We had a wonderful time last night. Our party of 8 was extremely well cared for. Our server gave a great description of the Vegetarian Ramen which I LOVED! I added the egg but it didn't need it. I also enjoyed two of the Mocktails the Red Eye Chai & The Off Season. Both of them are SUPERB! I enjoyed a single bite of the chocolate mousse that was shared with me, but had no room to get my own dessert. The menu was intimidating. First time here, made a reservation as they are busy. Waitress was n8ce as was the host. For appetizers we had the lamb lollipops and Mac and cheese. The lamb chops they used a like roasted blackened chillipepper and you get 2 lambchops and broccoli. It was good, not great 4/5. The Mac and cheese was dry and nothing special and both are expensive for what they are. Mac and cheese 2/5 We ordered the mushroom pizza, tonkatsu Ramen, and salmon entree. Mushroom pizza = 4/5 (needed sauce or something for crust) Salmon 4/5 Tonkatsu Ramen = 1/5 (heavy soy sauce flavor, noodles too thin and on the firmer side). The beer is good. The atmosphere is nice. I've tried to eat here 3 times and I did not like my food every time. I'm not a complainer but I value my $. On Sunday afternoon I ordered a portabello mushroom cheese steak that was intensely salty - not edible. The mushrooms were black and the flavor was cooked out of them, the sauce, the cheese, and the mushrooms were very salty and the bun was mushy. Served with extra salty chips. They would have been delicious otherwise. My $13 drink was weak - could Not taste the gin. 2stars because even when service and atmosphere is good, I'm here for a meal and it was terrible. read more

Custom-made decor was terrific, always an attraction at good breweries. Our meals were excellent, as well. The guys loved the salmon with polenta, three asparagus spears and a garnish of kimchi. My mushroom truffle pizza was great, although I probably should have asked them to go light on the truffle oil. I had a surprise pistachio and delicious pickled pepper hidden in it, like little treasures. The fig and goat cheese pizza was a big hit too! The beer was not memorable, both had the top one on the list. I had a decaf coffee, but I think it had chicory or something, not sure though, because the server never really came back with an answer. I don't live near here but whenever passing through - Millworks is my go-to - consistently fantastic. Dropped in on 3/5/2026, Merve took OUTSTANDING care of our four top, and she was instrumental in naming a delicious IPA on tap, "Fig-get About It! Spiced Amber Ale w/ Fig", 8.1% and delicious. Started with a couple side salads which were so fresh, crisp, clean tasting and perfectly dressed. Moved on to the Wild Mushroom & Truffle pizza - next level, requested crispy crust - perfectly cooked. Thank you Millworks team and especially Merve - a night to remember, great food / great service. Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after the PA Home and garden show. They serve brunch until 3 so we ordered off of that menu. Hubby got the Breakfast Tacos and really enjoyed them. I got the Hummus Flight which included three different types of hummus, as well as some pita,crostini, and vegetables. It was wonderful! Our server was Brittney, and she was both friendly and attentive. Restaurant was nice and clean, too. Recommend! read more

I visited Harrisburg for a couple of days, and I could have eaten here all of those days! This place was so unique and very delicious. It is very artsy, but unlike any artsy restaurant I've seen. There were actual art merchants that had their own 'store front' in the restaurant. They were scattered throughout the building and the restaurant was in its own space and the rooftop, so they were intermingled but together (if that makes sense). The restaurant/dining area was rustic and open. There was also a rooftop, but we got lucky and got bar seats inside. The menu was huge and had tons of different options. I really like how the drinks seem to be especially curated for this restaurant. To drink, we got the espresso martini and the violet drink. Both were so delicious and were quickly made after we ordered. To eat, we got the wagyu burger with fries and the Mac n cheese, which was huge! I actually ate every last bite of my burger and fries lol. The Mac n cheese was filling enough to eat on its own. Next time I visit, will totally be coming back here for a great atmosphere and dinner! read more

Millworks is in a cute hall which includes some artistry booths outside of the restaurant. We didn't have reservations and were sat upon arriving on a Saturday at 5. The menu is interesting. There are multiple vegetarian options as well as a few vegan ones. I chose to order the harissa salmon. I asked for the salmon to be well done, and it was very well done upon eating it. So "well" that the outside was basically charred. The presentation is kind of odd. There's just a chunk of labneh on the plate. Overall it was alright, but wouldn't order it again. Other people at my table ordered the steak. It's definitely more of a German style and the rohmossee sauce on the potatoes was a tad over bearing with a sweet mustard flavor. If you are a pickier eater this is probably not the best option for you in my opinion. read more

The Millworks is a place to vibe, enjoy some drinks, and some great food! I haven't been in years since I moved away from Harrisburg, and I was indifferent about going. But when we arrived and went up to the rooftop, I was glad we came. So much seating (& happy to have the ceiling heaters!) It may be a little pricey, but the food is cooked really well and flavorful. The lamb lollipops and pierogies were delicious. The lamb wasn't overcooked nor too fatty. I enjoyed that the pierogies were crunchy and had a nice serving of the toppings. Also, I was glad to see they had a couple of canned non-alcoholic beers to pick from. A great place that I have missed and it was a nice return. read more

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time! Being retired, it allows us to travel and sample many restaurant. The Millworks had a menu consisting of great meat and vegetables all sourced from local farms in the area. Jade, our waitress, was excellent- good recommendation, attentive service, and a very friendly attitude. A visit to Harrisburg, Pa. would not be complete without a dinner at The Millworks. An added plus, there was a very knowledgeable gentleman running a store in the restaurants who was selling authentic American Civil War artifacts and memorabilia. We stopped there on Saturday evening fairly early without reservations and the hostess worked very hard to find a table for the 3 of us. Two of us are from California and this restaurant had been highly recommended by someone from Harrisburg. The cocktails were amazing. Our Aunt who only drinks a Cosmos said it was the best she ever had. Two orders of meatloaf got rave reviews and my seared scallops were delicious. Everything seemed very fresh, beautifully seasoned and top quality. The restaurant itself is so unique and make sure to visit the artist galleries both up and downstairs. Yesterday my work team visited The Millworks at dinner time. I've been many times, always look forward to hosting there. Unfortunately, the service fell short. I'm a bit dumbfounded. After finishing my appetizer, I politely requested a fresh set of silverware for my entrée. This is a fairly standard request at any dining establishment. However, I was told that I would not be provided with new utensils, "We don't do that here." While the atmosphere and beverages were enjoyable, service standards matter. Something as simple as replacing used silverware should not be an issue, especially when specifically requested by a guest. read more

Wonderful place in a busy neighborhood of Harrisburg. Open space with several places to eat, drink, and shop local. The brewery is decent and the food is good. Had a lager and Cobb salad for lunch, perfect. The Cobb salad came out with hot chicken, good touch. Bacon was full cut, and the lettuce was crisp. Enjoyed a dinner here while in town to visit Hershey Park! Millworks has a very interesting concept because it's a restaurant, brewery, and an art studio. It was fun browsing around the gift shop and seeing all the artists' work. On to the food! Love a farm-to-table moment. The gravy fries are a must. We almost didn't order it, but really glad that we did. Something about that gravy is so addicting! Also, the grain bowl was impressively large and only $16! To be honest, I'm unsure where to start. I stumbled upon Millworks on Google maps the other day. The husband and I were sneaking away for a date night after he got off work. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic! Upfront honest and knowledgeable about every dish we asked about. You would think she was just speaking highly of every dish because she gets paid to do so, but having ordered almost a dozen items off the menu, I can tell you she was not making anything up. We had four appetizers, all fantastic... Five entrées including two pizzas, all fantastic... And because, why not, decided to try all four desserts as well, they were also all fantastic... there's really nothing specific that I can say about any of the dishes as I'm sure any other dish picked would be equally as amazing. Seriously, whatever stands out as what you think would be good will probably be the best dish you've had in a long time. There is no wrong choice at this restaurant. There is a reason that The Millworks are the number one restaurant on all review sites in Harrisburg. This place is absolutely fantastic, everything and I mean everything is perfect. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, set inside an old mill that has been divided up perfectly into a restaurant and artist space. They did a great job utilizing every available space to make the dining experience truly memorable. The staff was some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Always smiling, very accommodating. Just a true pleasure to be around. Cocktails and beer were awesome as well. Not a beer drinker but I must recommend the Magic Maker beer if you like sour beers. Honestly the best beer I have ever had. The food was the highlight. Without a doubt I can recommend the deviled eggs, brisket pirogies, and the meat loaf. Stopped by here on the way back home from camping and what an excellent choice it was! The place shares a space with several shops and a Biergarten. When you walk in there is a hostess stand where you check in and purchase items from the first shop located on your right hand side. The place is huge and can seat a larger party or intimate for two and even bar seating. The service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and apologized for the wait (which didn't even feel that long). The food was also excellent! To start, we got the potato donuts, salmon flatbread and deviled eggs. The donuts were interesting as I expected more of a pancake, shredded potato texture but very moist and balanced sweetness at the end. The flatbread was the best starter! For mains we got the country fried chicken and brisket Benedict. Both very delicious and the chicken even tasted good the day after! The crispy potatoes were also a must as they were the most well seasoned and crunchy potatoes I've had. Also if you like spice, ask for their housemade hot sauce! It's an extra $1.00 but trust me it was worth it!!! The cold brews were also delicious! I got the cream and pistachio syrup and so well balanced and not overly sweet with the cream. read more

Everything here is worth eating. Holy moly. The drinks are all amazing. The art is stunning. I swear I could spend 24 hours here eating, drinking, and looking around and still want more time in here. Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal. Bob really made the afternoon great. They were super personable and really attentive.
