Great place to find your next pair of running shoes! I don't often end up Holly Springs, but Pace Yourself was recommended to me. The store is easy to find and there are several public parking lots nearby. I stopped in on a Saturday morning. The store was empty except for two employees. I was greeted upon arrival and Lucas offered to help me right away. I explained what I was looking for and he recommended three options. I tried on each of the three pairs before deciding on a pair of Topo sneakers. When trying them out, They encouraged me to walk around the store and run down the sidewalk outside. It was a nice day for a short jog around the shop. The Topo sneakers felt great at the store and still do now. They have a wider toe box and are comfortable. All around great experience. I just got my second pair of running shoes personally delivered with a roll of toilet paper during COVID-19. I loved my first pair so much that I had to order another. When you visit to get fitted they will start by looking at how you walk. Next they will bring out different pairs of shoes for you to try. You can even run down the sidewalk. It's clearly a running store owned and managed by runners - truly feels like being part of the running community when you're in here. The taproom feel of the store was especially surprising - a wide selection of great beers, wines and ciders are on hand. Runners socializing here all the time. Great group runs scheduled weekly. 5 star customer service 5 star expertise I am not a competitive runner, and probably not a a good one, but I came in with foot pain and the staff were so knowledgeable, kind and caring. They examined my existing shoes and were honest about their condition (fine) and alternate options. They helped me find insoles to provide some relief right away. They also recommended I see a podiatrist and gave a referral for one that I ended up loving. After all that they then helped me get fitted in even more appropriate shoes based on the doctors recommendations. They were nothing but friendly, honest and obviously know feet and shoes. At no point did I feel like they were trying to make a sale, they seemed genuinely interested in helping me resolve my issue. Highly recommend!!! read more

We love having this local store in our small town. The staff are knowledgeable and runners so they have a better understanding of your needs. Love that there's a bar. Bought a 170 dollar pair of New Ballance shoes . They were fitted by an associate in the store. They developed a hole in the toe area after a couple of mont. When I took them back to the store they said there was nothing they could do as they only have a 30 day return policy read more

Honestly I was skeptical at first how a dedicated running store serving craft beers would stack up against the online stores and even the well known stores in Raleigh, however they have done a great job stocking high end running gear at competitive sensible prices together with a loyalty points system. One thing Holly Springs did not need in my opinion is another craft beer store, but again I find myself more often than not favoring PYRC for a sneaky beer because there is pretty much always like minded people there to talk to and a good selection of beverages. The one thing that has really impressed me was the store manager, Sam is definitely not a hard core 'sell what we have' he is a true consultant councilor when it comes to running shoes, you won't leave with a pair shoe's because that's what they had available, you will leave with either the right pair, or with a recommendation on what try (even if it meant you had to go somewhere else) to me, that honesty and high integrity will make PYRC stand out amongst the rest. read more

What a great addition to Holly Springs! For a town with such a thriving run community, this definitely fits a need. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. An ever expanding selection of shoes apparel and nutrition means there is always something new to check out.
