasion. Always a very clean place to eat. We came here the other day, and the staff was very nice and professional. We ordered a couple of appetizers and then ordered our main courses. I have to say that the food was very good, but I ordered the glazed carrots, and they were cold. Now I know what they would say about that if I said something to them that they would have brought me some hot, but I'm getting tired of sending my food back. This is a problem with most all restaurants today. If hot food is ordered, bring hot food. At the prices being charged today, food should be served as the menu suggests. read more

So , the wife and I went out to Chang's tonight . Wasn't busy at all . The menu has been pared down a lot to just the basic offerings . The food was served quickly and hot and tasted good . But what stood out was the service we got from Kevin . He was outstanding and what a server used to be like . Friendly, attentive , anticipated our next needs . April 3rd I ordered over $100 for take out. Since my family drove from San Diego California to Mesa that day we decided to order take out. The wonton soup quart had 3 1/2 soggy wontons, the mongolian beef was so dry and hard to chew. We ordered extra beef but did not get it--thank goodness. The beef was terrible -- thin sliced, burnt ends it looked like some bodies left overs for days. My family always make at least 1 or two trips to p f chang's in San Diego each month and it is delicious. From now on My money would go to Panda Express. This dinner brought back a lot of Dubai memories. My first experience of P.F. Chang's was actually in Dubai many years ago. When it first opened, the wait for a table could have been anywhere from 1-2 hours, and people waited! That's because the food was always delicious!! This is the first time I tried P.F. Chang's in the valley. I did happen to try their Greenville, SC branch prior to moving to Arizona as well. We called in to reserve a table, they said there were no reservations. What you are doing by "calling ahead" is getting your name on the wait list. The wait was supposed to be 30-35 min when I called. I thought the wait started from the time you called in, kinda like other restaurants but the lady corrected me to say "no, your wait time starts when you check-in". About 10 minutes after the call, we arrived at the restaurant and checked-in. I'm glad that even though we were very hungry, we agreed to the 30-35 min wait because we were seated in about 5-7 min! The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived (we got there at around 8). There are reviews on Yelp previously complaining about how dark the place is and it normally would be (because that's how every P.f. Chang is) but it wasn't. It seems as though the restaurant management took the comments into consideration and the restaurant was well lit up. My husband and I went through the menu and it had most of the dishes I was used to. We ordered the dynamite shrimp, the vegetable Lo Mein, Mongolian beef as well as Kung Pao chicken and brown rice on the side. The server was very helpful. When I first asked how spicy the dynamite shrimp was (because I know it was pretty spicy in Dubai) he let me try the sauce separately before I put the order in. It was pretty good and had the nice kick I was used to but I started coughing (embarrassing!) so he decided to bring us the sauce on the side. The dynamite shrimp came out in record time! It was however served in a regular plate and it felt like it had too much batter, I felt I was eating more batter than the shrimp. I wish they served it the way they did in Dubai, in cocktail glasses! It looked so impressive and it tasted like the bomb!! Every single time I was in he restaurant, every single table would have one of them. We even sometimes ordered one each! The food came out a little later. Everything looked pretty good but the portions seemed smaller than what I was used to. We dug in. Everything tasted good. The heat level was just right for all the dishes and the noodles were very tasty. Overall, our experience was pretty good. The service was excellent and our server was nice and checked in on us. The restaurant is nicer than most restaurants on our side of town which is a good change. 4 stars because although everything was good, in comparison to Dubai, the Dubai branch beats this branch on flavor. read more

This has gone down hill fast! The ambiance isn't what it once was! The light is harsh and blinding. So hard to enjoy a $23 Mongolian beef when you can't even see it because the lights are so bright. Hope you don't want a booth anymore because you'll feel like you're being interrogated by the Gestapo! The entire staff seemed like a nuclear bomb had destroyed their will to live. Great place if you want to lose weight! We had takeout. The $20 piece of salmon to top the salad was the size of a Brillo pad. The $19 chicken portion for the salad was just as small. The Mongolian beef was burnt to a crisp. The kung pow chicken was OK. My first and last experience with P.F. Chang's. It is a beautiful venue and I must admit the service WAS EXCELLENT!! read more
