This is one of my favorite shops to stop by when I visit Chicago! The decor is always so cute and full of trinkets. Great place to window shop and get souvenirs and gifts for friends.

P.O.S.H. is a neat little shop which sells some interesting finds. Many of their items are listed on their website. They have some random goodies on display, but it is well decorated. There are some skylights near the back and a brief view of the courtyard. The store carries some books, but it is not a bookstore. They have an assortment of products at varying price points. Neat, detailed silverware. The friendly staff offered amusing stories about patrons visiting during St. Patrick's day while customers checked out. After browsing around here, I'd recommend the chocolate shop next door.

I can't stress this enough, P.O.S.H. is genuinely one of my favorite stores in Chicago, and I don't have many. Most are reasonably priced, though some collections are more expensive, which makes sense given the quality. I've picked up a few plates and kitchenware from here, and the whole store gives major Alice in Wonderland vibes, which I am totally here for!

We came in to browse at the holiday gift ideas around Thanksgiving holiday season. It was full of people in the store. It was really fun looking at what they had on display. Really got me into the happy holidays mood! So many cute things !

This store is by far one of my favorites in Chicago. Curated so uniquely and the products they offer are candy for the eyes. There are affordable and very expensive items there to choose from. A must if in the area.

P.O.S.H has been here for forever and I always pop in when I'm in the area. It's mostly kitchen and/or Parisian items. There's really beautiful pieces here. It was busy for a Friday afternoon which I love seeing! The 2 gals behind the counter were eager to help explain the tea: Mariage freres. If you know, YOU KNOW. It's tea straight from France. It's in the pricey side, but absolutely delightful. I walked out with a tin of that tea as well as a teeny bowl.

If you love everything French and are of any age you MUST visit P.O.S.H! Upon entry patrons are dazzled by the colors and the sights of Eiffel Tower Dish Towels, to French Valentines Chocolates from Maxim's in Paris, to French Mustard in a crockery, to mini French wooden mustard spreaders and spoons for the kitchen, to cookbooks, honestly it IS like going shopping in Paris-both new and vintage items. The staff was incredibly friendly both times when I shopped there recently. My items were individually wrapped with care and placed in their signature red bags. What a truly unique French experience in Chicago! Gifts appropriate and classy for everyone!

If you're looking for gifts, this is the place! They have a mix of vintage and new items. Very eclectic feel! They had an amazing variety of Christmas ornaments when I visited in the November! I noticed a lot of China, home decor, books, etc. I wish I took more pictures inside! If you're struggling to find the perfect gift, I'm sure you could find something here!

Wandering around the area, I was stopping in to some shops as I passed them with no real agenda. I noticed this store and went inside. It's super cute, with a very European flair. Lots of French and British influenced items. They have lots of kitchen things, decor, and gifts. The whole store was chock full and lots to see in every corner. It was a bit overwhelming to me but I enjoyed looking around since it wasn't too crowded with people. I also liked the paper flower display in the back. The overall vibe of the store was cozy and cute - not really my own personal aesthetic, but I liked checking it out.

They have Absinthe gear, the cutest cheese plates, Gnomes plate set, vintage French maps and too much awesomeness.

I adore this spot…read more The only thing that could make this place better would be more fabulous things for me to buy. Although I'm pretty sure my husband would disagree. The staff is so kind and helpful. I do wish they had a bathroom. But really. It's okay. Cuz my guys just went to Starbies and brought me back a drink. I also wish they had a lot for parking. I don't care... they still get five stars from me.

I'd been to the ones on Southport and on Wells but it was interesting to see the difference in merchandise here. It makes sense--this location seemed to have more office-type merchandise, and for a location in the Loop what better place to sell office supplies? Heck, I even had to stop myself from buying some of the cute office stuff they have here, and I only work two days per week in the office and still don't have my office space fully set up at home. If you need a last-minute card, even if it's beyond the standard congratulations or birthday, this is a great place to stop. And it's directly across the street from the Clark postal station, so may as well get it in the mail immediately before you forget! They had several board games. I'm a board gamer but usually don't play the ones that get mass market attention, and I saw some more niche ones like Steam Up which was truly surprising. I'm not sure who's coming here to buy them but I am totally in favor of stores supporting small publishers. I also saw journals, notepads, coffee cups, and so on. There's no parking here given its location in the loop. Train, bus, and/or foot will be your options.
