Well, that's what I did. I went to Midtown cinema to see Sinners. It was a rainy, gloomy day, so it was perfect to go to the movie theater. I worked for myself, so I was able to go to a matinee at roughly about 1 PM. It was a very nice experience. Since I since I had the theater to my entire self I purchased a popcorn and a soda and of course the movie ticket! Well I was surprised to only find out that my bill came out to be $32 for a movie midday however I continued to watch the movie and this movie was okay! But that part that threw me off were the vampires. I definitely wasn't expecting that, but that was a great little pot plot twist at the end. I was not too fond of it, but the cinema was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff made up for it. I actually got a chance to talk to one of the staff members and we talked about movies and I told them how I didn't understand why it was vampires and then also Hoodoo which I came to find out. Is a different type of magic than Voodoo. I love that the film was fictional and based on a folklore, talking to someone at the movie theater, who actually studied film themselves was an amazing experience. I enjoy the conversation with the staff more than the movie.

I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy ten different comedy skits from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., allowing performers to highlight their collective passion and talent. Cocktails are available for purchase and sold in a closed container so you can return to your seat. Last night as part of a yelp event we attended happy hour at the Gamut theatre. They do this great thing where they provide light refreshments happy hour prices at the bar and on and off improv. The best part is that if you attend happy hour then you can stay for the show after for free. I was really surprised when the team (TMI) incorporated it social media by taking polls and asking questions online- to help create content for the show. I thought it was innovative! They offer a wide range of different classes and shows available to the community and I encourage you to check it out!

This business is a pleasant and understanding coffee shop- which is everything I want. The vibes or the ambiance was calming and peaceful. It made me want to write a memoir or read "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. The coffee is good and NOT Foldgers. I was greeted immediately with two friendly smiles. They acted quick and precise. I purchased a bag of beans- which my cashier offered to grind- I'd declined. I purchased one black coffee (no cream, yuck on that cream) and it's delicious. I'm assuming it's their house blend but I didn't pay the best attention. And a quiche and little cake thing. Which are also great! Im just a traveler passing through the city.
