You can see how this relationship broke down, and why anyone would refuse to recommend them after this experience: I engaged Hedlund Irrigation & Landscaping Inc in October 2020, on the suggestion of a tree doctor, to plant a series of Arborvitae on the border of my property, as well as irrigating it. We initially tried to schedule it that fall, but things were pushed back (understandable). At the last moment, with the unseasonably warm December, it was suggested we plant the trees then -- but on the advice of my tree doctor, I requested to push to early spring. Everyone agreed. At this point the relationship was great. Spring passed. I was attending a family emergency when I was told they were going to plant in June. The hottest part of the year. This was the worst possible time to plant. 3 of 6 trees died. I wrote several times to see if we could rectify this problem and have been stonewalled since. It is now late September. They got their money and ran. This is not a reliable company. Avoid.

But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. Now that my husband and I, the owners, moved in, we wanted a space that felt "finished", cozy and a place where we would like to hang out. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us.
