Just purchased an end-of-year 2026 Audi SQ8 Prestige from Audi of Santa Barbara and the first thing I did was set up an appointment with Chris to get her paint conditioned and ceramic coated. He offered System X's Warranted Ceramic Coat (base coat and top coat) for the paint, all exterior glass with System X's Glass, and my 23" wheels' faces, interior spokes, barrels, and red calipers all around with System X's Wheels. A FULL two day job. Given his loaded backlog, I was able to get the car to him after having Audi of SB delete the OEM brake pads (prodigious brake dust) and have them install DFC 5000 Euro Ceramic brake pads all around. When Chris started on the wheels, he noticed that the barrels in particular "were caked with dust". Thus, my desire to get them coated as well! Paint was clay barred, even though she arrived with only 1200 miles on her, as well as a few paint chips on the hood expertly filled. Picked her up today and she is simply astounding on very level. Paint feels like butter, and looks even better, and has a six year System X warranty. Pictures simply don't do justice to the care and attention Chris paid to this project. Cannot recommend Chris, and his talents, and attention to detail, enough. And I continue to do so with my new six figure toy!!! He's 120 miles away from my home, and I don't hesitate at all to make the trek!

I hadn't had a detail in a decade and it was just filthy inside and out. It's a NEW car, minus the dent I need to have vacuumed or sucked out and the driver's seat. Saab leather cracks sooner than other brands. My Nissan Pathfinder LE (1998) lasted much longer. I took a video but will get pictures later and upload to phone. I cannot believe the ceiling. Like no one ever smoked! It's shiny, shiny, shiny. They did the interior and exterior, plus engine. Elite detailing isn't cheap but if , like me, you paid cash for your used car and have no payments, who cares? It's like a couple months car payment or so. Do yourself a favor and call for a quote. The website has no prices but they also do ceramic coating, with several tiers of packages. You can do a mini-detail or just regular car wash but if you leave the car with them for a day, they will give you a NEW CAR back at the day's end. I'm still on Cloud 9. Floating! Every time I see my baby, I smile! PS. THE SB INDEPENDENT BEST OF LIST IS HORRIBLE. The best acupuncturist, not just in SB but California, is Anthony Kar. He's probably the best in America. He wasn't on the list. My friend, Evan Schoolnik Berger, has a food tour company that didn't make the list. My chiropractor and gym made it. Barry Family Chiro and SBAC/SWELL are the best in town. But David's shop should have made the list.

After paying and excited to get my car back looking newer than ever I was inspecting the car and noticed quarter sized paint chip on the passenger side and rim rash. I confronted David about it and ofc denied it. After taking it home for the first car wash they missed multiple spots with the ceramic coat. Again confronted David and said that's not possible. After showing a video clearly showing it wasn't ceramic coated. Finally agreed to fix it. After that I got a new part added and wanted it coated and paint corrected as well. I paid $300 for that part and the original missing panels to my surprise issues weren't done as promised. After going back the 3rd time. I dropped it off for the whole day then didn't touch the car at all. Wasted my time. 4th time same thing. Finally after the 5th visit it finally gets done after being pushed off for days up to two weeks. If you care about your car and wanted to get the service and respect you deserve. DO NOT GO HERE. The repair itself is flawless, panel gaps, paint match, everything lines up like it came off the line that way. On a G-Wagon that's not a given; plenty of shops will happily take a swing at one and hand you back something that's almost right. This isn't that. But the part that really made the difference was the insurance side. Dealing with the at-fault carrier is normally a part-time job you didn't apply for, endless calls, lowball estimates, supplements that go nowhere. Alex handled all of it. He knew exactly what to push back on and how to document it, and I basically just got updates instead of headaches. Zero fighting on my end. He also does diminished value reports, which I didn't even know was a thing I should be asking about. A car like this loses real money on paper just from having an accident on the record, and he walked me through recovering that. If you've been hit and nobody's mentioned diminished value to you, ask him about it. Bonus: the man knows the local food scene better than most people who write about it for a living. Ask him where to eat while you're waiting, I got better recommendations there than from any app. Highly recommend. Ask for Alex.

First he told me that I wouldn't get my car back for about a month. I thought OK that's fine as long as I have a rental car. I drove a half an hour to get there And once I got there, the gal at the front desk told me that they still hadn't gotten approval from the insurance company for anything including the rental car because she wasn't able to get a hold of the insurance company. They did not tell me this prior to me getting there. Well come to find out Junior didn't tell Luisa that I needed a rental car. I told him that I definitely needed to have a rental car. It was a huge waste of time and money for me since I took the morning off of work.
