Despite the fact that adding our house (in Alexandria) to their rotation of clients mainly in Arlington had its logistical challenges, they have not let that interfere with providing timely service. They send dates of service for 1 year in advance and coordinate at the beginning of the week for the exact time of arrival. These reminders are perfect to help us deconflict with our busy family schedule (and to remind us to straighten up before their arrival!). When it comes to the cleaning, their work is thorough and spotless. The first thing I see when I get home is the gleaming kitchen sink!! They do a wonderful job in the bathrooms, bedrooms, and with our floors. Any tricky area we ask about ahead of time (like a shower) is given extra attention at the next appointment. The toilet was very dirty after they cleaned it. They refused to clean the shower walls even after I told them it was in the contract they sent me. They left some grease in the bathtub that they couldn't remove. The mirrors were full of lint and streaks. They missed so many dust bunnies on the floor. One guy had no idea how to use a broom-- I'm not exaggerating. The vacuum cleaner they had was an under powered joke. I regret the money and time I spend on this terrible cleaning service.

Nothing for 30 mins, so I called back to find out that they were on their way and that it would only be another 20 mins. 1 hr goes by after that (it's 2 hrs past the scheduled time), the response I got was "we were coming from Ellicott city, we are on the other side of hyattsville, another 20 mins, sorry its all due to traffic). Dodge the Job was prompt, courteous, and professional. They sent me information about what they needed before sending an invoice, they communicated with me leading up to the cleaning day, and, once on site, they explained to me the process they were going through (including how long they would take to clean, how long we'd need to wait until they dried, and what could help accelerate this process). Although the previous owner said he'd had the place cleaned before the final walk-through, Dodge the Job immediately knew that the previous owner had a dog just based on the condition of the environment. They did a good job cleaning the carpet and the rug (which had flood stains from our previous apartment) looked almost new. If I ever need our place cleaned, I'll definitely be contacting Dodge the Job (and be recommending them to folks in Maryland & DC).
