Do not bother with this guy. My husband left a review below and I wanted to jump in and confirm this guy is full of it and a liar. You can see the screenshots below where the appt was scheduled, he confirmed, and then he flaked out. I sent my husband to the house in Auburn (we are buying it and currently live in Roseville). It was 2:15pm and Pablo had not shown up yet, not called or texted to let me know what was going on. I called him and he was like "ohhhh ya, something came up, can we meet tomorrow." He had ZERO intention of showing up, and ZERO intention of even having any professionalism and calling me or messaging me to let me know he needed to cancel. If you flake on a consult, your work is going to be shitty and you are going to flake out on the job. NO THANK YOU. I need someone who WANTS to make money - someone who has a good WORK ETHIC and this is not the guy. He is also highly unethical to try and spew out BS about allegedly us having "numerous cancellations and horrible communication" on our behalf. Pablo and his team did an outstanding job on a relatively large project to finish my backyard. The project included a retaining wall, redwood fencing, drainage, raised bed planter, irrigation work, electric work, and a large area of hard packed decomposed granite. Pablo provided prompt and professional communication throughout the entire process. He and his team were all very kind and hard workers. First and foremost, I have worked with many contractors and Pablo and his Crew lived up to the best of them. He lived up to his word and was able to execute a highly technical job with ease and efficiency. He removed dangerous trees and limbs in a fashion that preserved all other landscaping, plumbing and electrical. His rates are excellent and his friendliness is unmatched. They left the work area clean and the job came out beautiful. I would like to add that the care taken by this man was so deeply appreciated as we just lost our home to a wildfire and he was able to make great recommendations for safety and preservation. Where to start? I contacted this landscaper via Yelp and it was a nightmare in 2 ways: 1. Lack of communications skills on the part of the contractor; and, 2. Numerous attempts to have him come out to provide an estimate of work, e.g., periodic landscape maintenance, provide gutter clean-up services, and "replenish" gravel on a secondary driveway and walkway that circles the property. After numerous emails back and forth - we decided on him visiting my property during a Saturday morning . . . Fast forward to the end of the day, Pablo did NOT show up. Why? Again, numerous emails indicated he would be late, and then I received a final email indicating that he had a flat tire and because he had a late 1pm maintenance appointment to make, I was out of luck. Consequently, this contractor WASTED my entire day waiting for him to show up and provide an estimate. I wrote him an email Sunday, indicating he had one last chance to redeem himself and show up on time and perform the estimate he promised me. I told him, what he decided would be a determining factor in whether I provided him a "Good, Mediocre, or Bad" review via Yelp. This morning he finally responded, i.e., sending a flurry of emails (prior to 6:30am). When I woke up, I could barely decipher what this person was trying to say, but it sounded like he wanted to come out and visit my property today. He also wanted to know the scope of work, even though I had provided him that during my initial contact, and specifically asked him to come out and provide an estimate. Again, I provided him the general scope of work and asked him what time he would be at my house? Approximately 2 hours later, Pablo provides me an email where he tells me what he will do and what he wont do; as well as providing his contract cost rate per hour for various services. No mention of coming out to the property and providing an accurate estimate or apologizing for his incompetence up to that point. I wrote him one last email, saying, "I have hired someone else. Goodbye . . ." In conclusion, I would NOT hire this person if he was the last landscape maintenance person on planet Earth. Think about that for a second . . . He didn't even do any work on my property. I am fairly certain he probably does satisfactory and even good work, when he actually is on the job. However, his business aptitude and practices in all other aspects is very poor. For this reason, I deemed him unreliable and decided on going in a different direction insofar as my landscape maintenance needs. read more

Pablo and company did not disappoint. He arrived with the right equipment, the right size crew and on time. We contacted Pablo on a Saturday to quote us for a spring mow and hedge for our property. We have 1.75 acres and since our young adults have left the nest, its too much to handle on our own. Pablo came out to walk our site the following day and we had a quote a few hours later. We never go with the first quote so we put out requests to three more groundkeepers and every single one of them could not come through to give us a proper quote. We contacted Pablo and he and his crew were here the next day, mowing and hedging exactly as requested when we showed him what we wanted. read more

Pablo came out right on time. Took a look at my drainage issue and has a solution to remediate the flooding. Sent me a very detailed proposal with a very competive price. Unfortunatly I have to hold off for a bit as my furnace died and I have to replace it. He texted that he could not make his appoint as had an emergency come up. So we made another appointment the next day. Received a text he was running late, then a text that he couldn't find our home. I texted back asking location of where he was and he sent back a picture of address signs which one is to our house and within minutes of our home. I texted back this info and he took a while to text back and said he was already back in town and had another appointment the next day in Alta Sierra so couldn't make it to our home. I texted back asking if we were too far out for him and he never replied. We are 3 1/2 miles from town. He's a flake and I should have known that from other Yelp reviews. read more

Pablo came to my home on multiple occasions. Work he stated was performed, was not. I paid him for services he stated were performed. I was not able to test it right away. I paid him based on his word that the work was completed. He offered to come "fix" it and wanted to charge me.
