They were VERY nice on the phone, almost thought they were patronizing me at times. That ceased as soon as I called them out on their shoddy work. I was verbally abused and told that I would get nothing from them and they would not be fixing their mistakes. All because I asked them to make good on how they left the job. They said it was my responsibility to repaint my house exterior to fix the sloppy job they did on the window install. Their crew also damaged the brand new shingles on the new roof while installing the windows. (See photos) I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

We had a great experience working with Phil, Fran, Serge and his crew. Serge and crew work incredibly hard and do very clean and thorough work. Ours was a large and somewhat complicated job, which they finished in good time. New shear panel, insulation, and siding, top to bottom on a large house. I'd give them one star, but the actual work they completed was really nice. They seemed super cool when the project started, but now I'm having the HARDEST time getting them to respond. We had the house siding in June of 2018 with windows and French doors installed. The interior of the windows wasn't completed because we "didn't opt in to have them finished in the contract." We thought they closed the permit, but got a call from them A YEAR LATER that the permit was never signed off on. They came back (yay!), but the step off of the French doors wasn't up to code so we couldn't get the permit finished. Phil told me at that visit that they would make a new temporary step at a different job site and drop it off so we can get the permit closed. I've been trying for months now to get them to make good and they're refusing to do it because, again, I didn't "opt in for the work to be finished in the contract." Had I known that it was assumed I didn't want finished work, I never would have gone with them. My permit has since expired and we now have to pay a new fee to re-open it. Again, the siding is great, the workers were great, Phil was great through the project, but now, 1.5 years and an unfinished project later, I'm very frustrated with them. If you go with them, make sure you get it in writing that they will finish the work and not leave you hanging. Super unprofessional and highly annoying. read more

Short rate - FYI - Comcast cable splinters was placed underneath the James Harding Siddings. Now, major problem When it comes to upgrading my cable system to X1 . Make sure they don't Place your cables connections underneath the siddings. Review short comments . Comcast tech will rewire my home again. New fiber optics wiring with splinter cable exposed outside siding. Continue with review after, installed Comcast New cable connections, Make sure your splinter cables are outside your New James Harding siddings. Have the company place them in a covered box.. so, any upgrades are Accessible to the cable people. The cable company made new holes from inferior to the exterior to rewire home again . The new siding has holes and stapled cable on the sidding walls . It would have been beautiful if, the splinters to the cables wouldn't have been buried underneath the siding, Sad!! Love this lil company! Fran and phil are incredible! Super enthusiastic and yes we can people who along with their fabulous crew really deliver!! We had Hardie shakes installed on our home in the mendocino national forest by two of their workers. They are a father and son(s) team that came here from the Ukraine. Hardest working people I have met in these parts and their attention to every detail on our house has made it a work of art!!! We had windows installed last fall. They are replacement windows and they project a good two inches beyond the sides of the house Which looks and is bizarre. I have never seen replacements windows that do that! The boards (cause they certainly aren't trim quality) were just glued and screwed into the stucco. We did the front of our house, We are now remodeling the balance of the house and the exterior of the new windows are having to be redone with the "trim" replaced. Inside trim is having to be painted because some of the wood used was trim and some were not. I would go elsewhere for windows. Also many of the windows arrived cracked and we had to wait for them to be replaced after installation. read more
