Sorry for the long review. Been living in the sunset district for 3 years. After Nordstrom closed, I found myself shopping at a local boutique in the sunset, routinely. I found a couple of items I can't wait to wear. the pajama sets they have are top quality. They are very similar to the sets I've found in high end bed/linen company's in town.I've also purchased a cute top that gets me many compliments and a leather purse that transforms into a backpack. They have many items including jewelry and beach items. I'm telling you, come and find your next item you can't live without. read more

Siren Boutique is a great find! I recently discovered the store and was pleasantly surprised that they have a little something for all ages. What I appreciated most was the sales person I was working with really helped me to decide on an outfit that suited my body perfectly. I was hesitant at first but boy, was she right! I'm glad I discovered Siren. It sort of reminds me of my favorite boutique store on 9th Avenue that closed several years ago. I haven't been able to find anything like that shop and this comes pretty close. I think Siren's pricing is on the high side and I don't mind paying more for good quality but some things aren't made that well as I could tell once I tried on the clothing. The store has lots of cute items- a little overpriced but worth a browse. The one star is given because I found it ill-mannered how the staff spoke so rudely of a customer in front of other customers. Describing in foul language how she will return everything she bought and what a waste of time it was for them. I get it we all talk about everyone but in whisper mode or in the break room. It discourage me from making my purchases. Also they have some Dolce Vita Pailey heels ($150) way over priced when I found them at Marshall's for $30! We recently moved across town (away from Siren), and one of the biggest things I'll miss most is being able to run into Siren for the perfect outfit for any occasion. The folks there are just incredible, and the selection is fantastic (as are the prices). But it's worth the trek across town, and I'll be sure to visit as often as possible. Gives off profiling vibes which is so unfortunate for a store in SF. I did not get warm and fuzzy vibes visiting this store today at all whatsoever. I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 7 years and have heard similar experiences from friends and colleagues. Stinks - my first experience at the store was great when the owner was present. My second experience today made me not want to return. I hope this store does better.... Seems like there are other similar reviews of others with similar experiences. My friend and I were taking a walk in the neighborhood and stopped by this little shop. It had a lot of cute little things. I found a soap that I liked and the sales associate treated me like I was going to steal it. She very loudly told me that she could hold it upfront for me. She did not ask any other person in the store the same question. It felt very targeted and racial. I will not be returning. This boutique is everything! First, Lisa the store owner is incredible. She fills her store with beautiful, cute, and affordable items including clothes, jewelry and flower bouquets. She has a special eye and helps you style everything. Everytime I have left the store I've never felt more beautiful and confident in my new outfits. Every piece I've purchased has become an absolute staple in my wardrobe. She simply goes above and beyond. She also offers personal shopping experiences which are incredible! I've brought friends with me and now they are all hooked! We can't shop anywhere else now because we are such big fans. I can't speak highly enough of Siren and Lisa. Another bonus - parking is easy! I recently discovered this store in my neighborhood and like their selection so much that I introduced my kids to it as well. The tall young lady (don't remember her name) usually helps me, and my experiences here have always been great. Unfortunately, this evening is an exception. While in the fitting room, I tried on something I really liked and wanted to show my husband. The sales associate by the fitting area saw and proceeded to tell me that it was way too big and not the right fit for me. After I politely told her that I wanted to discuss it with my husband, she remained standing between us. When my husband said he liked it, she interrupted again and continued to criticize the fit, lightly grabbing the sleeve of the sweater (that I was still wearing) for emphasis. I again asked her for some privacy but she proceeded to tell me that she works back there and can't leave. I didn't ask her to leave, just give us some privacy to speak! She made me so uncomfortable that I just left without buying anything. I should clarify that this rude person was not my regular wonderful sales associate. read more

I never knew this boutique existed in West Portal until this past weekend. There were lots of cute dresses and sweaters. I saw a long sleeve coat I really liked which happened to be on sale with an additional 30%. My boyfriend ended up buying me the long sleeve coat and another one which was also on sale. Overall we received really good customer service. I will likely be back when there are new arrivals. 5 stars! read more

I have enjoyed this store since it opened here in West Portal, but my experience this last week was truly amazing! I needed a major wardrobe refresher after having my second baby 4 months ago, but finding time to shop has been difficult. When I wandered into Siren with my baby in a carrier, I figured that maybe I could buy a few pieces to take home and try on. Jeniffer, who was working there that day, instead generously offered to hold my baby while I tried on items! I found a ton of gorgeous clothes that make me feel great in my post-baby body. I wore some of them out last night for a networking event, and got dozens of compliments on my look. I told them all where they can find great clothes at very reasonable prices! West Portal has needed a cute boutique like this for years! I'm so happy there's a spot to grab that last minute gift or outfit as well as fill that retail-therapy void! Although the boutique has a modern bohemian vibe, it carries a variety of styles so its pretty much guaranteed that you'll find something to love! For example, I had my mind set on quickly picking up a gift for a friend, but I ended up walking out with an amazing dress, top and unique earrings for myself. *palm over face* The great thing about this cozy store is that it doesn't break the bank! This is my second review and I don't know why I keep shopping here. Every time I go into Siren I have the same horrible shopping experience.The sales associates follow me around the store like I am going to steal something. I was in there this past Saturday and the older female sales associate made it a point to follow me. I was in the back of the store looking through their sale rack when the sales associate made it a point to watch me the whole time I was back there. I hope they don't think all black people steal, because we DON'T. I have purchased nice things from this boutique, but I get uncomfortable and horrible customer service every single time. I work hard for my money and I love treating myself once in awhile, but not with this horrible customer service. I highly recommend a trip to this locally owed boutique. When my sister turned 30, I emailed the owner, Lisa to see if she could set up a private shopping session. When we arrived Lisa set out mimosa supplies and adorable birthday decorations for my sister. Lisa spent her morning that the store is typically closed dressing my sister. My older sister is a mom and rarely takes the time to do anything for herself. When Lisa dressed her I could see how confident she felt. We all smiled and laughed together as we picked out beautiful clothes. Lisa has a special touch that can make any girl feel her best. She is honest about how things look and always try to find pieces that you will wear often. She is so kind and beyond talented at what she does. The clothes are affordable the staff are sweet and there are stunning bouquets displayed outside as well. A visit to this store is an absolute must!!! read more

Superior quality, hip clothing and shoes at discount prices! I will always check this boutique in West Portal first before going anywhere else. The buyer/owner knows exactly what I am looking for, in my price range. I could not believe the low price tags on the sale items. She is motivated to move high quality items through quickly and is willing to part ways with them for a very small price tag, so the inventory refreshes often. I found the perfect blend of clothes that will get me noticed while being functional in gorgeous fabrics that are super comfortable and packable. I found clothes for professional work, travel, weekends, and they all stand apart from the crowd and are supremely comfortable. Andrea was working Saturday and was extremely delightful and helpful, providing an honest opinion about my choices and not attempting to sell me more than I wanted. She stayed late to help me finish shopping and was vibrant and happy to do so. This is probably the worst store that I've ever been too. I bought shoes and the sales lady told me that it was leather, and it ended not being leather and it was a different type, so I got allergies from it.. and when I was trying to return it, the owner had the audacity to lie to me about being able to return and made up so many lies.. and ended up not letting me return the item.. they have such a rude customer service and I will never recommend to go to this store because of there attitude and for being feeling like being judged when I'm in there.
