First went to a PF Chang's in Phoenix, AZ..LOVED IT. I was very excited to hear they were going to build one in Omaha. The staff is always friendly. I prefer to sit at a more private booth, as the tables are placed too close together for any type of private conversation. The hostess that seats us does not cop an attitude if I suggest a booth, rather than a table. (Big Plus). The food has always been excellent here, however you will probably not make your calorie goal for the day as the food is usually pretty high in calories. If you get the lunch portions, you cut the calories by quite a bit. Only drawback is the food is quite pricey. I usually hold off dining here until a special occasion comes up, like birthday or anniversary. That way both my waistline & wallet are happy. The chicken lettuce wraps are excellent! read more

Ok so I try and be extremely fair with my reviews as I work for a company that depends on customer reviews. The service was actually great waiter was on top of things and efficient. The food was awful. There were 5 of us. The kiddo didn't like his sweet and sour chicken. Said it tastes funny. Which it did. Had some spices there weren't correct. Our friends had sub par food. The rice was dry and old. All of our food was practically tasteless and fried chicken pieces were more like hockey pucks they were so over cooked. My salmon was super over cooked the first time it came out. Very dry! Sent it back. Second time it was raw. Sent it back again and decided to no eat as I had lost my appetite at that point. Our appetizers were ok. The fried dumplings were steamed not fried. The wine was good and bathrooms were clean. I would honestly not recommend this restaurant read more

I know that P.F. Changs is not authentic Chinese food. That said, the food is always delicious. I've been here numerous times and have never had a rude or horrible waiter/waitress. If you are dining with a friend or SO -- definitely check out their 2 for $40 deal. If you want a good meal, great service, I'd definitely recommend P.F. Changs! read more

Today was my first experience at this restaurant. I give it four stars because the service was good but the food was so-so. Reading the descriptions in the menu, I would've thought that there would've been more flavor. I ordered the crab fried rice. It was okay. But nothing to write home about. However, my wife did get the Mongolian beef. That was actually pretty good. Overall, not bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

If you want artery clogging deliciousness and aren't afraid of sodium, this is the place for you. Not the healthiest food by a long shot, but they have some great menu items and a good price range. The drinks are always pretty delicious too. Our server has always been attentive every time we've been there. I honestly have no complaints. My son and I visited PF Changs this evening for dinner. It is usually very good for Lunch.The service is usually awesome. the food is usually very tasty. We love the atmosphere as well. It is always clean and the restrooms are always clean and stocked. We never had dinner inside before, we had take out in the evening.This is our first evening dine in visit. The visit was not good. The server, Alveda was so slow, and no personality or customer service skills. She took forever to get to us, sure it was busy, but the servers even the older guy was funnier, faster, and more efficient than our young server. I probably wouldnt have noticed so much but the older guy servant was so good that i was comparing and realizing it wasnt us that was the problem, it was her. I am usually very tolerant of new servers and such.. However, this was was almost not tolerable. She didnt come n ask if we were ok, we had to wait for drink refill and for to go boxes. She barely said thank u when the bill was paid. Then the food was just ok, usually the food is excellent. There was no flavor in my lo mein and it was so full of onions it filled a soup bowl. No kidding, i filled the soup bowl up with onions and she didnt say a word but are u done with this and picked up the bowl. No funny jokes, no questions? I did it on purpose to see if she would say anything. wow. Talk about no personality. The food quality didnt seem like usual either. We were so disappointed. Not sure we will go back. I know other restaurants closer to home with better service and better quality of food. Sad about this.. I know u are busy bit talk to your people let us know whats going on.. My Wife and I had not been in awhile so we decided to stop in last night. Seemed a bit busier than usual because of prom. However, we got a seat at the bar almost right away and don't have a problem eating there either. Bartender got us a menu and drinks in a timely fashion and even wiped off in front of us. This is where the good part of the experience stopped. We waited more than ample time to place a food order even given the fact of how busy the place was. I spoke up to get the order placed and ordered the lettuce wrap app and each of us got a couple entrees. After 25 minutes had passed since ordering it was apparent to one of the bartenders, by them noticing on their own, that we should have gotten our app by then. Our biggest concern was not so much how long we waited but that we did not want to get our meal at the same time as the app. After the bartender came back she said there was some sort if mix up but it was being handled. Over 10 minutes later we were told that the manager was going to bring out our order and talk to us. At that time we requested to cancel our app order due to the fact that the party sitting next to us, who sat down probably 15 minutes after we did, got the app order already. They proceeded to bring it out anyway and offered it for free, we respectfully declined. Shortly thereafter our order came out which had clearly been sitting there for awhile, I am assuming to try to space our orders apart, cause it was not hot, warm at best. The manager did give us $15 gift card for our next visit. However, overall we do not feel that this was a acceptable resolve for the overall experience and absolutely did not feel that there was anything genuine about the apology either. The goal for this review is in hope that these issues are addressed before our next visit or it will def be our last. read more

Wow.....heard people in Lincoln wish they had a P.F. Chang's. Why? It is way over priced. I could of went to my favorite Chinese place in Hastings, and had better food. Hunan's in Hastings is so much better. The bathroom floors were also sticky at P.F. Chang's in Omaha. Infact the bathroom seemed dirty. I went to the casino in council bluff's after chang's. The bathroom's at the casion's were spotless compared to chang's. Never again will I waste my time or money going to P.F. Chang's. read more

The food is so so. It's expensive. Ive been to PJ Changs in other cities and the food was very good. My friend ordered a banana dessert and the ice cream was completely melted all over the plate when we got it. I think they have a quality control issue. We did really like our waiter. read more

The entree Chicken w/ almonds and cashews --- hardly any nuts--- was without any flavor. They brought me hot and sour soup by mistake and it was bad, they then returned with the egg drop, equally as bad. Both were like drinking tasteless thickened cornstarch! Won't go again. read more

As a girl who has lived in Omaha all her life, I have only dined at PF Changs once, and let me tell you that it was a very memorable meal. My friend invited me along with a few of my lady friends, out to have nice meal. Although the food was great, it was not just the meal that had the greatest impact on our night out. Our waiter, TJ Darnell, who works at the PF Changs at the Omaha Westroads, was a fantastic waiter. He always checked in on us to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. TJ was also very friendly and even took a picture with us. You know what they say, a picture is a memory in its best form. This was a great experience for our family! The service was amazing, the pace was perfect for us, and the food came out super quickly despite it being pretty crowded. While the food is a little overpriced, you get some pretty good bang for your buck. Our server was great- we had a coupon and he made using it quick and easy. One of the best Chinese fusion restaurant in town, me and my wife always love to go there. Chicken noodle soup is the signature soup in Omaha we believe and the service is always great, one time we ordered soup without mushroom but they forgot so it came with mushroom. Immediately server apologize to us for the mistake and gave free appetizer card for next visit. Just not end here manager came within short time and waive our soup from the check, we really appreciate their prompt customer service and how nicely they handle the situation. Weekend is really busy but during weekdays dinner time is decent and no need to wait for table. They also have good lunch menu with decent price which is basically smaller portion than regular dinner menu but comes with soup or salad as side. Environment is great might be during weekend little bit loud but not noisy more like energetic and moving vibe to make you feel welcome more to the food and drink world. read more

A group of friends and I are all allergic to gluten. We ordered everything gluten-free, mentioning multiple times that it was GF. The restaurant was pretty empty, so it's not like they were rushing our order. The waiter brought out egg noodles and kept saying they were gluten-free. We asked for rice noodles 3 times before he finally brought out the right noodles, because the first 2 plates weren't GF. My friends took a few bites before we found out because the server assured us they were fine and asked the cook. As we spoke to a manager, he told us that he looked on our receipt and saw that the rice we ordered wasn't GF because the server didn't care to change how he rang it up and it was cooked normally. We all went to the bathroom and threw up, in tears. We're so sick and will be for weeks. They told us they would pay for our medical care but my friend called and they haven't responded. read more

Was not impressed with the way this PF Changs is run. The check-in took our party info and then never came back. We waited ten minutes and then had to ask to be seated again even though the restaurant was over half empty. The server was nice but thought that the portions were small for the money. I can't believe the negative reviews I've read about PF Changs...'it must not be Omaha location they are writing about. The food is FANTASTIC, tasty, plenty of it, and the brown rice is the most amazing I've ever tasted anywhere! I especially love the Kung Pao Shrimp, which comes with at least 30 shrimp, you can add any veggies you like (I always ask for snow peas, mushrooms and water chestnuts!) and their lettuce wraps are the perfect appetizer to share with a few friends or family members while waiting for the food to arrive. I have never had a bad experience there, they are kid-friendly (we always take my twin grandkids who are 2 years old, they love the lomein and shrimp as well!) and most of our family celebrations are there, since my entire family loves PF Changs. So...you haters out there just need to come to Omaha and enjoy the best Chinese food around! read more
