I've gone here for years on and off and recently the owner has been acting a bit rude to customers. I went in to try on and buy a lot of new outfits to revamp my closet again, and the owner informed me that I could only try on 5 items at a time, which I had no problem with. But then as she saw me looking for more than five items to try on after the first set she rudely laughed and looked down on me like "Hah...uhh. No. You can TRY ON 5 items and then if you BUY ONE you can TRY ON 5 more." First of all, what a weird and backwards policy to have since what if the first five I try on don't fit/don't look good on me so I want to move onto some new items (which 4/5 of the items ended up not fitting because their sizing is crazy small!!) but secondly she treated me like I was just wasting her time, only when I actually bought two items did she actually smile all wide and suddenly change her demeanor acting really nice and excited. I would've bought so much more if she wasn't so dismissive and if she didn't have that weird policy that made it seem like she was interested in trapping you into buying something. She said her reasoning was to keep the dressing rooms open enough which I understand but still why make you buy something just to try on more items?? And the way she was talking to me was like "you look young like you don't have any money to spend here" Side note: I'm so confused on where her items are from at this point in my time shopping here?? The items look a bit too fast fashion but are like triple marked up in price! I saw one outfit that I had gotten before off Amazon for $15 that was marked up to $56, and the outfit in question is an insanely thin cheap material dress with a hood. Unfortunately I can't tell if this is just an SF pricing moment, but I really want to support a small business that actually has cool alternative clothing that isn't just up-marked fast fashion coupled with a "this is exclusive and you can't afford it" attitude read more

I'd been in here a couple of times to try things on, and I've always been super impressed by the variety of cool things they have! Everything's pretty high quality but also affordable for what you're getting (sequins, holographic fabric, fake fur etc). I'm finally making a review because I just bought the MOST AWESOME crushed velvet pants for my first purchase! :) In the past I'd ordered a similar product from Warrior Within and their crushed velvet bell bottoms didn't fit me right :( the ones I bought today (for only like $36) fit AMAZINGLY though! Plenty of stretch, room for a high waist fit, long enough even though I'm hella tall, etc. If you need high quality stretchy comfortable bell bottoms go here!!!! read more

One of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I ever had... Came here with a friend to look for drag outfits. The employee was super helpful at first with his suggestions. I don't know what happened that caused him to suddenly change his demeanor, but he acted irritated and annoyed towards my friend and I when we were ready to pay. He quickly rushed over to the dressing room and asked why a couple of the hangers were empty (one was empty because of the item my friend was going to buy and the other was empty because I had given him one of the skirts back in exchange for a larger one.) Okay, he calmed down afterwards. Right when we were walking out of the store, he called us back in with such an aggressive and accusatory tone as to where the jewelry he had shown us was. My friend and I came in and showed him where every single item we had tried out was located. He did this in front of other customers. (Can you imagine how embarrassing and uncomfortable it would be to be asked to go show where all the items you tried out were?) He calmed down again and told us to come back any time. Yeah, right... first and last time I go there. I can understand keeping an eye on your inventory, but blatantly assuming and acting angrily towards customers you think are stealing makes people feel unwelcome and just plain awkward. Specially embarrassing them in front of other customers. A few minutes after my friend and I left, we regretted doing business here due to the employee's accusatory behavior.
